Thank you for that, so she was two rows back from the silver and blue cars. Interesting, so the camera footage in my screen cap is what CV was shown. Wouldn't take much zoom to see the car, IMO.

Oh yes, and I’m sure they have that. From what her brother Casey said when he saw the abduction footage they had to zoom in, so I’m assuming it was nearer the top of the image they had available. But I’ve no doubt LE has footage of Naomi pulling in and parking. My curiosity is exactly how long he was there, and if he was loitering off camera before she pulled in.

Her brother has said in an interview with GH that Driver was there before Naomi. I believe him, as he's seen the whole video.

Ah ok, well that’s interesting. Certainly plays into the theory he was absolutely waiting for her.

I hope it’s not fried because I’ve a feeling his defence team could use that to argue that he’s not mentally together, that he’s had to self medicate with pot over the years. JMO.
That claim wouldn’t hold very well. Pot is not meth, coke, or the like. A simple internet search will bring up scientific research showing it is less harmful than alcohol. He’s going to have to come up with a better excuse than a substance that is used to cure issues. Maybe an oxy addiction caused by an injury.

It also looks like there is a concrete base for a light present to the left, at the front of her of her vehicle.

It seems too far forward to obstruct the driver's side door, as, of course she was expecting to be exiting the car through it to go to the shuttle.

Do you think he was able to drive directly forward or did he have to reverse out of the spot?

If that's a light overhead, the image her brother saw from the Walmart CCTV might have really been quite good ( and very alarming, too!)

Here's a clearer pic. Herat from LCSO FB.

Zoomed by me.

From your link. This is where her car would have been.

So her car was to the left of that grey garbage bin?

Do those white posts with yellow bases to the right of the cart corral say something?

Do they designate a shuttle parking, maybe?

I believe they say pick-up.

I think it's the top one. It has the contour that is consistent with 1995 Mercury Sable

You’re referring to the one the yellow bin is in front of or the white car? I think it’s the car the bin is in front of personally.

Sorry, I see where the confusion is. There is a small white car that is on the top right-ish side as seen behind the orangy-overhang brackets. That wasn' the one I was calling white. Sorry. My focus was all on her car so the other really white one wasn't even registering.

The old model - door sedan with the reflecting hood is hers , more in the top center. The round yellow bin is in front of it ( I think it's actually a concrete pier painted yellow, that contains a light post, hence the reflection off of the car hood.

Oh I’m sorry, that’s the one I meant all along! Apologies if I wasn’t descriptive enough. Yeah that’s her car, cut off in the originally released footage but noticeable when they released more of it.

Yes @otto, but may I challenge you again? Put yourself in Driver’s shoes. As if…..
Anyway, you have your mark. It’s all planned. You’ll make your move under cover of darkness. As you’ve said, you wait in the shadows until it’s time to pounce.
She’s there where you knew she’d be; sitting alone in her car, busy on the phone, oblivious to anyone. So very vulnerable. Your excitement builds. Your adrenaline flows.
You keep your eye on her, ready to make your move. The time is right. Just as you’re about to approach your target, another car swings into the parking lot.
Not only that, but it pulls into a parking space not far from her vehicle and right next to where you are standing.
You are forced to move from the shadows. You walk through the headlights in full view of the driver and any passenger. This was not planned.
You move further down the lot away from the witnesses. You assess.
A savvy, smart, and cunning perp would throw in the towel and wait for another day. But not you. You are emboldened, a bit angry, over stimulated. You throw caution to the wind and begin your assault. Stupid you.
I think this is v likely what happened.

Sarah Everard’s murderer in London was in LE. He had planned an assault (albeit with random victim selection) with a full murder kit, destination location and some things believe me you don’t want to know. Yet he abducted her off a street, in a car he hired in his own name, which was picked up on the cctv of a passing bus as it sat on the pavement with hazard lights flashing where he abducted her.

They can plan, plan, plan but if a spanner in the works comes along, they may well still go ahead if they are so psyched.

Ugh. Just reading this gives me anxiety.
