What kind of men would put a child in garbage bags? The only reasons are nefarious in nature.
I don't understand why the name of the child isn't known. Wouldn't the school know her name? This is so confusing!

About 3:50 pm
1) child witnesses (they obviously didn't know her)
2) no school that day
3) it was by a middle school
4) no missing child has been reported
:moo:
Some schools aren't back in session yet. My boys go back tomorrow.
http://www.watershedpost.com/2012/police-seek-information-reported-child-abduction-newburghNew York State is on the lookout today for a five- or six-year-old girl who, according to witnesses, was abducted from outside a Newburgh school. But no name or photo of the girl has been released, and an Amber Alert issued late yesterday has been cancelled -- because, according to multiple news accounts, no one has filed a missing-person report with the police.
The Freeman reports:
In a release issued early Thursday, Newburgh Police states they had requested the alert during the early stages of investigation of the investigation. They said they have yet to receive a missing person's report or been able to identify additional witnesses to the alleged abduction, which was reported by a group of playing children, ages 5-11.
Newburgh police said Thursday morning that no one had come forward to file a missing-persons report on the girl and that the original report was made by a group of children aged 5 to 11.
Police declined to explain why the alert was canceled, saying only that further details would be issued Thursday.

Newburgh schools do not go into session until Monday

perhaps video does not "go" with the story? Just a thought at this point
Does anyone know-what happened after she was taken.Did all the children run home and tell their parents or was it one child who told a parent. If it was several who told parents-I believe the story to be true-KWIM
