Trump indictment updates: Trump speaks out on charges from Mar-a-Lago
Live updates on former President Donald Trump's indictment.
Yep, Yep. That there is common ground even if just a sliver it’s an important one.Thanks. So you are against violent riots and not peaceful protests. I think everyone can agree with that. JMO.
Did Daniels keep "the dress"? I have never seen proof of this affair.
I’ve tried to refrain from commenting on this thread because I have too much to say and don’t want to breach the TOS.
Yeah I think that will be live, how can media resist?Oh shoot - that is 9:15pm my time... I only get BBC for American news - wondering if they will put this on live - well before arraignment & after since cameras are not allowed in the court room.
yeah, a few. But New Yorkers have lived with his business and social failures since... forever. They know him better than most of us.He clearly has New Yorker supporters, the New York Young Republicans put on today's rally.
How is allowing cameras inconsistent with his presumption of innocence?

I think in this case, anyone who can't abide by the restrictions put in place to ensure public safety will find themselves arrested.
I agree. I also think this indictment is not the only one Trump will be facing.Certainly, IMO.
As American citizens we have the right to free speech and the freedom to assemble.
We do NOT have the right to violence.
On January 6th, although Trump had already called for his supporters to march on the Capitol, and to “fight,” I think the D.C. police were quite overwhelmed and caught off-guard by the level of violence and rioting.
I think the NYPD, which has experienced everything, also has the benefit of the heads-up that January 6th unfortunately provided.
I can hope and assume that the NYPD will be able to keep control and no one will die as they did on that horrible day at the Capitol.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams singled out Greene specifically when he delivered remarks about public safety ahead of the arraignment.
"People like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, she's stated she's coming to town. While you're in town be on your best behavior," Adams warned on Monday.
Adams continued: "We will not allow violence or vandalism of any kind and if one is caught participating in any act of violence they will be arrested and held accountable, no matter who you are."
Reports from the rally site estimated that fewer than 100 Trump supporters were present at Greene's rally, and upon her departure, she was shielded from counterprotestors by security.
Greene's rally for the former president comes even as polls show that 60% of Americans agree with the indictment...
New Jersey too. Just ask Atlantic City.
