I’m not convinced he answered the question truthfully… surely that, being so close to home would be a question that would stand out to him and he’d remember it. I know in my experience I would! I wouldn’t “misremember” someone asking me such a personal question like that, because I spend my time, including receiving therapy to try and forget it and I’m sensitive to whenever sexual abuse is even mentioned.
IMO the most disturbing aspect of his interviews is the notoriety that he appears to be seeking. I really hope this doesn’t backfire.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - During jury deliberations after the trial of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, some jurors initially doubted the accounts of two of her accusers, one member of the jury said on Tuesday night.
This juror, who asked to be identified only by his first and middle names, said some of the jurors had issues with the credibility of witnesses known as Jane and Carolyn, two of the four women who testified that Maxwell set them up with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein as teenagers.
He said that after some of the jurors questioned the accuracy of the two women's memories, he decided to share his own experience of being sexually abused as a child. He said that he remembered most important elements of what happened to him, but not every single detail. That swayed some jurors, he said.

Alan Dershowitz is seeking to depose Ghislaine Maxwell victim “Carolyn” in his civil suit against Virginia Giuffre to show she was a recruiter and not a victim. Never-ending litigation.
Virginia Giuffre has acknowledged recruiting girls for Epstein, in what has been likened to a pyramid scheme of abuse, saying she was coerced into doing so by Maxwell. Remember she was 16/17 years old

Scotty, per reports, is 35 and works in finance. That age and occupation matches Juror No. 50, who was not asked about his experience with sexual abuse, according to voir dire transcripts.

It is of course poss Judge Nathan asked about this in a sidebar. However, other jurors were dismissed simply for having relatives experiencing sex abuse. So either defence totally missed this, didn't think it affected his judgement & chose not to use veto, or Scotty left it out

I'm thinking Scotty should stop talking. He's being very public. I wonder why he wants only his first name and middle initial used. His picture has already been made public, along with his cat, and the inside of his home. I just hope, if he was asked, he answered honestly. I also wonder if he was paid for his interview ????

If during voir dire he answered yes to having been abused but then answered that he didn’t think that would make it impossible for him to render a fair verdict, then it’s on GM’s lawyers for accepting him. If he answered the first part of the question untruthfully, then GM has her “Get Out of Jail Free” card. SHEET!

Prosecutors alert Maxwell judge of juror's sex abuse claims
Prosecutors urged the judge who presided over the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell on Wednesday to conduct an inquiry into a juror’s reported claims that he was a victim of sexual abuse.
In a letter to U.S. District Judge Alison J. Nathan, prosecutors said the claims published in several interviews by press outlets “merit attention by the Court.” The juror was not fully identified in the articles, and the identities of jurors were not released during Maxwell's trial.
Prosecutors suggested in their letter that Nathan schedule a hearing in about one month, along with a schedule for lawyers to file briefs regarding the applicable law and the scope of the hearing.
“The Government respectfully submits that any juror investigation should be conducted exclusively under the supervision of the Court,” prosecutors wrote.
If the judge decides to conduct a hearing, her staff should “promptly contact the juror to notify him” and inquire whether he would like a lawyer to be appointed in connection with it, prosecutors said.

David, a 35-year-old Manhattan resident, admitted in both interviews that his confession influenced the deliberations that saw Maxwell, 60, convicted and facing up to 65 years in prison.

Are there even criminal charges against Andrew? All I know about is the civil suit by Giuffre and that one could be dismissed because of her settlement agreement with Epstein.
