Freddie246, I can totally understand how they feel. I was thinking the security guards might have said what they saw on the tapes. I was interested to learn if Jeffrey was where he said he was and if there was any activity in his apt. just trying to peice the puzzle together. Thanks
donna, honestly, I don't know what they saw. I don't live in the Grand Sutton. I actually live 3 blocks away, on 56 & 1st. That bldg is on 59th & 1st. I can say that the staff there, while they do have some security functions, are really more doormen than security guards, in other words, they help people with packages, hail cabs, etc. In my building, which is similar to that building there are cameras throughout that monitor certain areas, like the front door, the elevators, the hallways, laundry room, etc. the doormen don't really sit there and watch the cameras unless something completely out of the ordinary is going on. For example, if there was a fight outside the building they may watch at the time in an effort to determine whether to call the police, since JR lived in that bldg & probably kept late hours on the weekends, I'm not sure they would pay a lot of attention to it at the time because him coming home with a bunch of people at 4am & partying until all hours was probably a regular occurrence. I don't know if the building staff were even given the opportunity to view the tapes after it became clear that there was a criminal investigation in the bldg. It just my feeling, but it seems as if the police were the ones who came in and watched the videos with a fine tooth comb. I think I saw an interview with JC's dad where he watched them with LE. To be honest, even if the staff were given the opportunity to watch the tapes after they realized they were looking for evidence of a murder, they probably wouldn't talk about it for fear of their jobs.
ive thought a lot about those tapes and why they would throw JC's body out the window & this is what I've come up with so far. We know JR called for the cart, so he probably had the intention of taking the body out on that. However, JC, being a big guy probably didn't fit in a hard cover suitcase. They probably got him to fit in that duffel bag, but because of the soft, unstructured nature of the bag's fabric, one could see the shape of a body in the bag, like the contours of the head, or bent knees, etc. I think they put the duffel bag with JC in it on the cart & realized this, so they threw him out the window in the bag. That's how the blood evidence ended up on the cart, I read that he was seen taking the cart out with 2 suitcases, but they were probably empty. He may have just put them on the cart because he called for it & needed to appear like he was using it. what does everyone think?
