Found Deceased NY - Trevyan Rowe, 14, autistic, Rochester, 8 March 2018

How common are red sneakers? Are they the latest fashion statement? Yesterday a teen walked by and his red sneakers stood out like a sore thumb. I'm 5 or so hours away from Rochester, so I doubt it was him, just curious about the red sneakers, never saw them before.

Can I be the link for the credible sighting? I was at the search headquarters and heard it with my own ears from Rochester Police Department, but it has not been verified through MSM.

ETA: This was a CREDIBLE sighting...NOT a CONFIRMED sighting.
Yes..you can be the link. :)

I haven't seen anyone in red sneakers in last couple of days and trust me...I was looking! However, the last piece of attire you would want to wear in Rochester right now (if you are in the know about him missing) would be red sneakers.

I would walk Milburn to Culver to Park.

The other route I would walk is Barrington at the sighting to East Ave. and then East Ave...first to the right. He tends to make right turns unless forced to go left.

MOO.... :)

Looks like I was headed in the right direction...

"A main focus of Saturday's search involved the area of East Avenue and Barrington Street."

Well, this does not bode well and is not encouraging. I hope he is in the Park Ave/East Ave neighborhood instead!!

http://www.whec.com/news/rochester-police-department-continue-search-rochester-teen/4821001/?cat=565
During a press conference on Saturday, RPD said the SCUBA team will focus efforts on the Genesee River. Deputy Chief Mark Simmons cited calls made through the 911 center from people reportedly seeing someone matching the teen’s description.

Also...I got his info in an email from NY Alert regarding the spelling of his name. BBM. The thread title is correct.

At the request of the Rochester City Police Department, a New York State Missing Child Alert has been issued relating to the disappearance of TREVYAN ROWE; age 14; from ROCHESTER, NY at 02:26 am on March 09, 2018.

*UPDATED POSTER WITH CORRECT SPELLING OF CHILD'S NAME

I agree it doesn't bode well.. :(

Sounds like they have discounted the sightings. Lets hope he is walking Wilson Blvd along the river....

I'm getting bad vibes here, so to speak. If he was still walking around unwillingly, wouldn't he have asked for help by now. I know that high functioning autists are quite intelligent, although socially underdeveloped, but his brain is working well. Yes, he could be upset and scared, shutting down, but still. I sure hope he didn't met foul play or had an accident...

I am not able to go on the search today...although I feel I should and I want to...I can't today.

I do think LE is on track of what they need to be doing/where they need to be looking at this point. My hopes of finding him safe have faded significantly since yesterday. It is so sad for the family to have to go through this...but all of the community has come out to support them, perhaps there is some comfort in that.

Sadly, we just had a missing local couple found in the Genessee River in February.

Deputies have positively identified the bodies found in a submerged vehicle in the river as Robert and Mary Ross -- the Perinton couple reported missing last week.
Robert and Mary Ross were reported missing last week after Robert missed appointments for cancer treatment.

In that case...I could not even bring myself to follow that thread...I followed locally though and did provide a tip that I believe might of been helpful. That situation was brutally sad.

Props to the Rochester Scuba Team...they have a tough job. Especially so lately.

I looked at the map...surprise, surprise, hahaha....

If he went into the cemetery at the three entrances that cross fifth:

2 of them spin him around in circles but finally pops him out near Robinson.

The 3rd one pops him out at various places on Elmwood Ave.

None of them pop him out at the river. If he is high functioning, imo he will stay on a path.

Praying for this poor boy and his family. How scared he must be, if he's out there. What I don't understand is why he wasn't on a special ED bus to go to school. Where we live, these children are on special Ed buses, and it's easier for teachers who greet the bus to see who is on them and who is missing.

I feel bad for his little sister, too- she must be hurting because she didn't see him wandering off.

You've been amazing with all the help that you have done searching the last couple of days. I totally understand wanting to help but not being able due to other commitments/family obligations, but you were there during the critical days of searching for him, and that counts more than you'll ever know.

I am sad to say that we have had 2 different fliers with 2 different spelling of his name. I believe that Treyvon is correct and Trevyan is the error but I am not 100% sure. I noticed the spelling when we were out doing our search and forgot to mention it when we got back to headquarters.

If you find the correct spelling, let me know and I will update the title. Thanks!!
