Skylar was 18 years old by no means the timid child she was painted by the Defense to be.
They want us to believe she was a scared young girl, 18 to me is not a child. At 18 I had a 2 year old I was pregnant at 16 my parents weren’t over the moon but I was going to have my baby anyway, she’s 10 now and has a younger brother and sister aswell. I should add in that I am bipolar diagnosed 3 years ago, I also have a dependent personality due in part to being given up by my then 15 year old birth mother for adoption, she didn’t murder me, she concealed me right up until she was in labour and had to come clean to her parents, then made the right decision for her and for me aswell.
Skylar had options and this case hits so close to home for me. I could’ve been Annabelle. But Skylar is an adult not a child, she knew better yet chose to bury her baby. Don’t tell me she didn’t know what she was doing. I feel this is a huge injustice for Annabelle, she did not have to die and her death hasn’t even been acknowledged with this verdict
