Rittgers is taking several swings at the blood evidence collected by Sgt. Smith and other detectives. During questioning he admitted he could not date blood that was allegedly found in the room.
@journalnews

Rittgers is also pointing out no blood was found in testing from the baby
@journalnews

Now in the stand Warren County Coroner Dr. Russell Uptegrove.
@journalnews

Sorry about slow down in updates. Filing a print story from the courtroom, but keeping a ear to the testimony.
@journalnews

Uptegrove is now explaining a series of photos from the Richardson yard during excavation of the baby's remains,

he shouldn't have said the blood stain looked like a baby's torso because now he looks like he doesn't know what he's talking about because he didn't even know that the baby's dna was not in any of the blood stains

Uptegrove says he went back to the house on July 14 after pathologist Dr. Beth Murray told he some of the bones appeared to be dark
@journalnews

(I don't know about some of you but I feel like I am going to throw up looking at these pictures. Poor baby Annabelle left out in the dirt to rot.)

Uptegrove said Murray thought some of the bones, not many, may have thermal injury. They went out to look at the fire pit. Nothing human was found @journalnews

I'm surprised dad won't be called as a witness... hostile or otherwise. If so he wouldn't also be sequestered as Mom/Kim is.

Rittgers Sr. is now crossing Uptegrove. Not all the bones were recovered.

Uptegrove says it is wrong that he told police that the remains had been burned.

Thanks so much for the link! I got it for a little bit and then I lost it and now I can't find it again. That site is so confusing as I can't bring up what is live?
I watched it here but it's over for today. WDTN

The blood could've come from the birth process (mom's DNA) and still show a baby's torso IMO.
