If this group is any indicator, she will walk free. But she and her Mother...whether either or both deserve it or not...will not come out of this unscathed. Both have aroused disgust and derision in various segments of the public. There will always be some who blame one or the other for that discarded dead baby.

To be clear, the police interrogation of July 20, 2017 occurred prior to anthropologist Murray's second exam of remains, and her retraction that bones were not charred. Drying bones was reported responsible for the darkening/discoloration of some bones and not others.

A second search of the Richardson property also took place on July 20, 2017 for more bones in part because of Coroner's office/Murray statement of thermal injury.

IMO, the line of questioning by detectives makes sense given this information.

Brown testified that Murray was hired by the coroner’s office to analyze the remains and initially said the bones appeared dark and may have had thermal injury. Rittgers said later after the bones dried, Murray changed her mind.

I think I read that this was after the police took her phone. She was messaging her boyfriend from her mother's phone.
