My opinion, my speculation. I imagine that a few of these names will surface again. When I have a chance I’m going to see how this event fits into the larger time frame. Would be a good idea to save this article.

Could someone explain, to me why the prosecution, would not call JW & AW in RN trial? If they pleaded the 5th, or try to spin the truth it would only hang them in their own trials. JMO and my mind wondering.

I was thinking JW and GW4 could be called for RN's case because don't they also have charges of forgery?

The W's are charged with wire, oral or electronic interception and unauthorized use of property etc January 2014 thru May 9 2017 (Count 19 and 20). I think the W's were watching the R's long before HR left JW which shows how obsessed and controlling the W's are/were.

It probably started with a track on HR's computer or phone by JW...to see who she was talking to, corresponding with, JMO

Yes, great news. For those not familiar with the geography, this huge Task Force Bust in very close to Pike County. Basically same area.
I’m cross checking names with the other article you posted. I see one same name, and a few similar surnames.
More interesting are the number of sealed indictments, most Felony 1 or F2.
Also interesting:
“The investigation focused on the trafficking of narcotics and stolen firearms, which led to grand jury indictments of 59 people in major drug trafficking organizations”

Often wonder about the weapons used in Rhoden/Gilley Murders
Were they legal purchased and registered?
I doubt it.

Re: BCI Special Agent Supervisor Michael Trout. He worked on the R case and apparently is not a nice guy. Lost his job because of it.

Trout was also accused of creating dysfunction in his unit. Trout told SA Ryan Scheiderer in May 2017 after important evidence was obtained in the Pike Co. case "I solved the case but you are getting all the credit." Unit members credited Scheiderer for the success of warrant

Yes I read them all. What I was commenting on was Trout saying, if I'm reading it correctly, something obtained from the May 2017 warrants search "solved the case".

Has anyone searched the past deed holder on the Peterson road property, I could be wrong but I found a place that indicated it belonged to George Wanger the first, anyone know if I’m right or wrong? JMO

I can totally see what you're saying and I get where you're coming from.

But I would think if that were the case, the prosecution would know that misleading the court and defendant by being sneaky with wording could be very detrimental.

It might result in a mistrial or an appeal and would not be worth it. And it would cause many to lose respect for AC or damage her reputation.

Also, I think if Rita knows something is in there that could really help her, her attorney would be pushy and much more insistent about it. (We've seen how stubborn he can be.)

BUT, then again, I may be over thinking the whole thing.

IMO it could be evidence connected to the murders but not connected to the forged documents/RN. Therefore it would be of no interest for RN’s defense but there could be evidence useful against the W4. For instance, it could be a receipt for something purchased (? The original receipts for the BPVs) or perhaps for the gear they wore or used in the commission of the murders. Maybe it was something written from one of the W4 or R’s that perhaps was intended for blackmail or perhaps some nefarious photos. I’m just guessing of course.

I'll take a guess. The Wagners wanted to see which way the wind was blowing--towards them or towards the Manleys?

The heat was on the Manleys, BJM took 3 lie detector tests, James was taken from his job and driven to the city to take one when he was tired and hungry and didn't pass that one. The tracker was placed and James arrested etc...

All of this would be good news to the Wagners who grabbed a hold of any piece of information that appeared to put LE on a different track away from them. But then in May 2017 Jame's charges were dropped and LE started interviewing not just them but Rita Newcomb also, and searching with Swat teams the Wagner's house and properties

Well we knew something major happened in the Case back in May 2017. The searches, several Wagner interviews including all 4 being interviewed on May 21st with this being the only interview in discovery for GW4, (that I can see) then charges dismissed and never re-filed again against JM, the move to Alaska in June and then Rita being interviewed June 16 and 20.

A successful search warrant means enough probable cause was found for the warrant and then likely some important evidence was discovered. Not enough for arrests, but enough for DeWine to issue the laser focus the following month. Also the Wagners tripped themselves up in lies in their interviews according to Reader: "all the lies they told us."
