I have a lot of questions as well. As for Jake feeling remorse, that's not a question that I have. I think he's sorry that he got caught and was facing the death penalty, so he decided to save himself by offering info and arranging a plea deal to take the death penalty off the table for himself. That's JMO. I do remember very well how he did an online fund-raiser to try to financially benefit himself after the murders he committed. He even advertised his fundraiser in an interview and it was like "golly gee shucks" and that he should have never had to bear the extraordinarily high legal expenses to get custody of his child. What an incredible piece of work.

One question I have is if BW, AW or GW4 decide not to try to arrange a plea deal, or if the prosecution refuses to offer a plea deal, they would go to trial and would face the death penalty. Am I correct on that?

I also hope we learn more on the family dynamics that created what came to be with the W's. A few years ago, a psychologist wrote a book about Scott Peterson's family history and dynamics. The Petersons appeared to be the Brady Bunch on the outside, but the real story of the family was beyond bizarre and it went a long way in explaining Scott Peterson, IMO. In other families the, "it" began many generations earlier. Certain things/events can impact generations of a family and in some cases, the only members of the family who survive the crazy are the ones who recognize the crazy and get far away from their family. As far as AW, she was clearly attracted to BW and she didn't run screaming from him or his mother. The old saying "water seeks its equal level" may apply to her. IDK. Just a theory.

part of JW’s plea deal is to spare all 4 of the Ws in doing so he will truthfully testify in each of their cases.

Kind of a combination of Johnny Cash and a grown up version of Eddie Munster - lol!

Eddie Munster is exactly what I thought! :D

Wasn't there some vehicle evidence from WV State Police?

The red Chevy truck makes sense, would be just like a W to put that truck in JM's hands.

In case you missed my post. This is a comprehensive summary. You can read along as you listen to the video of the hearing.

Thank you GoofyJen for doing that. We really appreciate it. Thanks for bringing it forward, too.

So I take 2 easy days and come back to catch up and Wow.

I never thought Jake would give up, he seemed so adamant.

Great news and maybe a tiny step forward for the families to get the justice they've waited all this time for.

Back to catching up.

I don't know about the vehicles, that is a real mystery.

My best guess would be in WVa. or KY.

Just a guess

Regarding the weapons, Jk may hav kept them for future use, should W's need to kill again...

Are you sure "vehicles" mean cars/trucks?

TY TY TY I forgot bout those other vehicles...

One time when I was driving around and traveled to UHR, one of those vehicles pulled out of ..John Ward Rd right in front of me.

In my opinion when it comes all out there might be some ATVs involved, JMO

What a relief for the victims families...this day has finally come...There are still so many unanswered questions that we will probably never know the how's and why's. I am sure the W's never dreamed they would be caught and death penalty to boot. I think Jake may have more remorse for his own family and feels he can save them..who knows..so many questions...would love to see FW go before a camera now..also would like to know what is in the sealed documents filed with the Court.. My opinion only

So the autopsy reports we be held up until the last conviction, IMO
Angela Wagner was really worried about the pictures of the crime scene and the autopsy report being showed at trial, that would show the world what kind of Monster they are, JMO

One question to you Sleuthers:
From now on will we see Mr Edward Jake Wagner in jail garment and chains???? JMO

It appears the court must have granted JW permission to wear these particular street clothes in court even when jurors are not present.

Perhaps we'll continue to see him in this uniform until he's sentenced. Or maybe he'll even get a new shirt when he's testifying against the others.

From the Columbus Dispatch linked earlier:

As the hearing began, Wagner was dressed in the blue jeans and a black long-sleeved shirt that he has been allowed to wear into court after being transferred from the Franklin County jail, where he has been held for security.

Oh yes, those sealed documents. Me too. I want to know.
Anyone know the prerequisites for a document to be sealed? There must be a very strong reason for that.

Jeff Ruby cites reasoning for pulling $25K reward in family massacre

Ruby originally cited "complex criminal developments" as the reason for withdrawing his reward and involvement.

Later he tweeted that he did not want to attach his family name to the case by chance the Cartel is involved.

That's what RUBY said just after the murders.
He might have a different story now that the real truth is starting to come out.
No-one to be afraid of now.

The uneasiness is fading as we see the Wagner's facing LWOP.
Next comes the "How on earth did this even happen?" phase begins.
Cancelled sleepovers, Kenny's death, Gary's death, Involvement of other parties in major or minor roles, The red truck, Money at Kenny's feet, Getting past the dogs, all beg for explanation.

2 Things I would like to ask you Sluthers:
#1= What the He11 did Jake find so funny when Judge Deering ask him how plea on the murders of Hanna May Rhodens, Dana Rhodens and Hannah Hazel Gilley?
#2=Do you Sluthers think that Angela Wagner is sick and needs special treatment is the reason Jake confessed?

1. I don’t think he was laughing. I think he was grimacing trying to keep from crying.

2. No.

That thing does say - 1 vehicle
Surely not just 1 four wheeler.

That's what RUBY said just after the murders.
He might have a different story now that the real truth is starting to come out.
No-one to be afraid of now.

Ruby offered $25,000 reward for the details leading to the conviction of the killer or killers in the Pike County massacre.

After it was revealed that several commercial marijuana growing operations were found on the Rhoden property, many -- including LE, feared the murders were tied to the cartel.

When Ruby learned of the discovery of the growing operation, and potential ties to the cartel, he retracted his reward citing he didn't want to attach his family name to the case by chance the cartel is involved.

I don't understand why OP believes Ruby would have a different story as to why he withdrew his reward now that Jake Wagner confessed and will be convicted for the murders.

Jake wouldn't be able to claim any reward for coming forwrd with the details for the murder.

Unless I somehow missed some hidden detail, and/or unless one doesn't believe Jake or the other Wagners are responsible for the murders and the real killer(s) are still running loose, I think talk of the reward (retracted) is moot.

MOO

Jake told Canepa and Canepa told the Court.

Late on the 21st and early on the 22nd.

You know what this means?
I think it is the reason Chris was killed before the others.

They killed Chris late on the 21st but then realized Dana wasn't home yet. She worked an extra shift and didn't leave work until 11:30 pm.

Then she had to drive home and then they had to wait for her to get ready for bed.

By the time they got to Dana's - in the early hours of the 22nd - Chris had been dead for maybe a couple hours which explains more decomp.

While waiting at Chris's for Dana to get home Gary comes home. Then they move the bodies because they are not finished yet, they don't need someone coming over and noticing the bodies, that's probably why they locked the door when BJM said it's not normally locked.

It's possible they were caught off guard with Dana coming home so late. I don't think they had planned to sit around waiting at Chris's house but had no choice.

Just how it looks to me now.
On DR's route home from the nursing home, would she have driven by CRsr's home?
