Wonder just how long JW has been cooperating? That might have been the push behind the civil case. JW started talking and giving up physical evidence and TR knew then he would have a civil case in the bag for those kids!

Agree. My reply started out to be simply a geographical answer, meaning no, DR by way of driving straight home, DR need not pass CR.
Yes, she may have been checking on CR and FR place, so maybe she did drive by, ( for reasons as you suggest) but that would not have taken much extra time. I was trying to add my personal knowledge of the lay out of UHR and the time frame for driving end to end.

I've forgotten more than I remember about all of this. Is there any independent proof Jake picked up SW before the murders? Could it be they took SW after they committed the murders at DRs place?

Well that is an interesting comment from his attorney. It sounds very much like he would be willing to plea as well. Not at all firm as I would have imagined!

Not impossible, but making a suppressor that interchanges with other calibers creates a few problems. Number one being a suppressor fitting a large caliber and used on a smaller caliber would be less effective at reducing noise, sort of like an exhaust leak on your car.

Maybe they suppressed the .30 cal. and 9mm, leaving the .22 without one?

I'll never forget how when suppressors were brought up, the same voices were right on it saying it wasn't a James Bond movie.

If this is an area where hunting would be common maybe some shots would not be suspicious, but having multiple shots from different guns would definitely raise an alarm for even those living in a rural area.

What a great outcome for the families in so many ways. Their family and deceased loved ones won't be subjected to the wagners slander and evil in open court. The criminal justice system gives so many advantages for murders to skate punishment but the wagners won't be one of them. No more conspiracy or denial from fw. Her blatant support of these murderers who were known yo her! will hopefully liquidated her assest and the rhoden gilley's take that farm! Not that it will bring them back but all of these evils are gonna have their reckoning.
Angela canepa is really a hero more like her could make world better place. She lived this case and never wavered. Even with all the free top notch dp lawyers she held her own. Thank god ohio has death penalty and the leverage it applies. In no dps dtates there is little to no advantage of pleading out. But with dp there is huge incentive to cooperate. And jake broke first. I don't for one second believe that little I'm very sorry for what I did that JW spewed unsolicited (in error to a question the judge was asking him). Did you see his eyes every time he looked out into the audience, dead eyes. I think something bad already happened to him in prison.

I think there might be an unofficial agreement as to who's going to be his cell mate from now on. He'll have a little more freedom being off of death row. I'm thinking general population is a much scarier place than were he's been held. He got something besides life for spilling his guts, giving them the location of the murder weapons and vehicles. AJMO

Gotcha. Do you know if the homemade suppressors could be used for multiple shots? I am surprised there were more guns than suppressors. Did I understand that correctly?

There were three suppressors but one didn’t work right or was made wrong. One was found burned and in a cistern, I think.

These suppressors were made for more than one shot through them. The baffling was car engine freeze plugs. They would attach to more than one gun if the threads on the barrel were the same. The baffles are only about 1/32”-1/16” bigger than the bullet. You could use one on a smaller caliber gun but not larger, but doing so it would be louder.

We discussed suppressors and laser sights very early on. A laser sight, if used, would require very little ambient light to aim precisely. The bullet hits the red dot projected...

Interesting that Chris Graves says Hannas friends implied Jake was physically abusive towards her. If she had listened to AC's Other Acts statement she read a couple weeks ago, she would know Jake's violence against Hanna was fact.

He did this in an interview and followed up with he reckoned they missed it by hours. IIRC, Angela later changed Jake's story about picking up the little girl that night. I saw AW's "correction" as a big red flag and that Jake had gotten sloppy and he forgot about the agreed-upon W story of when the little girl went to stay with the W's.

I've not seen anything that there is independent proof he picked up the little girl that night. JMO, I think he did go there to get the little girl and that may have resulted in a very upset HR calling DR at work. This is just my speculation. I'm not sure if we will ever learn these kinds of details, but to me, it fits. JMO

Yes, this is probably one of the top 10 questions most people would like answered. I have a hunch we will find out the first story is right.

Its amazing how well the prosecution has kept the facts of the cases so well hidden for so long.

Yes they still can. FW's case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning Its only dismissed temporarily.

RN has signed a plea agreement, but its contingent on her assisting the prosecution.

Yes. There are still details to be worked out, but the DP is off the table for all of them. Thats contingent on him testifying against them at their trials.

I did just find the attached. It appears that in exchange for Jake's admission of guilt, agreement to testify against his family and providing additional information, the prosecution agreed to drop the DP on all four cases.
