Where did you read that they started shooting at CRsr from the porch?

It looks this way to me from the ballistics evidence. Why is there a bullet casing of theirs on the porch and a bullet under the house? They had no reason to shoot when they left the house so it would be as they were coming in on the porch.

Chris had flood lights that could have gone off, and surveillance mounted on a building outside that would have warned him.

So he opened the door and the Wagners were on the porch and fired at him.
This explains why he was shot in the torso and why there was so much blood "everywhere" in the living room when BJM walked in. Blood gushing from the torso fits BJM's description.

I recall someone in authority say about CRSr "He saw them coming." (I think it was Gov DeWine during a news interview long ago?) Do you remember than, CC? Does anyone else remember that statement?
When I heard that I always wondered what action CRSr took if he saw them coming. I assumed it was "them" approaching his front door but that wasn't stated officially.

I feel differently about George. I don't believe he cares for his son anymore than Jake cares for SW, or BW and AW care for them. He didn't take part in this because he had to. He played his part, just like they all did. I see no force or coercing going on. If he really loved his son so much he wouldn't have done what he did to his child's mother. He would know that not having a loving mother in the child's life was a huge detriment. He definitely wouldn't have went along with his boy calling his mom "Mom". He wouldn't have played his part in the murders. He would have put his son first. Like any normal parent He never did. He put himself and "the family" first every day of is life. Him saying and writing a comment on Facebook that he loves his son means nothing. The actions are all that count. He is not the normal one in that group. None of them are normal.

I said he wanted to raise his son, not that he has his son's best interests at heart, not that he really loves his son, he doesn't know what the true meaning of that word is.

Why wouldn't someone so obsessed with custody and control over his son not want to keep custody and raise him?

Look at the great lengths he took to get custody, then the plot to keep the mom from regaining her custody, not to mention threatening to kill her scaring her off and having her sign documents under false pretenses.

He controlled every aspect of the child's life, the mom had no say. He so wanted to have %100 of the control that he tried to wipe the mother off the planet by substituting Angela as his mother.

George said on Facebook:

"He's my whole world." Not that he loved him.

Excellent post! My feelings entirely. I sincerely believe all four Ws pulled triggers and, like everything else, they did all the murders Together. Just because Jake owned the .22 doesn't mean he didn't pass it to each of the others to take their turn. Vice versa with the other guns. We need to remember all four are charged equally except for Count 23, which only applied to Jake. Even the grandmothers and "unknown" and "John Doe" is listed in at least one charge. My opinion only.

Yes I did read in MSM that "he saw them coming or knew they were coming or was aware they were coming."

No doubt because the MO is different with him than with the others.

Why a different MO?
Because he saw them coming, he was awake, not in bed like the others.

That's why (opinion) they shot from the porch when he opened the door, that's why he had shots to his Torso and extremities and not just to his head like all the others.

Seems obvious to me but it's just my own point of view from the evidence and facts that we have learned. Others will see it their own way.

I don't recall LM saying those things about CRJR. I don't remember GR being found on the sofa either. I have followed this case since the live coverage on the day the bodies were discovered, as this happened 2 counties from where I live. <modsnip> I guess what I am asking is if we are stating things as "We know xyz... ", are we sure that we know some of these things?

I remember LM saying they came out saying they couldn't find Chris JR and he told them to go back in and look again. That was from the first day coverage. First reports coming out that day was Chris JR was missing. LM told the reporters he told LE to look again and IIRC he said Chris JR was between the bed and wall.

No links, just my memory which could be faulty. Does anyone else remember it that way?

As Dewine said, they were "obsessed with the control of children." We're seeing that more and more in the findings and in my opinion, we ain't seen nothing yet."

Yes, just like his brother. And their parents. They all wanted control. They all wanted custody. They all wanted to raise the kids. All obsessed with control and custody. They all know that no matter what happens now, none of them will have any control or part in the lives of the kids. Jake didn't confess because he suddenly felt bad. There was something in it for him. The rest will fall or fold in time because they have no solid ground to stand on. GW might go to trial, but it won't be because he thinks he might regain some of that control with his kid. They all know this.

Thank you for responding back CC!

... And maybe that was the door that CRSr was "shot through." The front door. I always assumed it was in inside door but maybe not.

I think we have gotton to what he described as bizarre.

Having the 2 children actually think Angela is their mom, not grandma, mom. Note that Jake already had a wife who wanted to mother his child, note Angela was jealous of her, didn't want her to be called mom.

Note George's child already had a biological mom who tried desperately to see him, note Angela threatened to shoot her meaning she wanted her dead and totally out of the picture.

You know they had a plot. To keep the mother from getting any type of custody they kept the mom away from him for a year (think AK) then they were going to claim abandonment on her part. They almost never let her visit him and on the rare occasions they did, it was supervised by them.

This is the most controlling family I have ever had the displeasure of knowing about.

BJM didn't say anything about the door so this is why I suspect after they shot Chris from the porch Chris made it to the bedroom to get a gun, to get away, to protect himself and they continued shooting right through that door. They left him in the bedroom, killed Gary in the LR, then dragged and dumped Gary on Chris's legs.....this is how it looks to me like it played out.

I remember it exactly that way. That first morning of continuing news coverage seems to have stuck fast with some of us. LM must have been functioning on nothing but adrenaline, the poor man. He managed to hold himself together and talk with reporters that morning and for some days afterwards, too. LM represented the family that lost so much life that day and still, even while he was talking that first day, he had not learned yet that KR was gone, too. The family went to the church nearby as a group. It's beyond my ability to know how they all have managed to persevere the way they have. Five years of waiting for justice...

ETA: I had to copy and paste the comment I was referring to. Hitting "REPLY" would not produce the comment.

I remember it well...for a bit LE & others thought he may have been in the woods (as in running away from the home)...& I believe his school shut down for a couple of hours or so because he wasn't found, & they thought he may have been involved (not as a victim). I've been trying to find the early info given, but like you all, it's all gone

Being by the bed still fits Scheiderer's and Canepa's narrative that those at Dana's were in bed when shot. Jake shot him 2X's in the top of his head so Jake could have pushed him or his body recoiled and fell off. If he was on the edge of the bed already then falling off the bed would be normal....Happens alot from what I have seen about various cases, take Betty Broderick's husband for example.

2 cents

Yikes...I didn't mean that you all are gone, I meant that much of the early info is gone- so sorry!

Yes, I agree. I am remembering now it was a door in the hallway that was shot through. CRSr was found by LE in a room down that hallway, IIRC. I remember thinking CRSr must have been trying to get to a gun even while he was being shot at.

If it helps I remember that statement as well. Made my blood run cold. Seems to me they killed the men first. As cowards would they used the element of surprise to take care of anyone who posed a physical threat. If pressed my guess is the order went KR,CRS,GR,FR leaving just the women with children and a 16 year old boy. Again all in the name of self preservation. Thought they were smarter and badder than all the rest. Guess they were mistaken...

I remember it exactly the same way you do. If memory serves the high school attended by CRJ was on lockdown briefly while his whereabouts were still unknown. Does anyone else remember that detail?
