Don’t all this hard work these attorneys are doing and all the money tax payers are spending just to protect a piece of crap that came in the dark like monster and killed 8 innocent people for the only reasons is that the Wagners could not bully a little 19 year old girl around so they took the cowardly way out and just killed her and her family to make sure the Rhodens didn’t come after them! So I ask you Sleuthers WHY? Billy Wagner, Angela Wagner, George Wagner iv and Jake Wagner is not worth the time and effort that Defense team is going through, JMO

JAKE WAGNER HAS ALREADY TOLD ALL OF US THAT HIM AND HIS FAMILY KILLED THE RHODENS , EYE FOR AN EYE, JMO
Let the coward Billy Wagner pay for his crime, I can see what he is trying to do, he is trying to full the court system again, it’s time to show BW that the courts are tired of him, JMO
You ask why? Because it is their constitutional right.

"The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay, the right to a lawyer, the right to an impartial jury, and the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you."

we might not like when it comes to the Wagner’s. This is the USA.

So true. I definitely don't like it.

I find it so frustrating that the W4 can't be dealt with in the same fashion they treated the 8 victims in the Rhoden, Manley and Gilley families. I can't even begin to fathom the frustration the surviving loved ones must feel, going on five and a half years now with no resolution to the remaining three W4 members' cases.

In mentioning the surviving loved ones, something occurred to me today. I often think of/mention words of support for the Rhoden, Manley and Gilley families in a post, but I tend to overlook a very important surviving loved one who isn't in one of those three families--HMR's fiance. I'm sure this has been quite an emotional hardship for him, too.

By the way, sorry JBB for my double post to you above. I don't have the "edit" link to click on for either of those posts so I can delete one!

I am glad the Wagners are getting such a good defense. Their attorneys are doing a good job for them.

Why am I glad?

Well if they plead guilty they can't appeal but if they go to trial and lose they can appeal and often on appeals
the lack of sufficient counsel comes up.

Guilty verdicts have been overturned due to problematic representation.

Can you imagine George being found guilty then wins his appeal on lack of sufficient counsel then the State of Ohio has to do his trial all over again?

Note that Deering always asks if the Wagner defendants are seeing their attorneys enough and if they have any concerns to bring up, something to that effect.

Thread 48, page 38, post 750 has a link to HR's Instagram page. Going to that link, in the third row of photos is a picture of her engagement ring from CH in a blue box. I think there may also be pics on her Facebook page, but I am not certain. JMO

Graves: My wish for the Rhoden babies

Link is to Chris Graves' article with pictures from the hospital of HR after KR's birth. The photo isn't the easiest to see, but if you look at her left hand you can see the engagement ring. Some of the darkness around the ring's band may be from the matching tattoo that she and JW got; but if you look closely, right between the first and second joints of her pinky finger, you can see the setting with the stones in it. If you click the link and go directly to the article, the picture may be a little clearer. JMO

If you go to DR page there are a couple pics you can find of HR with a ring on that finger. One was at the shower and another besides the one you posted when she was in hospital having the baby.

You hit the nail on the head . When Deering asks them that I smile. Because I know that’s what he is doing .

So Jake's confession and disclosure of evidence has torpedoed alot of defense strategy I can imagine.

How bout any of the attorneys wanting to place blame on some sort of drug gang or Cartel? Well according to Jake it was him and his family who did it not anyone else.

Billy's is another defense strategy Jake torpedoed with his confession and disclosure of hidden evidence:

Billy Wagner's attorney questions the use and analysis of shell casings found at the scene that were linked to shell casings found later on Billy Wagner's property.

Wagner's attorney maintains they can't be linked without the gun, which the prosecution doesn't have.

Oops -

He also said they could have been compromised by being out in the elements for more than a year.

Billy Wagner to return to Pike County court

You wrote what I was trying to say a few post back, I’m sorry Sleuthers if you took my post as meaning that the Wagners should get a un-fair trial, yes the Wagners deserves Fair and Justification trials, but what I’m saying is that Jake Wagner got the death penalty took away from his family by admitting guilt, and it is not good enough for Billy and GW4, so I say if those two don’t like the deal and want a fair trial than let the death penalty go back against those two if they loose, JMO

I think everyone knows what you mean.

I don't think that getting the DP off the table is enough for George and Billy. They want to get acquitted and George wants to go back to taking his son away from his son's real mother and Billy wants to go back to his old room at FWF to live off of his mother. According to his Bond Motion, to be the caretaker of FWF.

Angela is just biding time until she gets to be the mama of a group of women in State prison. The women tend to form family groups and Angela was made to be a mother of one of those groups. All in my point of view.

Wow thanks this should be discussed more. Would be a major blow to jake seeing that ring and he would have seen it at hospital seeing baby. I wonder if the ring was still with hanna after she was brutally murdered by the wagner crime family

Jake Wagner pleads guilty after GW4 attorneys puts all the blame on Jake and Angela, so who’s going to blame who next???

  • #477
You ask why? Because it is their constitutional right.

AMEN, thanks to both you and Dudley for keeping this important Amendment in the forefront. ;)

Jake will still get the blame only this time for being a voracious liar.

(See George's Motion below)

Supposedly Jake could be suffering from serious mental illness enough to affect his credibility. He may have:

Memory deficits, magical thinking, blurring of reality and fantasy, and projection of blame onto others.

His mental deficits could affect his ability to observe, narrate, and remember.

Mental illness is especially important when a witness has exhibited a pronounced disposition to lie or hallucinate or suffered from a severe illness...that dramatically impaired their ability to preceive and tell the truth.

Edward Jake Wagner had previously given recorded statements denying involvement in these murders and then admitted in open court his guilt. At the very least, this demonstrates a pronounced disposition to lie.

In this case the defense believes at the very least that Edward suffered a serious head injury as a child that required hospital care that likely is relevant to his mental health. Also, the records prepared in mitigation for Edward in this case likely also have evidence that impugns Edward's credibility.

Every now and then someone writes that LWOP is a good alternative to DP.
Put them in and let them rot! They will never get out. No way!

The way.

Robert F. Kennedy's assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, was granted parole by a California board Friday after spending more than 50 years in prison after two of his sons said they support his release, a decision that still needs to be approved by the governor.

Sirhan gunned down Kennedy, then a Democratic U.S. senator from New York and brother of President John F. Kennedy, in 1968 at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles moments after Kennedy delivered a victory speech in the pivotal California primary. Sirhan was convicted of first-degree murder.

The Truth About Life Without Parole: Condemned to Die in Prison | ACLU of Northern CA
Death in prison is a certain sentence: Prisoners are not released early
No one sentenced to life without parole has ever been released on parole, in California or in any other state. Prisoners sentenced to LWOP actually remain in prison for the rest of their lives and die in prison.

What is Life Without Parole? | LegalMatch.
What is Life without Parole?
Life without parole is defined as a person spending the rest of their life in prison. The criminal sentence does not include an option for parole.
****************************************************************************

Sirhan did not get LWOP he got LIFE so it's normal to come up for parole. Like the Manson murderers his death sentence was commuted to LIFE. To LIFE - not to LWOP. This is why the Manson defendants keep coming up for parole.

You do not get parole when your sentence is LWOP.

No Wagner will walk out of prison. 8 murders 8 life sentences, 60 years for 14 other felony charges, no parole for any Wagner.

A life sentence = you can come up for parole

A sentence of LWOP = you will not come up for parole

Jake's attorney in court QUOTE: "He knows he will die in prison."
