This might have been their very original plan and story, concocted at the original summit at FW's home, before they were arrested. The W4 might have agreed to a story back before they were arrested. They would all corroborate the story JW and AW told, so that G4 would be free to aide and abet them in a prison break or in a revenge plan.
IMO, if that was the master plan, it might be going very sideways right now....
If JW and AW's proffers turn out to be not truthful, the whole deal to get the DP off the table for the others will be invalid too.
IMO, they are playing with fire, but that's never seemed to bother them before...
I don't think they had a story for confession and guilt I think their only story was just to deny everything, to not admit any guilt at all.
They did not have their stories straight about the shoes, they were caught off guard, why? Because their plan I believe was simply to deny deny deny and deflect.
It was the Cartel, it was the Manleys, it was tips Billy was trying to give, it was people FW was trying to point to, it was monsters, they are being harrassed, they are being falsely made out as suspects, they cry over dogs and are salt of the earth country people so they couldn't have done it, everything was fine with custody, there were no problems between Hanna and Jake, FW considered them married and Angie thought of Hanna as her daughter.
This was their story. This is the story they stuck to..... UNTIL .......
Jake threw a wrench into their story by snitching and telling about what really happened that night and his information reflects the evidence BCI collected.
Jake's gun information matches the ballistic evidence BCI collected.
BCI found Jake's vehicle information to be solid.
And I think Jake gave true testimony about the:
Timeline that fits along with where they were that night.
Murder kit purchases.
What was found on the family laptop fitting the admitted spying and motive.
Suppressor in the well matching other evidence.
Buried evidence in buckets matching Jake's description of what was used and stolen that night.
All this BCI evidence dovetails with Jake's Testimony.
Angie had no chance to discuss any of this "guilty" "real" "true" "after arrest" information with Jake, she was swimming blind. Now her Testimony lines up with Jake's. This means her information also lines up with BCI's information and the evidence they obtained.
If anything, I think facts could have been left out but the Testimony given by both of them is likely quite accurate.
