Just as interesting will be Billy's next hearing on Nov. 15. He lost his argument that he should have his DP dropped regardless of how Jake testifies at trial. He's on his own now and could end up getting the DP if he chooses to go to trial.

Is that the latest argument George's defense is floating? Is this going to be the subject of his next motion?

Conspiracy is easy to prove in his case.

• Loaning or using his weapon to help kill at least one of the victims - check
• Helping break into the residences - check
• Helping destroy and hide evidence of the crimes - check
• Helped watch for police or witnesses driving by during the crimes - check
• Helped disable security cameras and remove the equipment from the scenes - check
• Helped take victims cell phones and removed them from the scenes - check

Nash must be really worried about George going to trial. He's flailing about desperately trying to minimize his involvement before the trial.

BBM, I agree. I am hoping his attorney will keep getting shot down with these ridiculous flurries of motions, crying wolf and trying to get GW4 tried in the media then give in and accept defeat, accepting a plea change with sentence of LWOP.

Something has really been weighing heavily on me since AW's plea change; and that is how hard it will be on Ms. Geneva physically to keep attending hearing after hearing, let alone one or two lengthy trials. It is so hard for her to climb all those steps into the courthouse. Even if there is an elevator inside the building to get to the floor where the courtroom is located, there's still a lot of walking for her to do. I'm not sure if she's missed any hearings to date. If so, it couldn't be more than one or two IMO.

I am sure if GW4 and/or BW go to trial she will not want to miss one second of testimony. Heaven knows how emotionally taxing a trial would be on all of the surviving loved ones, but adding all those daily trips in and out of the courthouse will make things even harder for Ms. Geneva IMO. Just makes me want to cry thinking about it. I'm just not sure how she would hold up physically if these last two monsters go to trial.

This whole process will continue to be hard on the Rhoden, Manley and Gilley families. It seems Ms. Geneva has had a difficult time attending the hearings. She has missed some recently and during a few others, she watched via video link from a conference room (I think) on the first floor of the courthouse.

Everyone has a right to a fair trial, but it would be unfair, JMO, if George and his attorneys start abusing the process.

I really like Betty's comment regarding g4s lawyer. It seems murder is easier to commit then ever but getting a conviction is more difficult. The system is totally skewed towards the murderer there are so many technicalities at their disposal. Overall our society has become numb to human suffering. Always a reason expla,action excuse for those who take a life. It all boils down to arrogance and narcisim . These animals think they can play God their lives are of so much importance they are allowed to kill anyone who cause them inconvenience. The media from the first minute of coverage has been brutal to this family. 5 given plea bargains to the 2 central murderers and not printed any outrage
6 given g4s lawyer free range to spew lies and downplay executing an entire family under supposed gag order. Is tgere a judge in this courtroom??

I'm pretty sure The Prosecuters or Court staff would help in assisting Ms. Geneva up in a lift, (if available) if no lift available we'll, JMO but I'm sure help would be at hand to make sure she is taken upstairs to Court.

The courtroom is not on the first floor, there are at least 2 flights of steps to get there. I saw a Twitter post of Miss Geneva coming up to the top of that last flight with her family helping her, would post it if I could find it.

I found this upsetting to read, not for me, but for Ms. Geneva. She has given her all to all her family members and in a few short hours late on the evening of April 22 and early hours of April 23 2016 she had dearly loved family taken from her. Her heart was crushed and broken. JMO but I imagine she has wept many tears over missed Birthdays, Christmas, and the Anniversaries of the deaths of her loved ones. Yes, it's Ms. Geneva that I weep for.

Her other children have really rallied around her! This gives me some comfort. Her children being there for her.

I look back at Junk and Canepa with the families and I can't picture them wanting to give George a plea - dropping the murder charges - if the families didn't want that.

I believe that Junk and Canepa are there for the families and will do anything they can for them to get justice and this means fighting for what the families want.

Thanks for that article. Interesting and sickening at the same time. There are some youtube videos by attorneys explaining complicity in Ohio if you are interested. Not sure they are allowed here.
