This morning Canepa argued these guns can be tied to G4 via recordings to be introduced later.
I hope so. Hopefully junk's 15 min will be over as well. I can't help it, I do not care for him. I don't have to, but man o
but they are not the murder guns, so what is the relevance?
Some jurors are probably asking themselves the same. (I'd be one) Others maybe not. Interesting tactic.

Defense is going to argue that the gun list was a wish list, prosecution wants to prove it's an ownership list.

Edit: Then ... alas, the murder weapons are nowhere to be found with the other guns. Then later, two of the murder guns are found encased in concrete.

I was under the impression that they went in, around Father's Day of 2016. JW (iirc) stated that he and GW4 built a goose box for their grandpa and anchored it with concrete filled buckets, with the firearm pieces and parts. He led authorities to them.
Bet that made grandpappy proud.

As a juror I would want to know what guns they had both before and after the murders.

A plus would be finding guns that were on their list... at the bottom of a pond in concrete. After the murders.

I wonder if JW does not testify to the states satisfaction and the DP comes back into play how that works, as GW jury is not DP qualified so he will have to have a new trial with a jury DP qualified, JW will have to have a trial to assertain his guilt then a penalty phase, as his whole plea agreement will be thrown out so his guilty pleas will also go

how then do they proceed with AW if she fulfills her part of plea deal, her 30 years must then stand, so only JW BW and GW would have to have capital trials

Do we have any clue as to where the murder guns were kept/stored before they went into the pond?
And approx. when did they go into the pond?
I think the Wagner's had a time crunch and held on to their weapons or put them in the truck, then that night ditched them at FWF. I don't think they ditched them later at FWF, on a different night, because they knew an investigation would start that following morning.

They had no idea if they would be searched that morning.

Good explanation. Prosecution wants to prove the murder weapons are just that by showing they were on a list of weapons the Wagners already owned. George lied about the list, knowing the list had some guns used in the murders.

The only worry I would have is about multiple trials and the money that would be needed. The entire country is cash/money strapped it seems.

I would be for sure and I would likely be angry that in 5 weeks, no evidence against George has been presented. Stop wasting our time with all this garbage meant to confuse the issues, and hide the fact that they have no real evidence.

OK, I get the thinking. Thanks.

Oh wow! I don't know how the state of Ohio can afford another trial of this caliber.

On cross Parker establishes rooms A, J and D are bedrooms where evidence was seized. BCI agent does not know whose room is whose. All on first floor of FWF home.

I know for a fact larger counties (counties with a larger budget) in Ohio have passed on the DP because they deemed it too expensive. It's a shame too. One case I know in particular keeps coming up for parole and family has to keep up with it.

Wonder why Junk is doing this direct today so many weeks into the trial. I've never heard him speak before.

Where does this information come from?

If this is true then Jake just again implicated George in the murders - in disposing evidence. George would know they were getting rid of the firearm pieces and parts.

Interesting evidence implicating George. George is very knowledgeable about firearm pieces and parts.
