Oh, my mistake. I was thinking of the murder night. My apologies.Yes but thats the night of the murder , does anything put him in the house on the 6th
No worries sometimes these threads flip from one topic to another.Oh, my mistake. I was thinking of the murder night. My apologies.
I know it is a lot of money. But I think most people do not understand the tremendous fan base of Buckeye fans in Columbus. People will save all year to get tickets if need be. And when the team is doing really well, the price of tickets skyrockets.I just looked it up online. Those tickets were going for an average of $1800 to $2500 and higher. Plus hotel, food, etc. Prices after the Mich game win skyrocketed.
Absolutely. He planned this double murder ahead of time in great detail. He actually thought he would get away with it.His actions screams prior calculation and design in his planning of committing premeditated murder.
Perhaps he thought he could talk his way out of everything. Narcissists believe they are the smartest ones in the room. And they are good at covering their tracks. It seems so odd that he would try to evade detection with license plate changes and leaving his phone behind but also somehow threaten Monique or upset her enough that she left the game early. Why bother with license plates, wait nearly a decade, or higher a high profile attorney when there's a trail of threats and stalking? He must have known he would be named and caught. It's so illogical.
I agree and don't think I've ever seen a backyard fence without a gate. There's a gate. You can see the hinges.

ETA - I've seen a better pic of that gate and hinges but it's from an unapproved site so this'll have to be JMO that those are hinges.
I'm not entirely confident we have the full story on the reason Monique left the game that night - I look forward to those details coming out. Until then, I'm not speculating as to what it may have been.It seems so odd that he would try to evade detection with license plate changes and leaving his phone behind but also somehow threaten Monique or upset her enough that she left the game early. It’s true, we dont really know, just is so coincidental that she left the game upset allegedly at the ex, and the ex was there that day. We dont even have time frames so never know. I cannot wait to find out tho.I'm not entirely confident we have the full story on the reason Monique left the game that night - I look forward to those details coming out. MM never thought he would be seriously looked at for the murders - it's really that simple. In his head, when weighing the risk factors, he rationalized them away. It's likely he was much more fixated on fantasizing what thier reaction to him appearing in their bedroom would be - the fear, what he would say, what they might say, how it would feel to be in complete control.
IMO, we'll never know all the details in this case, he'll take it all to the grave. I don't see MM ever telling a cellmate the chilling details of the murders. I also don't think he regrets what he did.
It’s possible whatever he did on Dec 6 he did not think he was seen. That’s why I’m thinking it’s likely a neighbor saw him snooping around, didn’t know who he was but texted Monique “hey I just wanted to let you know I saw some guy outside your house/in the back yard for a while” — she would have known in her gut it was him which would have been upsetting enough to leave the Big 10 championship game early IMO.It seems so odd that he would try to evade detection with license plate changes and leaving his phone behind but also somehow threaten Monique or upset her enough that she left the game early. Yes, even if all he said was; “ hey are you guys around? Theres a guy thats been sitting in your yard looks like hes waiting for you, want me to tell him you're away?” She probably said take a picture of him and he could have even sent a screenshot. I’m not sure someone simply running into him would’ve been enough to cause MT to leave the game early. It might be as simple as someone texted to say they ran into him in Columbus.? If it was a direct threat then surely he knew he would get caught even though he may have felt his status provided a mask. Sounds like within 24 hours they had their man with no doubts.
I agree, it is not likely MM will give an honest report of events.I'm not entirely confident we have the full story on the reason Monique left the game that night - I look forward to those details coming out. Until then, I'm not speculating as to what it may have been.

I suspect someone knows why Monique went back to the hotel. I think that she would call someone like her mother or sister and talk about what was so upsetting that she left the game.I'm not entirely confident we have the full story on the reason Monique left the game that night - I look forward to those details coming out. Until then, I'm not speculating as to what it may have been.
