Where were these teenager's parents? They gave the children car keys, but they didn't provide enough guidance to give them any values? The parents completely failed their children and now an athlete, who obviously had good values, is dead. It's unbelievable.

Apparently one or all of them had rough lives. Jail, problems with the law, behavior, etc. It's starting to come out now. The media will start reporting it.

Their social media (can't see much of the oldest one's) is sickening. Especially when you consider their ages. And it's not "hidden" social media. It's fb, twitter and instragram. No excuse for this. And definitely no excuse for the parents saying they didn't know. If *I* can find it, they could easily have as well. jmo

I keep wondering how the 17 year old (MJ) gets off as an accessory, but the passenger (Edwards) gets charged the same as the shooter (Luna).

It just dawned on me... Le said a shotgun was found in the car, they're looking for the handgun, yada yada. However, I wonder if the shotgun that was recovered from their car is the same one Edwards is waving around in his Vine video & on his Facebook pictures AND I wonder if the handgun they're looking for is the same one shown on his bed in a pic on his FB page & in his cover photo on his Twitter page...

I'll bet the guns belonged to Edwards & that's why he got a murder 1 charge instead of an accessory charge like MJ. Kinda makes sense if so, even though I think they should ALL be charged with murder in the 1st.

Probably. There also could be problems proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Jones knew what was going to go down ahead of time. Video could show otherwise, but maybe it's inconclusive about what he knew beforehand. I know they have video of what happened after, but maybe not clear evidence of Jones driving the car while the other two were getting in with guns that he had to have seen and known what they were for. There also may be some evidence of coercion. Would you want to tell lilbuggy and babydrake no if they had guns in their hands? I wouldn't! jmo

Idk, I'd never allow myself to be in that kind of position. I'd rather drive the gun wielding thugs into a brick wall. Better than helping them kill an innocent person IMO.

On Edwards' FB, there's a pic of a bunch of guys sitting on stairs giving hand symbols. One of the people look like MJ, looks a lot like him actually. Maybe there is truth to Ms Luna's reference to them wanting to be in a wannabe gang or something.

I am pretty sure he got this deal because he is the one talking. Prosecutors don't have a murder weapon or witnesses who saw the actual shooting. It sucks but it sounds like they have made a deal with him in exchange for testimony against the other two.

bbm,Can't remember which one of the three but one had the golf club listed on their FB page. iirc

Not-guilty pleas were entered for all three. Although juveniles, all three were arraigned one-by-one in adult court. The two murder defendants were ordered held without bail, and could face life in prison if convicted. Bond was set at $1 million for Jones. He faces a possible 45 years in prison.
