Found Deceased OK - Nancy Davis, 55, drove off the road, car found, Seminole, 24 Feb 2022

Seminole woman missing since recent Oklahoma ice storm

This article seems to answer some of the questions asked; seems to give a clearer description of circumstances around her disappearance IMO

To Note from this article:
•she drove to the Grand Casino where her husband works to drop off some medicine for him.
•On the way home, she hit some ice, drove off Highway 377 and got stuck in a field.
•That’s when she got out and started the treacherous walk home.
•trackers were able to trace her up to this point. •That’s when she called her husband to say she couldn’t walk up the icy hill and turned around.
•He tried to call her back. Either her phone had been turned off or her battery had died.
•He waited until he got off work and then drove down here and that's when LE was first notified, about 4:30 a.m. Friday
•found a pill bottle and one of Davis’s four dogs at her last known spot.
•Since her disappearance, three of her dogs have slowly been returned one by one back to Davis’s, which has puzzled investigators.

This information does answer a few questions for me but nothing that is helpful in finding Nancy. And is it just me, or is the dog info bolded above weird?

I think they believe the dogs found their own way home.Which isn't a good sign ☹️I hope she is at someone's home and just confused
Dear Lord please be with her

"That leaves us two options: Somebody picked her up or there's more to the story than we're being told," Palmer said.

I would agree. The fact that Nancy was in fairly poor physical condition would suggest that she could not walk very far from her car, especially in icy conditions. Repeated ground, dog, and drone searches have found nothing in the area near her car, so it doesn't appear that she is anywhere near where he car was found.

Based on what information we currently have the two options above seem the most reasonable IMO.

What time did she drop off the meds to her husband at the casino? How long was it from then until 4:30am?

And why wait at all when you're wife is stuck in a dark, isolated field late at night in an ice storm? For goodness sake, dude, she just made a special trip to bring you medicine and you don't have the human decency to at least send someone else to help if you really cannot leave work?

It appears to have caught the attention of LE as well.

Since her disappearance, three of her dogs have slowly been returned one by one back to Davis’s, which has puzzled investigators.

"We found one dog that morning, one dog that evening, one came home Saturday and one came home Monday," Palmer said.

I think on one of the most recent articles posted above she went to the casino around 11pm?

Believe she went to see her husband at the casino about 11pm or so.
According to LE, there was about a 5 hour time frame from when she first ran off the road & called her husband til the husband contacted LE & vehicle found.

Thank you. I’m on mobile on and off and couldn’t get to the link.

I think that is about right. I also read that in one of the links earlier in the thread. I believe there was a 5-hour time difference between Nancy's phone call and when LE arrived at the location where her car was found.

Sorry I just now saw mlhenn's reply to this question. At least we know we have our facts correct.

One thing that is interesting, also mentioned by mlhenn in an earlier post:
He tried to call her back. Either her phone had been turned off or her battery had died.
I'm wondering if this means Nancy's phone battery was either very low when she called her husband, or she (or someone) turned it off shortly after she called him. The phone records will be helpful in verifying that her husband actually did try to contact Nancy, and what time that was.

The first dog was found by her pill bottle on the road, which would lead me to believe she had dropped the bottle when she was picked up in a vehicle and the dog was found waiting for her to return for it while the others headed back home.

There's an odd comment on her older FB dated July 20, 2021 where a friend says they should get together and she says the friend can't come to her house because the dog bites. She'll have to meet her somewhere else.

JMO MOO and all that but it seems strange to me. Does this mean no one is allowed to come to their house?

If her dog is that vicious, how did a stanger get near enough to disappear her? If thats what happened.

"That dog bites." Hmm...possibly not a literal dog? MOO

UPDATE:
March 08, 2022

Nancy Davis has NOT been located. We are still actively working the investigation and investigators have been following up on every piece of information that comes in.

@mlhenn thanks for the update. We all hope she is found soon.

Based on what we know at this time, IMO the most likely scenario is that Nancy was given a ride by someone. This would make sense since multiple ground searches using dogs and air searches using drones have not located Nancy in the area near her car. LE also indicated her footprints lead up to the road and then stopped, so the probability of Nancy getting a ride from a passing vehicle seems quite high IMO.

I think she must have been picked up as well. I don’t think she could’ve gotten far from the car with the weather and recent health issues. And Nancy was wearing a bright poncho yes? That would be hard to miss in the snow.

The sad thing is if we are left with someone picking her up and she’s still missing, it couldn’t have been someone with the best of intentions. She’d have been taken to a hospital, or the police station, or even home!

ALL MOO

Has LE confirmed her husband stayed at work until his shift ended after she called to say she had driven off the road?
