Was TD local to Wenatchee? I am reminded of the Rattlesnake Ridge case from the other side of the mountains where the guy murdered his family and built a bunker and hid out. If TD was local, had military training, and was regularly camping, I would not be surprised if he has a go-to remote spot or multiple that he stashed things at that could keep him going for awhile. JMO MOO.

I keep tearing up today.... every time I read that the girls were found dead.
This is a heart-wrenching case.
Just keep seeing those bright and bubbly smiles.
They looked happy and well cared for in their photos.
So unfair and despicable of him to rob them of their futures... and their mother of her babies.

My guess is he's alive and hunkered down somewhere, possibly preplanned ?
B/c I feel this was a premeditated act and not a sudden snap.

Imo, he's not a 'daddy' anymore (doesn't deserve that title), nor a husband/ex-husband, brother, son, etc.

This is just my thoughts based on a personal experience that ended not so horribly. Maybe Mom was having a hard time seeing the man she loved and made a beautiful family with as a danger. The marriage/relationship was obviously fractured but maybe she still saw the good guy and not the bad guy. No one, obviously, is blaming Mom - but I'm just feeling her pain and maybe her own what ifs. I cannot fathom how shattered her heart is.

As I wrote some pages back, there isn't anything in the Washington state court system records online for a divorce or a parenting plan for this couple. If there was a divorce or a legal parenting plan in place, it must have happened in another state.

Maybe this has been addressed, since I haven't read the whole thread, but I wonder if there was no divorce because they never married in the first place?

ETA: I see now that they divorced in 2022.

If he's at large he's likely on foot unless someone gave him a ride. The way this is worded it sounds like the girls weren't in the vehicle, but nearby. He likely knew LE was on the lookout for his vehicle which is why he ditched it.

A deputy located Decker's empty vehicle, a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup, about 3:45 p.m. Monday near the campground. Chance said the girls' bodies were discovered during a search of the immediate area.

They were married and there was a divorce, and a parenting plan, and a modified parenting plan. The search by name seems to be glitchy and not always working but someone found a case number for the divorce case and that worked.

That article really lays it all out well. It sounds like mom was trying to do everything she could to keep her girls safe while also having their dad be part of their lives. And then this happens. Heartbreaking.

IMO, if he refused to sign the parenting & mental health form, the Court should have only allowed supervised visitation. I guess there’s wasn’t an ad litem representative for the girls?
