P.I. Says He Videotaped Area Where Caylee Was Later Found #2

We really don't know what he did yet. That is what LE, the FBI and others are now investigating.

What jumped out at me was him on the phone while he was walking the area and videotaping. Maybe it was a harmless call, but if it was to ANYONE involved in the case he is in deep trouble.[/QUOTE

My problem is that we've seen tons and tons of pictures of areas that were searched. If the body turned up somewhere searched earlier - that we had photographs of - would we be pointing our fingers at TM or LP saying they must have known a body was there?

I understand the immediate skepticism attached to anyone working with/for the As, but really. I'm sure DC videotaped up by the airport, by Jay Blanchard Park, etc.

Lets all be careful not to start getting nippy at each other just because there hasn't been much new info lately... its getty testy in here!

So what is wrong with photographing an area? I would imagine that Casey has taken photographs of just about all the areas mentioned in this case. I'm sure he's taken photos of Fusian, of AL's apt, "Zani's" apt, Blanchard Park, every room in the Anthonys' house, has or has tried to get statements from every single person whose name was mentioned regarding this case and has talked to most of their neighbors. The reason they do this is because it is their job to do this. No attorney wants to be surprised with evidence he hasn't seen and every defense attorney will make an effort to get a statement from a potential witness to prepare a line of questioning.

You know, this is exactly why I despise the rumour mongerers and gossips who throw out ungrounded allegations and accusations against people who are doing their jobs. When you do something like that in a public venue, you are ruining careers and curtailing people from making their living. It is wrong, it is unethical and it is immoral to make public allegations for which you have no proof.

I think DC is a PI and he investigated the case and found some info to lead him to this area. Info such as the MR's tips and Kio's "hang out" story, neither of which are privileged in any way. He went to take photos, apparently called JH to come with him and JH video taped the area. LP said that JH said that DC said, "we found her and are going to get her now, she's dead" on Nov. 15th, but we have not heard any such thing from the PI's, JH in particular. LP said that JH told DC he had the video tape and DC wanted it from him. LP said that DC said that JH said that he had taped over that particular tape. LP said that DC said that he tried to get in touch with JH but couldn't. LP said that JH showed him 1 1/2 minutes of the tape after Caylee was found and said he was thinking or had thought to sell it. LP asked JH if he had called LE, he had not. LP did. He called the FBI and the video tape, some still shots and JH's cell phone were taken by the FBI on 12/17. (I believe with full cooperation from JH).

I do not think either of the PI's KNEW a body was there or FOUND IT and said nothing to anyone. Sorry, you can buy their investigative skills, but not their conscience. Just because DC worked for the attorney of a psycho child killer doesn't mean he is a heartless sociopath or that he would aid and abet KC in failing to disclose the whereabouts of the child's remains.

Same for JH. There is no way anyone can convince me that the A's knew where Caylee was and told JH, or LA told JH and that he knew for a fact where the remains were and aided KC in her crime.

Baez is entitled to be worried about work product and confidentiality now that LE wants to interrogate his PI and I expect a special master to be appointed.

LP said blah, blah, blah. I like the guy, but what he says is NOT established fact.

I remember someone from TES describing that a fence had been erected between the first search in that area when the borrowed ATV sank and the second attempt. The area was being considered for development.

I agree with a lot of what you say. To imagine that LA or anyone else in the family tried to get the PI's to move the remains or tamper with evidence is a fantasy... something for a novel... not real life.

But, the above in bold... don't forget DC is saying JH came up behind him with the video camera, uninvited.

If you feel so strongly, maybe you should email the SA and LE and tell them you think they are wasting their time pursuing this like they are. You could save JB from having to run his motion for a Master. LOL>

I will trust LE and the SA on this....they want to iv DC, JB is scared, I'm happy for LE & SA to continue to investigate this! I trust them a lot more than the As and those they are associated with.

If it was the only place that TES or LP searched, and TES and LP worked for the As, then you could compare the situations. TM and LP had nothing to gain by keeping the body hidden.

And, according to DC this is the only place he investigated that wasn't associated with a "live Caylee" sighting. So, I am confused when you say you are "sure" he videotaped up by the airport....how are you sure? Did you see him there??

It's just tooooo coincidental. Unless there is a very good explanation that we're missing it's awfully hinky. To be there in mid November and the body is found there in mid December?! Did he photograph any other areas or just that area? His excuse seems very weak. Checking to see if it's a place where teens hang out?

If that's true then he must think the body may be there somewhere and so why didn't he look around a little? Also, cadaver dogs and TES had already looked there and found nothing so why the interest anyway?

JB is trying to stop LE from interviewing him and has put on a motion to have a Master appointed. If he wasn't scared of what he might say, why would he do this? Just for fun? If you think he's put it on for a different reason, why do you think it is? Just trying to make it look like the PI knows something he doesn't want LE to know for fun?

They also didn't slap the cuffs on Casey for murder for many months after the event...do you think this means Casey is innocent?

It does sound like fantasy,but the A's have behaved unexpectedly throughout this case.It was fantasy to continue saying Caylee was alive and they had tips to prove it,in light of the decomp and hair evidence found in Casey's car.It was fantasy to believe the decomp smell was PIZZA. It was fantasy to continue insisting that the nanny took Caylee and that Casey spent 31 days looking for her without telling anyone.It was fantasy that Casey had a JOB when she provided NO support for her daughter[according to LA interview with LE].
So right now it doesn't seem like stretch to believe the A's may have known where the body was.I'm on the fence until we learn more,but I understand why no one trusts the A's or the defense with anything.

Miss James, I agree it's not a big stretch to question whether the A's knew more than they're letting on. Did they know where the remains were? That's real sketchy to me. But it's an even further stretch to surmise that DC, someone not in the family, would be willing to go out and tamper with evidence. If he got caught, the world would know about it!
