The FBI apparently knocked on her door early in the morning and questioned her because she goes by "China". She was on the news being interviewed. She said the FBI asked her if she is Muslim and also if she had a pet. Start reading at post #803.

??? I don't see any interview with anyone named China? This footage describes LE's releasing of the name China as a person of interest. Did I miss a link?

I thought the same thing..I can't find the interview either.. Just talk of her..

After searching - I remember it was on the news. Several of us were watching online.

Right, I remember the pet hair talk..no one said bird feathers..

i missed the news this morning, but i'm so excited to see that LE is in reach of the horrible people who did this!

They actually didn't say pet hair. They asked her if she owned a pet - and we speculated that is must mean they found pet hairs.

just went back and reread that section of conversation about the young woman questioned who goes by China. Can find no footage of her interview nor any article quoting her. Bummer. Was hoping to compare her looks with some other individuals recently discussed.

As to the question about pets that had us wondering if LE had pet hair type evidence. We now know that N described a noisy squawking bird in the home where she was held.

ETA: FBI interview China.JPG

The search for "China" led cops to a 25-year-old neighborhood woman who says she told police she knew nothing about the case.Police are looking for at least two suspects in connection with the abduction of a 5-year-old girl from a West Philadelphia elementary school.

They asked her, "'are you China?' We are looking for some girl named China."

NBC10 also received a tip that investigators recently raided a home near Bryant Elementary. The man who lived at the home told us investigators stormed into his house looking for suspects related to the case but that they had the wrong home.

You are ON it today Jules. Kudos to you.

Just hope this was an isolated freak incident when they figure it all out.
But didnt' she say there were other kids there? Or did I imagine that ?
Something was said or implied that made me think this house was a go between
for snatching kids and selling them or something. Maybe because this case got
so much immediate press, they figure they would let her go rather than try to
go forward. I don't know .. poor baby girl. Someone will pay for this !

I don't think the China questioned is related to the address or interesting name associated with it. Coincidence. MOO

The bird info is HUGE. This is very hopeful. People will know who has a loud bird (IF they decide to reveal what they know to police, that is). This girl (the victim) is what will break this case, SHE will solve this. Amazing. The China info will lead to an arrest soon, I believe. I'm so happy this is finally going somewhere.

The squawking sounds like a cockatoo or parrot to me. My mom has a cockatiel and he is a whistler and not a squawker.

bye Jules, great work today. Lots to think on and I thank you for it.

This little girl is amazing, I hope this is it, god knows I would find it difficult to identify the house in way less traumatic circumstances

Kidnapping: Woman questioned, parrot taken

snipped

When police officers entered the house in the early morning hours Friday, they encountered a parrot, who was repeating "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" as they police came in, the sources said.

Police sources said they are questioning a 19-year-old woman inside the house, who may have been involved in the after school program at Bryant Elementary at 6001 Cedar Avenue, where the girl was in her kindergarten class the day she was taken.

I think (hope) arrest is imminent. The 19 year old questioned in Jules's link above has a connection to the school. It is my opinion that it will be discovered that another resident of that home also has a connection to the school.

Why N was targeted I don't know, but IMO it will prove out that she was.
