I noticed an article that mentioned that both the FBI and the US Marshal service is involved. Now. After she was returned. That seems pretty heavy duty to me.

yes, that jumped out at me as well, I think it was mentioned in articles discussing the civic leaders and the $75,000 and was another reason I thought "Man, they are sure going all out here, they want these folks apprehended something fierce."

From what I've read, families have to be careful now that it is illegal here in the US. Some send the girls back in the summer to Africa or wherever to have the procedure done there. However, some families have found it cheaper to hire someone to come into the US and do several girls at one time. One airfare being much cheaper than several. Others just do it themselves to their child or female relatives...

Brown, 15, has been missing since July 11 from Pittsburgh. She might be in the company of an adult male and traveling to South Carolina.

Brown is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 132 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes.

That is a question I asked the very first day but never got a really satisfactory answer to. I wondered, is the naqib (I think I am spelling that right) something that would require some knowledge about how to wear it properly, if worn improperly, would that stick out, did the abductor seem to move in the naqib as if she were comfortable in it, or was her movement awkward, etc.

No one seemed to have an answer.

It's niqab A quick research at the muslim ladies message boards gave me answer, that the wearers have to pick their niqab pretty carefully as it may be darn uncomfotable. There are different kinds of niqab, some of them limit the peripheral vision, and the pressure of elastic can give some people a nasty headache.

And, ya know, the outfit kidnaper wore was long, with lots of fabric. If you wear something like that for the first time in your life you will be surprised how much trouble it can make. For example walking the stairs in something like this is not that easy peasy. So if the perp used the Muslim garb as a disguise and was not used to it surely she felt uncomfortable.

The latest article is from Oct. 2012 saying China is still missing. I wonder if she just fell of the missing list like Chelsea has? Got me but I haven't found anything saying she was found.

When she was found, she was soaking wet. I think she had been 'cleaned' to get rid of as much DNA and evidence as possible. This doesn't really have any bearing any of the new info, but just a thought I've had but never stated. My heart breaks for this little girl...

Wow.....I hope China can be found soon! I still doubt the whole FGM theory..... Even though the suspect knew N's name, etc, etc, I have a feeling this was all about sexual conduct and perhaps this China girl is perhaps also a victim being held against her will.

This new information makes me wonder if earlier reports were accurate that N said this teenage girl (China, I would assume) helped her escape and would go back for the others. Anyone have a quick link to any early reports about that that we can reread?

if there were parents involved in taking their own children for circumcision, they may not have known then that a kidnapping was in progress but they certainly know now. Although I doubt they would call the police and report it since they were involved in criminal activity themselves by their very presence. Ugh

So now there is Rashida and China and some guy. The spellings for Rashida can be many ways, as with China i.e. Chyna.

I wish we had a description of "China". I also wonder why they waited so long to release this information about her being a person of interest if this is in fact the teen who dropped N off at the park.
