And what's to say they didn't drug her and drive her out of that neighborhood?! Uggg this is so frustrating! Thanks for the map.

They would have tested her for drugs, right? If done in such a short timeframe, I do not think results would take long?

What I can't understand is, if they believe they have it narrowed down to a block, can't they ask to search those houses? And then concentrate on those who say no? Or are they doing this?

I've been wondering why either female would give NR their names, or even bother with fake ones. Giving a name is a compassionate action. If she was just an object to them i dont think they would bother. But both females told her a name. Hmmm.

I would think they would test her but who knows. I was shocked when they said they weren't going to test the 15 y.o. gunman who killed his family in NM.

I agree they should block off this entire block and go door to door asking to search. Maybe they have. I would look for a home with a single female with children (one you would never suspect). Either that or - for some reason I keep thinking of a place underneath a business or church. Like a basement or something similar.

Do we know how many houses are on that block?

Channel 10 NBC just announced to stay tuned for 11pm news, FBI are busting down doors looking for perps!

There has to be at least one person out there that knows Chelsea. Not a peep from anyone. She might be in danger and I should drop it. Secretly though, I won't.
I won't either Dr. Know?!! I wish I could find anything about her!

I'm not finding any information that she's been found. Tip has been turned in.

:waitasec:I was thinking, based upon the description, that the teen mentioned may be of Hispanic origin. It is common in the Latino culture to refer to as a nickname, one with slanted eyes, as "Chino" for males and "China" or "Chinita" for females.:twocents:

In that case would China be pronounced Cheena (long e sound)?

I am wondering if the names she overheard while in the house. She was hidden under a bed. The perps felt a need to hide her from someone who was not in the know. Maybe the other kids in the house?

I am not sure, but I bet she heard lots of things. When you are frightened, and cannot see what is going on around you, all you have is a jumble of sounds, conversations, etc.

But you have me thinking now, if she was given the names then that puts a whole different spin on it. Some sort of compassion perhaps.

I wonder if they told her she would go home to mama soon, everything was going to be alright if she minded them, etc.?

muareen, bless your heart, thank you for being our ears on the ground tonight. That sounds really hopeful.

crossing my fingers and toes XXXXXXXX

I am very hopeful!!! The Philadelphia cops are really not the type to sit on a suspect, when they know who it is we'll know, just my opinion. If the FBI are kicking in doors I think they have it narrowed down to just a few possibilities. I hope they are off the streets tonight!!

Seems odd to announce on tv to stay turned because the FBI is busting down doors unless it already happened and they have their suspects. Is there a jail roster to check?

I see that local citizens are just as confused as us as to why there have been no arrests.

Busting down doors sounds determined! praying the kidnapper and perps are found tonight.

I am careful not to get my hopes up:please:...after reports surfaced yesterday of them narrowing the search of suspects...this morning was a bit anticlimatic.:banghead:

I wish we knew at what point N was hidden under a bed, before or after the alarm went out about her being missing.

I wish I knew a lot of things.

I was thinking that perhaps someone was stopping by or maybe going to stop by - or came to the door?

Yes, that would be the correct pronounciation but I'm allowing room for error, given that this is the recollection from a 5yr old, under extreme duress. Her memory may not be exact.:moo:
