I'm thinking the kids aren't seen at all if taken like N was. I do think the teen who helped N to get away did so and is in danger too possibly. It could be anyone hiding in one of those homes but sadly think when the teen let N go, they blew town asap. Hope not but it's possible.

I don't think the teen let N go without other people knowing. I think letting her go was always part of their plan.

LE should do a cross match with Child Protective Services. It's not uncommon for dysfunctional households, involving children, to be known to the authorities in inner city areas.

Good idea!!! I hope LE is one step ahead of your thinking!

My guess about being hidden under the bed would be that she was hidden from the person who released her perhaps.

Call it in. You never know.

I don't understand. If LE knows "exactly who they are after", what is the purpose in "making them sweat"? There is an $80,000 reward being offered for the arrest of the person or persons involved. Why would LE sit on an arrest? Makes no sense to me. I would think such a reward is being offered to facilitate the swift apprehension. Why in the world would they be making them sweat it out?

Many times LE knows who but need more evidence to ensure conviction. Just my thoughts.

But they generally bring people,in for questioning, at least. We have not heard of much of that happening.

I can think of one that has been questioned at least a couple times.

Yes, me too. Still, I am baffled that they cannot find a link or that house.

Doesn't appear to be the case here so far.

I don't think they can find the house because I think the perps were long gone out of that house as soon as N was left at the park.

Why would the perps go to all this trouble to kidnap N from school, keep her for hours, then release her? No way do I now think that a teenage girl helped her escape.. unless her captors wanted it to look that way.

I just cant wrap my mind around a sexual predator targeting and kidnapping a child at school, only to be so lax and letting her escape, or releasing her so quickly. It also seems very far fetched to think all of this was planned just to send gpa a message about criminals dressed in Muslim Garments.

I'm sure these scenarios are possible. But none of them make sense to me the way FGM does. IF FGM was the reason, who in little N's life had motive?

Who would have known her schedule so well that they knew she was returning to school that day after being absent for days, knew she had a sub, much less where she went to school, which room was hers, and how her mother dressed, that Tiffany was a familiar person on the school pick up list? I think the link is what LE is having problems with, but I'm hopeful today is the day.:moo:

Then wouldn't they be executing search warrants?

sigh. I was so hopeful for news of an arrest of at least one suspect by now.

Just a quick opinion/observation..
The more I look at the surveillance stills, the abductor does NOT look like a dark skinned AA. It could be lighting or angles, whenever the eye opening moves, I am seeing someone with lighter skin.
Again...IMO

You may be right and that is not the description they are telling people to look out for - so that could create some problems.

I also wondered about them asking the woman "China" on the news last night if she was Muslim. Do you guys think that means they have reason to know for sure they are looking for someone who is actually Muslim rather than someone who just used the clothing as a disguise?

I'm pretty convinced the burqa and niqab was a disguise. Now, the man may have been muslim, and the woman may have been muslim, but not all Muslims wear burqas and niqabs. I was supposed to move to the Middle East this spring, so I have learned a bit about their religion and culture. Something just isn't right. But we already know that.

That's what I noticed too. This could be a real problem, IMO.
