Her Bro Ryan was asking if anyone saw his sister at the Drum Circle in Harr PA.
He heard there was a drum circle.

This young woman did not leave. If she was mad she would hop in her car and take a ride....She wouldnt leave her dog. her car etc etc!

I dont think this will have a good outcome!

If they feel she was kidnapped why isnt the FBI involved?

I thought for the FBI to be involved it had to be requested by the local LE or someone is crossing state lines. If that is not correct please educate me.....

Sorry I'm slow in responding but I'm just confused. If the theory is that the apartment was empty at 0430, then that means the "friend" is lying when he says he was still there and went to bed after the second LE visit. And if he's lying, then that would certainly put him in the cross hairs I would think.

What if hes there but passed out and Kort isnt there!

Do we know why he wasn't there that night? If he's on "house arrest"
is that not considered his "house"? I thought he lived there with Kortne for quite some time..So, what's up with that?

I may have missed something skimming thru the thread but is the reward really only in the $20,000/$25,000 range? That seems awful low considering her dad is very successful & has a booming business=lots of $$$ & assets..I also read that they need & are asking for "donations"..If true, this makes NO sense to me at all!

I don't think Kortne's family is considered wealthy around here. It's a heavy equipment company, you can google it. Sales, rentals, refurbished units.

I imagine an operation like that has most of its money tied up in product. SK isn't a heavy equipment tsar or anything. He's a working man, it's a small business.

I am fairly new to this after following half a dozen cases or so, but I have never seen such conflicting or outright wrong information put out there by MSM in a missing persons case. There is usually a fairly reliable set of base facts and at least the constructs of a timeline. Here, with the exception of police contact around 3AM, every aspect of the circumstances surrounding KS's disappearance has multiple versions. What the heck is going on?

Doesn't help that LE has not held a presser since she was reported missing 3 weeks ago. My line of thinking is that they have a "solid suspect" or they would be warning the community about "stranger danger" .. Hoping its only a matter of time!

I guess no news is good news in every case but a missing persons case .. *sigh*

Mother has stated that on Monday when she went to check on Kortne, she found her apartment door unlocked which she said was unusual for Kortne.

However, when police were called in, perhaps, by that time the Mother may have locked it. Therefore, technically when the police checked K's apartment, the door was locked:

I clicked on a link (in a post) that described the company as starting out "small" but then greatly expanding..Not just in the size of the land where the business is located but also in sales around the country vs more local..It gave the impression he's far more successful & "wealthy" then you describe..OTH! It was on the company 'Home' page ('About' section) so it probably is embellished like they usually are.

eta..I still think the reward amount is extremely low..I've seen it way higher in many other cases where the family has some $$$ & also when the family didn't have a 'pot to piss in'..I also figured owning a local business would=contacts in the business community=far more in donation $$$.

There is a guy on her friends list a Guy with the initials GC from Major model agency now when Holly bobo went missing there was a guy with the same last name from Mahem Modeling agency i think its the same dude!

I don't know all the logistics behind Mayhem Modeling and without spending too much time looking into it .. If we are talking about the same Mayhem .. its not really an agency but instead a website for "models" and photographers upload their photos to "get noticed" .. (I only know this because a client of mine uploaded some of her shots that I took to it) .. Could this "GC" "friend guy" be like a "Tom" is to Myspace? Once you open an account he is automatically your "friend"?

*If there is a different Mayhem that is an actual agency then YES it would be way weird!

There were complaints on Kortne's mom's facebook page about the article Chelesa Hoffman wrote and now Chelsea is challenging them on there to tell more about Kortne and to release more facts...FYI

I have never been to her website or blog or whatever and never will. Commenting like that knowing it is on the mother's FB page convinces me she is one of the most vile people I have ever seen.

There is a void of reliable information as a result of poor and lazy local reporting. Unfortunately, Hoffman has inserted herself into this void.
