Here's another old one. Apparently, Saksek suffered a serious injury back in 2007.

LIVES PUT ON HOLD // Painters deal with injuries after industrial lift accident

Date: February 1, 2008
Page: B01
Palmyra residents Scott Arnold and Todd Saksek were painting the walls of a warehouse in Carlisle on Dec. 19 when the hydraulic lift supporting them collapsed, sending them 30 feet to the ground.
Now, family and friends have set up benefit funds for the men through M&T Bank to help them cope with the financial difficulties that their injuries have caused.
Arnold, 33, broke his back and is paralyzed from the waist down.
He has some feeling in his legs, so...

I can't access article.

How badly injured was/is TS?

I wish you could all come here - dressed as your avatars of course to maintain anonymity - so we could drive around in Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine and jump out at The Gas Station, the Hardware Bar, West Main Street, the quarries...

Might not be that disruptive closer to Halloween.

I'm plowing through piles of paper, took a break to take on supplies.

Not sleuthing, that's for sure. Liking everybody else's sleuthing.

How many people here would bring a guy home from a bar, wait for him to pass out, and then go outside for any reason at 4 AM. . .leaving the drunken passed out guy asleep in your house? (Without letting him know where you were going?) As a woman, I am cautious about going outside by myself at 4 AM, never mind while leaving a drunk guy alone in my house.

She didn't go back to get her car. . .1) if her car was at The Gas Station, she would've had a ride downtown. 2) Cassell is right. KS's apartment is too far from The Gas Station to walk.

If the police thought any of the neighbors were involved, why aren't they interrogating and serving search warrants on them? I believe the police have evidence against MR and CP that they haven't released to us. . .and therefore, my suspicions remain firmly with MR and CP.

BBM: But, this guy was the designated driver for that evening.

No he wasn't. Not in the literal sense, anyway. Not as in, he was sober. He may have been the least drunk and most capable drunk driver of his friends. . .but that's not how I define "designated driver". I realize that he told the police/media that he was, but he also told the police/media a variety of other stories and untruths.

If KS left her car at The Gas Station, or A Gas Station, she wouldn't have needed a ride to Harrisburg, and how did her car get home? Obviously, this isn't true.

I have been following this for the past two weeks now. I have been following the whole Kortne dissapearance since the beginning but came accross this thread a few weeks ago. I had previously tried to post things and didn't have permission.

I am a local here in Palmyra, and actually have a few friends of friends, who knew Kortne, I myself did not. I have heard a lot of different theories with regards to what they all beleive happened. I don't know what is allowed to be stated here so I won't go into that, but many beleive she is still with us.

My family is also good friends with neighbor TS who recently was just talked about.
He has been a long time family friend and is a very friendly guy who my kids love to mess with. I don't see TS as being someone who would physically hurt someone. Yes as you have seen he did suffer an injury several years back. I know he is back to working thus his injuries weren't as bad as the other guys in that accident and he is able to walk, work etc. I don't socialize on a regular basis with him, but as I stated he has been a long time friend of my families and attends all of our family functions, picnics etc. I just can't see him hurting someone or making someone dissapear.

I pray everyday that Kortne is found safe and pray for strength for the family as they are going through this whole ordeal.

I really don't like how quiet it has been in this area regarding everything. And I truly doubt that the local law enforcement are properly handling things, I had an issue with kids vandalizing my 7 yo sons property and nothing was done about it. Took me 4 weeks of calling just to get pieces back and even then they wouldn't let me know what they were doing about it. I have very little faith in our local law enforcement and I grew up here.

While Palmyra is a very quiet hush town, it isn't an innocent town by far. There are many local drug dealers, there are many local teenage troublemakers and there are tons of sex offenders up and down the 2 main streets (most accessed in and out) in Palmyra.

Recently a local head shop/tattoo parlor and car dealership in Palmyra was shut down after an incident of burglery and self defense, which caused them to investigate and apparently the shop was also doing other stuff - IDK ultimately why it was shut down, but I know that incident had created the searches etc. Here is a link to that information.

I just felt it was necessary to speak up and also provide insight into Palmyra, PA. As many people haven't or may not even be fully aware themselves, that Palmyra is certainly not what they thought it was. Not saying it is a bad town as I had moved after I graduated and was in Lebanon and came back here for my children to go to a better school. But it isn't the angel town everyone makes it out to be either. It certainly is not the town that I grew up in where everyone knew each other, Palmyra has grown significantly.

Prayers continue for Kortne and her family! I hope this is all solved/figured out soon.

Mmmmm... party at Kortne's and BF's was probably in late afternoon - early evening.

It sounds like the downstairs neighbors had some friends over -- maybe they were in the front of the house saying good night. TS could have been part of the gathering when the confrontation took place (he was on his way home). CP was also being confrontational, according to the article.

We need details on Kortne's car and its location. How did it get home? Driven by?? With BF in jail, why did she go out within hours (I know, I know, they are kids and prone to jumping in first without thinking)? What time was BF's dog picked up by his father? Was the door unlocked, because Kortne's mom only saw her dog when she arrived. Why is BF's family so quiet? What prompted the pick-up of BF's dog? And why did TS "lie"?

All these questions have been brought up, ad nausem, for the past three weeks. Glad this article came out, although it leaves more unknowns than knowns.

Thanks for the local insight.

Can you tell us more on the theories that she's still with us??

Thanks!

Who does she know with the resources to keep her alive and hidden for a month...and why? Makes no sense to me. With the mood of violence in the air that night, more likely something happened to her.

When I read the different accounts he told, it crosses my mind that LE may have asked him not to speak about the case. Instead of saying no comment as he should have ...

Also, the other two neighbors say they have been harassed to the degree they avoid being seen outside their home. Maybe TS is experiencing the same treatment?

IMO the neighbors are not the key to Kortne's disappearance.

I live near the Gas Station and Palmyra is a fairly good hike from here. I cant imagine her walking back for her car??

I agree, I wouldn't walk it, and I love walking around town, especially if im feelin no pain lol. Also I think that to get from GS to Palmyra, there'd be at least a couple stretches of no sidewalk....I guess whether or not that matters depends on traffic, lighting, and the pedestrian's familiarity with the spots in question.

Which could explain why keys were still in her car. She went to her car and never made it.

I can see her drunk friend passed out and not hear anything. In fact, I could guess that someone called the police almost as if an alibi. Hey, I didn't do anything, I was the one calling the police.

And then not answer. ooooooooooooh, sorry officer, it was late and I fell asleep.

I think someone returned the car and left the keys in it because no one was home!
