I can see possibly leaving everything else, but the phone? Aren't those physically attached to all between the ages of about 13-30...

And me. I don't go to the mailbox without my phone. I once stepped out and a gust of wind slammed the door shut like a lame 60s comedy. I had to go next door to call someone to come unlock me.

Yes, I now have a key somewhere on my property, but I was traumatized enough that I don't cross the threshold without a phone.

My co-sleuther attempted to take her phone into a CT scanner last week. She's 18. Sleeps with it under her pillow.

I am terrible about my phone...almost always forget to take it when I go out. And if I do take it, it stays in my purse forever. I just almost never use it, weird, I know.

Kortne's mom has posted on her FB page about the new things that are coming out, some good, some bad, some correct, some incorrect, she says. But she does not specify.

Shoes? How far is she walking blowin a blunt at 4:00 AM? No phone for blunt blowin?

She may have "walked away", but from what we know, it doesn't seem like she intended to go very far or for very long.

IMO, whatever happened, happened on or near that property.

I was hung up on the shoe thing for quite sometime until my daughter (that lives in my home) said to me .. If I took off one day would you know if I took a pair of shoes with me or not? She has a big bin full of shoes .. Some I am familiar with .. some I am not .. Korts mom and dad, or boyfriend for that matter .. may not know exactaly what shoes and clothing she has or doesn't have. My daughter is an avid thrift store shopper and is always buying herself new and exciting articles of clothing .. heck she could pack a trash bag full of stuff and I would never know what was missing and what wasn't!

Have we discussed the possibility of her having a Go Phone type of phone on the side? IF (and that is a big if to me) but IF she was selling pot .. it is highly unlikely she was using her everyday cell phone to do it with. IF she walked away .. in shoes no one knew she had .. she may have taken a phone that not many (unless they would get in trouble themselves) know she has ..

As for the money counting machine .. well .. I just don't know .. maybe it was a "trade" for something at some point .. maybe she or her BF thought it was cool and they bartered for something with someone .. I know that's reaching a bit .. but hey .. my kids used to trade all kinds of weird things

Maybe one of her racetrack friends stored the money counter at her apt. because I'm sure they must use something of that sort at Penn National-perhaps they got a used one or do they use much bigger counters there?

I don't want Kortne to be forgotten. Sometimes I think there are a lot of people and agencies that want all of us to slowly forget about her and to quit asking questions. I think they want us to believe she walked away.

If she was being threatened or feared for her life, I hope she did get away. But I don't know when she would have planned the getaway...it wasn't as if her boyfriend going to jail was planned...perhaps maybe by someone else, but not her.

Was she a big "bother or pest" to the community in whole or just her neighbors?

Is there a public facebook page for her (I refuse to have a facebook account)? Has her boyfriend spoken a word?

I really do appreciate every post (even if I may not agree)...LOL

No public page, really...just a group prayer page and then someone who does pages for all missing people has a page for her, but no one really posts on it.

There just isn't much news. The investigation seems to be stymied and will probably remain so until lips become loose or a body is found.

the 28th was a very busy day....the party got busted.....went to The Gas Station....went to the Hardware....

and per this article was eating at Tom Sawyer Diner in Harrisburg.....

How??? Unless her and her boyfriend drove to Harrisburg and back before the party??? or did Kortne and the boys go to the Diner before the Hardware???

I don't know, perhaps I need to relook at Palmyradad's timeline again...
