Respectfully Bolded by Me

I have never read anything that indicated that it was strongly recommended that TS retain counsel nor anything about how he may or may not make payment, if any, for such counsel.

Also, I have never heard that during any interviews I've listened to.

I am sorry if I got my facts wrong. I was referring to something stated in one of the earlier posts by a local, to the effect that his employers, who are attorneys STRONGLY recommended he get representation.

Long time lurker, first time poster, feel free to delete this post if it goes against any rules. Just wanted to add when the neighbour denied knowing Kortne maybe he interpreted the question as 'were you friends?'. Obviously given the evening he couldn't deny he knew of her but maybe he answered the question 'Did you know her?' which could be taken differently.

Also to add and i don't know if this is against rules but the LE offiicer who knocked on her door to no response could actually have had contact with Kortne. Something could have happened, unseen by anyone else. She could have be agressive towards him when he knocked at the door and it could have gone down that route. I'm not accusing just thinking outside the box. It kinda bugs me that the last LE visit has sketchy details.

Welcome and I am also suspicious of the last LE member to knock on her door. Especially, since the other officers names were released, but his/hers wasn't.

When the police arrived the last time, did CP confirm KS was in the apartment when LE supposedly knocked? We know he "heard" the knock, but was KS actually there with him? I add this question because of the TS factor to establish a timeline.

CP said he was sleeping and never heard them knock, so I am not sure how he would know where Kortne was at the time that he didn't hear a knock.

Oh, Lisa, there is no need to apologize! Just wanted to avoid speculation and/or rumors sprouting wings and flying.

Forgive my tone...did not intend to come across harsh or personal!

Family, friends of missing Palmyra woman remain hopeful during 'emotional, scary time'

Kortne Stouffer has strong ties to family and deep relationships with friends. Yet, none of them have heard a word since the 21-year-old Palmyra woman was last seen in her West Main Street home at 3:45 a.m. July 29.

She loves animals. But she left her loyal mutt of a dog, Sheeba, all alone.

She’s a product of social media, text messages, cell phones and near constant communication. Inexplicably, she abandons all these things, along with her wallet and purse, then vanishes with her car still parked in the drive way

BBM

this is the article that included info about the search. Also, has a couple comments from her facebook page....

JMO - she did not leave on her own free will!!

If he was caught on film at a convenience store, I'd assume he drove.

I think PalmyraDad said the closest store is roughly a mile or so away.

I wouldn't want to walk that at 7 a.m. after a night of partying!

MOO

Where is Kortne and WHY is everyone so quiet? no friends, no boyfriend, no LE.

I can't.

My thoughts exactly.....I was wondering why the BF hasn't said anything.

If CP was feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed enough to rise and shine for coffee, why not be considerate enough to check on your host and see if she wanted coffee too? I mean, he really cares about his friend Kortne, right? Seems like what a friend might do.

CP's story makes no sense.
MR's story makes no sense.
MR Sr speaking out about eating and smoking changes is bizarre.
TS not answering his door or making contact with LE after calling a second time makes no sense.
TS lying about knowing Kortne and lying about the events of the evening is incriminating.
LE being on a scene three times in an evening and still having a person vanish is patently absurd.

Take your pick. It's all nauseating.

I agree sort of with respect to CP. Ive had friends crash over and leave no questions asked. They were on my couch and I had my door shut. It could be plausable to think he left and the sobering up asks...what happened?

This case has been driving me nuts. I certainly hope someone somewhere is still searching. There's a facebook page for missing people and 2 people posted comments on KS's claiming to have seen someone resembling KS in a walmart with a male with dreadlocks, neither one looking harmed or in danger. Given that there hasn't been any claims of evidence of foul play I think we still need to consider that she disappeared on her own accord. Agreed, it might be out of character, but it sounds like a lot of her behavior leading up to her disappearance was out of character for her.

Precisely, Watson

If it's the Palmyra Walmart, that's about a block from the people selling Kortne Stouffer Peace Pies.

I'm not sure she'd be walking past her own Missing fliers and not telling her mother she was alive. Nothing in her history indicates she'd be that cruel to her mother.

If it was the same Walmart Undead Elvis has been spotted in, I'd be even more confident that it wasn't Kortne.

ETA: I found out this evening that you can get extra pepperoni around the edge of the Kortne Pie, btw. It's getting to be a habit when I'm driving up from Lebanon to call in a carry out order. I'm a pizza person, might as well get it there. They seem like very nice people.

I wasn't implying that the posters word should be taken as gospel, simply entertaining a possible scenario. I'm trying to keep the hope alive. FTR, one poster claimed to see her in the early days following her disappearance in Myerstown, PA and another a few days later in Granville, WV.

Not necessarily. This was very common with my group of friends when we were younger. We'd always be crashing at each others places, and if the person who lived there was asleep you generally wouldn't wake them to let them know you were leaving, especially after a big night. We all worked under the rule that you just let yourself out and caught up with each other later. Very very common practice among friends of this age group.
