I am sorry if I got my facts wrong. I was referring to something stated in one of the earlier posts by a local, to the effect that his employers, who are attorneys STRONGLY recommended he get representation.
I don't know if I posted something wondering if that was the case (I'm not a local) but it certainly sounds like something I would say or throw out there as a possibility. I know that every attorney I know would absolutely tell an employee that works for them to NEVER talk to LE without retaining counsel. In most cases they would even offer to handle things initially for the employee until things got over their head (i.e. they do personal injury work, not criminal). I also know in those instances, the attorney offers to let the employee work off the fees, whether it's overtime, doing other tasks they normally don't do. FOR EMPHASIS ONLY, NOT YELLING, I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS THE CASE HERE. ONLY THROWING IT OUT THERE AS A POSSIBILITY FOR WHY TS HAS LAWYERED UP and to let you know, you very well may have been recalling one of my posts.
