Hi new locals! Thanks for signing up - we need your input and thoughts!

Can anyone that knows Kortne or her friends advise on what the local kids are saying in terms of theory?

DO they think she was harmed by anyone she was with the night prior to her disappearance or do they think it was someone else?

I've heard some stuff that's only recently been posited. IMO, due to lack of anything else. Even the people who mention it shrug when they say it and realize it's crap. It's this week's theory. There'll be a new one by Monday.

Kind of OT, but I watched a show recently where a mother was talking about her daughter's case. I can't remember the specifics but what stuck out in my mind was that she really had no idea what was going on from LE, they didn't give her too much information and then all of a sudden there was an arrest.

Maybe we think we are owed more than what usually is given? I mean, this was the girl's mother! I think of that everytime I see these lack of information posts.

I don't know what is normal in these cases, I have no experience, thank goodness.

She lived there for about a year, according to one of the early reports I read. I'm getting the impression in talking to people and reading articles that LE has hit a brick wall. That is just my opinion, based on conversations I've had and observations I've made. I'm not sure where we go from here, other than hope and pray that that one person out there who may know something will have the courage and conviction to speak up.

A next-door neighbor who asked not to be identified said she last saw Stouffer on Saturday afternoon. The neighbor said Stouffer lived at the apartment with a boyfriend and kept late hours, a situation that created friction with their downstairs neighbor.

Stouffer lived in the apartment for more than a year and had two black Labrador retrievers, said her neighbor...

this case reminds me so much of mitrice richardson and why i really wish we knew more about kourtne as she seems to have changed quite a lot in the past year or so...she moved out of the family home so the family didnt have a clear picture of what was going on... as was the case with mitrice (not identical - but similar enough)... i have never really decided what i think may have happened to her other than le totally dropped the ball and let her walk out of the pd really late like midnight or later without her purse, phone or money. then there were reports from concerned citizens calling about "some woman sleeping on their patio furniture" and then just poof no more mitrce. le claimed that the security cams in and around the pd were not operating that night so there is no proof that she left the way they said she left...and where she was found months later was some inaccessible place frequented by le, tho le said that there were homeless people living there...mitrice needed mental health assistance... and for some reason everyone she came in contact with that night seemed bent on arresting her... i am just worried that this is exactly what kourtne needs, mental health assistance...not more fights and arrests etc.

i guess what im getting at is that maybe kourtne is/was mentally/emotionally unstable and this condition had been advancing causing a lot of the lashing out and causing troubles of all sorts... so, what if she was still restless after all the fighting that night, cp is inebriated and passes out on the couch and kourtne decides to go sit outside and then the cops show up and she is instantly pissed off again and either 1. she bolts on foot...or 2. they detain her... either way le would have no reason to have knocked on anyones door for that last call and possibly explain why she left her purse, cigs, phone etc. behind.

im not accusing the cops of anything, i just want to know if they SAW or SPOKE with kourtne after that last call to le and if so, WHERE...

this is just all mho...

Rumor has it that the LE has really dropped the ball. They only started going to businesses nearby last week to review survailance videos. They were told all have been erased already. If that is true, it is shockingly bad technique (or lack thereof.)
I really feel the family needs to go public to the mayor, or the governor, or someplace where local LE might be shamed into action and/or explanation. So frustrating.

Silent, lazy, and uninterested law enforcement. Remind me to do my murdering and kidnapping in Palmyra and Lebanon County from know on. Heck, it might be a nice place to sell drugs as well. May as well go for the trifecta.
