.

All MOO now: maybe an arguement/struggle in the car which lead to a fatal accident, then cover up?

So...........Are you suggesting that the entire Palmyra police department is involved in a cover up? If there was any sort of a fatality in a police car that would be massive...I dont' think that would be covered up somehow..And if it was an entire police department would be closed down.

I still think she packed up and walked away, and I think that WS knows that one of her friends knows where she is she just hasn't figured out which one....JMO

Nobody is suggesting a massive police cover up. Or, at least, I'm not. I'm saying that of all the scenarios that you can run through in this perplexing incident, the pieces seem to fit together and appear to make more sense in this scenario. Yes, odds are great that this didn't happen and it seem preposterous and unthinkable, even to me. But it doesn't seem any more unlikely than some of the other scenarios you can think of. LE would not suspect one of their own, at least initially, so there would be no need to cover anything up. All I'm saying is, look at everything, because what else do you have?

And yet crime scene tape was up for months.

I went back to the first page of this thread and it was said they would keep the tape up till they were sure a crime had been commited ...

Why is it when we dont get all the info we FEEL we should from LE we start to blame them.

I think there is alot we dont know!
Like what iffffffffffffffff the poor neighbor had had enuff and they left?
Could be CP says he didnt hear the knocking cause if he said he did why didnt he ans the door? Im sure the DOGS were barking also! They just didnt answer!

I do not think a cop did this!

Well, an LE incident didn't occur to me before your original post, but its certainly a plausible hypothesis. And, like you, I'm not thinking massive police cover up.

And hypothetically, if an incident like that did occur, then I guess any witnesses to such an incident (someone leaving with LE and not being seen ever again) would probably think its best for their own safety to say they had seen/heard nothing. All MOO, not accusing anyone of anything obviously.

Ha! Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Yeah, it's all about me.

After Drew Peterson, my opinion is that anything is possible with a police officer.

Ha! Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Yeah, it's all about me.

LOL its true!
If we dont hear from LE they are involved lol
If we hear something thats totally diff than whats the peeps are saying we assume they are lying.
Or they have told ppl to alter the truth as to not let the perp know whats happening LOL

This young lady was way out of controll!
I think that last officer there probably saw something or someone and LE might not want that made public sooooo they keep him to themselves!

Just a thought!

Well, they have some reason for not making it public, whatever it is.

I saw your post about what if K was still there when CP left. If things aren't confounding enough already, that opens things way up to other possibilities. Until something happens, seems like we're stuck.

I'll first start by stating I'm not sure what good this will do, but, is there a police blotter for Palmyra or anywhere that it states police calls and who responded in general to calls or accidents? If so, a little comparing and contrasting could easily lead one to figure out who the unnamed officer is. I saw on the Palmyra PD page they have 7 full time officers. We've already ruled out the 2 that were named...if we can locate another incident from that same 2 day window where an officer was reported to have responded, it's likely that we've got our 3rd officer. I can't imagine if they only have 7 full time officers, and it's not a big town, that they would have more than 3 officers overlapping shifts. Just a thought, and again I don't know where that would lead us, but everyone seems pretty bent about having this persons name. Does anyone know if Palmyra has any female officers?

Anyone hear anything (asking again) about the remains found in Elizabeth town?

I was in Palmyra last week and passed by Kortne's apartment and the crime scene tape is still up.

I'm at work and for some reason, I am not able to hit the "thanks" button so I wanted to send out a mass thanks to all of you..

It's very frustrating having such little information and complete silence.

I go back and forth between different scenarios all of the time.

For those who know what the actual apartment building looks like - how easy would it be to get a body out without anyone seeing? Or hearing?

Thanks for thinking about me scorekeeper! I haven't heard anything yet and now I have another interview scheduled for the 28th of this month. One way or another, something will come through.

This is very strange to me. Does no one need income from this unit, or is Kortne's family still paying? Neither scenario seems likely. Are they just going to keep it this way forever? There have been massive crime scenes re-opened within less than a week, in some cases. :waitasec:

perhaps they forgot that they were to be investigating her disappearance - it's not like they are there on a daily basis gathering evidence - even if family is paying rent, you would think the crime scene tape could be taken down

You'd think the landlord would remind LE. Who the heck wants visible crime scene tape on their property, if nothing is happening, investigative-wise, to justify it?

Off topic but interesting. Yesterday, remains were found in Orlando and even though the coroner is not releasing any pertinent information to the public, the family of Michelle Parker already has confirmation that the remains are not hers. It amazes me how different agencies operate from one state to another, considering we know little to nothing about the remains found in Elizabethtown nearly three weeks ago. Similarly, based on the information above, could it be possible that the Stouffer family has already received notice that the remains are not Kortne's? Just something to consider.
