WGAL in Lancaster reported on the 5 pm news with Dave Arnold that Amanda Ballester was claiming to have gotten her information from a psychic she was using. They just repeated it but I can't find a link for the interview.

She absolutely did say this on the Prayers for Kortne Stouffer Facebook page, and I *think* IIRC she claimed to be psychic at one poing .. however, one must wonder if she just said that because she was afraid to tell the truth out of fear??? I just don't know ..

I can say that I have had a brief convo with a friend of Kortnes that claims to have heard this same story on more than one occasion .. I may not believe Amanda .. but I do believe Kortnes friend.

Memorial Lake Search Postponed Till "Sometime Next Week"

Just played back Tuesday's very brief WGAL-TV video interview with

Lebanon County District Attorney David Arnold:

"All I know is that what she told us last night is either based upon what she

learned from a Psychic, which we don't generally believe to be creditable

information, and a substantial part of what she told us last night ,

again, we can specifically disprove..."

I agree she is an "L" short of normal but that is exactly the type of person I believe would have knowledge on what happened. I don't know if she is being truthful in what she heard or was told. All I am saying is her being uneducated, trashy and not knowing when to keep her mouth shut does not mean she was not told by her uneducated, trashy, criminal friends what happened to Kortne. Would you expect a School Teacher, Engineer or Accountant to overhear some of their friends discussing how they disposed of KS. If this was drug related, then the answers lie with some of the lowest class people on earth. Sorry but that is the truth and she might fit the description.

Geez Louise, that was uncomfortable to read. When she first appeared two years ago I found her to be a little off her rocker then, and I vacillate between yes, she might know something and holy heck, she is a pathological liar.

And here are my reasons why - (all public record) she has a rap sheet, but claims in the news video she is going to school to be in law enforcement. Can you even do that when you have drug related convictions? Also, on one of her social media sites it appears she is in the "entertainment industry." Barely there outfits, wads of cash, an expensive car. Not really sure what is going on there. Seems her and Kortne did have something in common though, promotional modeling.

So the reason I think she may know something is, not to be rude, but she seems like the kind of person that the two people Kortne was last seen with would hang out with, if you know what I mean.

I still say, no matter how I feel about her, they should search the lake. At this point, they kind of have to.

Edited to add: My favorite line in the convo was that people are being mean to her because she doesn't give them diapers from her diaper charity. Huh??

The diaper thing really got me, too. Wow.

She pretty much admitted in the comments that she did not know Kortne Stouffer. It's down to "I met her once".

The more I read, the better it gets. Another poster claims to know the tipster and says she once claimed to be a bounty hunter and helped save this woman's friends from a kidnapper, which didn't happen.

Another post says the tipster was contemplating going out to the bar with Kortne and her friends that night but decided not to since it was her daughter's birthday. (After she pretty much admitted she didn't know Kortne.)

She didn't want her picture taken, but after it was taken by PL, she made it the background on her FB page. She turned down the TV interview request, but yet, there she is in an interview with the very same station she said she turned down. She has bounty hunter experience, though, according to her. And fighting experience. Which is good, because now she's saying people are following her wherever she goes. This reminds me of some of the other nut balls who knew what happened to Kortne and the culprits were after them as well, following them around, tapping their phones.

Her story, to me, is the most implausible theory I've ever heard on the subject. But I guess people want to believe. And they have that right, so I guess there is no use discussing it.

I hear CP signed the petition to search the lake, so he's sweating bullets over this.

I'm now wondering if CP signed the petition because he knows Kortne is NOT in Memorial Lake...

I find myself coming around to Snoop's way of thinking after reading those comments. My interpretation is that she's changed her story once or twice just in the few days since the Memorial Lake story came out. I can imagine how much it changed over the course of two years. At best it seems like she's repeating a wide-spread second-hand story that KS's body is in the lake. (which could still be true in spite of the messenger; we'll see within a few weeks).

Still, I do agree with the general idea that witnesses and tipsters in this case tend to be characters. The majority of the people she had contact with that last night had criminal records, have been invovled with drugs, etc. Anyone who ends up cooperating or ends up as a witness if there ever is a trial will have credibility issues.

Have to had it so Snoop, he seems to have nailed this from early on. Maybe I was just taken in because so many of the details seemed to line up (drug rumors, OC trip, missing rug, etc.). That only works if you are a believer in the drug theory. But there are definitely issues with the story/consistency, I understand why the DA balked at this.

Anyone have any luck investigating the diaper angle? She said she has a charity ...

Cutter99....that is a great point. I never thought he would sign it because he knows she isnt in the lake i assumed he signed it because he wanted the attention off of himself.

She may still have valid information; but she certainly sounds crazy with her approach, and the way she presents herself.

She has been claiming to know something from the very beginning. I remember her being on the "prayers for Kortne" facebook page. She was eventually banned because she appeared to be a lunatic.
