Parents Fake Religion to Avoid Vaccines

Okay, here is the thing, and why I try to be very vague on this. I was first introduced to the possibility 13 years ago at a very well regarded hospital/university when my son first started showing signs of abnormal behavior-however there HAS to be a genetic predisposition, and my ex's family does have the recessive gene. I try not to discuss it too much because I do not want people avoiding the drugs-it is still mostly a theory bantered around by some medical professionals. I would take it again as opposed to losing a child. And I also had a severe allergic reaction to them being IV'd , so that is also a factor. So there are only a few studies out there, and I only knew about the connection from hints by some researchers, no one will come right out and tell me this is from it, they do not want to encourage a lawsuit:

oh, i see... it would be hard to contribute anything like a mental illness to something like a one time event such as a medication being administered... you know? thats really interesting. thanks for the links.

I was on it for 6 months straight. Most people who had it a very short time had no side effects at all. That is why I always hesitate to talk about it-ours was the most extreme outcome possible.

Here is an Autism Fair video featuring an interview with Dr. Boyd Haley re: Autism and its link to the neurotoxin, Thimerosal/mercury.

Autism Fair is a GREAT website which features many free downloads of interviews by those prominent in the autism research area:

Where is the evidence and not the theory, myth and conjecture.

In regards to two boys who had autism in the same family, both different ages and different degree of autism, please tell me why the two boys both from the same genes developed autism.

If the "myth" persist and people continue to "not receive immunization" trust me, autism will be the least of the worries of society. The most pressing point is how to keep preventable disease from spreading into out of control in the general population.

As for health care professions, a health care professional can "choose" to work their jobs or choose the flu shot. They make the choice. After all they do work with sick people, who can not fight the flu or receive the shot due to health conditons.

It is in my opinion, negligent and irresponsible for a parent not to "receive" shots to prevent diseases that their child may be exposed to. It is in my opinion that a parent is negligent is risking the safety of society as a whole and specifically their child's health "because of myth" and speculation.

Heck, am I going to risk Hep A and B by going to the DR for vacation and "hopefully' not do or eat or receive any treatment that "may lead to my family being exposed to Hep A and B. You bet I will do what ever it takes to ensure my family is protected. Who wants to remember a vacation with a chronic illness that can lead to death.

Again, I feel that Autism is genetic based, like with a lot of other medical conditions.

Protect your kids. Get them shots against "diseases" that can lead to their deaths. After all is it not the job of the parent to protect their kids based in fact not fiction.

New England Journal of Medicine has published a report that yet again, which states that there is no scientific basis in fact regarding autism and vaccines.

But unfortunately 70 parents in England who choose not to vaccinate their child against whopping cough, instead of raising and their kids enjoying life, they can only bring flowers to their graves. Their children paid with the ultimate price for the parents negligence and stupidity, they paid with their lives.

Too bad we do not have a vaccine against "killer" strep. That would save lives. Too bad also that parents are not held criminally responsible when they play "Russian Roulette" with the lives of their children, because by not vaccinating them them "killer" and preventable diseases that is what they are doing rolling the dice.........unfortunately it is the children who pay with their lives, not the "well intentioned" parent.

I'm with you Cyberlaw, and I was a healthcare professional for 13 years. On the job, I got bitten by a patient, exposed to TB and the flu, and vomited upon more than once, as well as exposed to bodily fluids. I will always get vaccinated and get my family vaccinated!

Me too. I'm very thankful for all the medical advances we have available to us today. Heck, being nipped at, coughed on, sneezed at, and sometimes puked on is a DAILY part of my job!! LOL but actually, it is usually not that bad. And we have showers and extra scrubs available! Let's just say I am vaccinated to the HILT!

I just took my daughter for her flu shot, she wasn't any more cooperative this year. As usual, I had to hold her down kicking and screaming. That's how determined I am that she get vaccinated!

I am happy to read that "people" who know, the people who are exposed to different medical situations do "what ever it takes to not only protect themselves, but their kids.

It is tough for a parent to get a child a shot that will protect them, especially when that child "protests". But no one said that being a parent is easy (THE under statement of the century) and the choices will be easy.

But after all who is the parent. We know that these shots will protect our kids, just like we know that if the kid(s) want ice cream and cake for breakfast, that it is not in their best interest and we will decline to make a "non nutritional breakfast" of sugar. We make that choice in the "child"s best interest, because after all we are the parent.

Parents are more aware at an earlier age of "conduct" and "signs" that will bring their attention to autism.

If anyone has any "proof" and evidence that immunization causes autism, please post a link to your "credible" and "peer reviewed" articles in a reputable medical journal. I still have not seen one "credible" article that indicates that the "myth" is true.

So I strongly suggest any parent who does not want to protect their child or children from preventable disease visit a third world country without immunization against common life threatening illnesses.

Then they can see "first" hand the "human fate" of people who cannot "choose" due to circumstances beyond their control, to protect their kids from death and disease. These parents don"t have the luxury of saying no to immunization, because none is available.

Again, I strongly suggest that parents do "historical" research into diseases that were common before immunization and how parents felt helpless when their kids got sick and died.

The sheer number of people who died will open their eyes. People seem to think that since there has not been "recent" cases of diseases, that their kids will be just fine. The diseases still exist, but immunization has prevented the diseases from "spreading" into the general population.

But for the parents who "weigh" all of the pros and cons, and choose to do the responsible and "right" thing in the interest of their family and kids, a "big high five" and a "pat on the back" from Canada.

I for one will not play Russian Roulette with the health of myself or my family, especially when I have a choice not to play Russian Roulette.

Oh Honey, if you only knew. With every Jab, it's a twist of the barrel. You play it every time you receive a shot. I pity those who can not think outside the CDC and the FDA. The same orginazations who approved the use of Thalidomide for pregnant woman. The same orginaztions where 80% of it's staff have strong financial ties to big Pharma companies.

I urge you to read up on the mulitutude of vaccinations that have been quietly pulled from the shelves over the last 50 years.

While the CDC tells us that vaccines were responsible for eradicating “dreaded” diseases, the truth is that childhood diseases decreased by 90% between 1850 and 1940 along with improved hygiene, nutrition and living conditions, long before vaccinations were mass introduced. Infectious disease deaths in the USA and England declined by about 80% prior to vaccinations - measles death declined over 95% prior to vaccinations.

Whooping cough (Pertussis) deaths decreased more than 75% before the vaccine was introduced and after the vaccine was introduced people who are fully vaccinated continued to get the disease.

Cyberlaw wrote...But unfortunately 70 parents in England who choose not to vaccinate their child against whopping cough, instead of raising and their kids enjoying life, they can only bring flowers to their graves. Furthermore, you are posting false facts in regards to 70 deaths in UK from Pertussis. Show us the link, show proof. The last major out break of Pertussis in the UK was in 1977. 99,000 people got the diease. 23 died. It is estimated that 90% of the dead where fully immunized. You are passing out FALSE stastics to benefit your point of view.
http://www.nvic.org/Diseases/whooping.htm
The very diseases which the vaccines were supposed to prevent have broken out in vaccinated populations. Measles, mumps, small pox, polio, diphtheria, whooping cough (pertussis), Hib outbreaks have all occurred in vaccinated populations. Medical journals, (Including your beloved New England Journal of Medicine you keep qouting, but not referencing) are filled with documented evidence that not only did the vaccines “not prevent” the disease but actually “caused it” in places where the disease had been virtually absent for several years .

Every stat I see doesn't bear this out. Vaccines save lives, and a huge number of them. They enable us to let our children mingle, rather than isolate them for fear the next child has polio. Every study says they're safe - far safer than not vaccinating. Doctors - who have decades of training in this matter - they vaccinate their children.

It's Russian Roulette either way - that's true, a bad reaction is possible. But in one version of Russian Roulette, you have the standard old 6-shooter, with one bullet, in the other, you have a machinegun with a jacket of 1000 bullets, and only one isn't a blank. The odds matter, the consequences matter.

The FDA is damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they approve a medication or treatment that later proves to have harmful side effects like Thalidomide they get crucified for not doing enough to prevent it. If they delay a medication for a decade running study after study to make sure that's it's completely safe under every possible scenario they get criticized for being a sluggish bureaucracy who's not doing enough to get needed drugs to sick people.

Vaccines do not go through the same research as with meds, such as placebo vs. med. No studies have been done on vax'ed and un'vaxed and will be done because it's "unethical." Yet it's ethical to shoot kids up with stuff that hasn't been proven in proper clinical trials? And yet I'm supposed to believe everything from the CDC when they haven't done their own proper scientific trials. Cloning is an ethical debate, stem cells are an ethical debate....yet experiments are being done with them. Until those studies are done, and done by an agency without vested interests, then this debate will go on and on.

  • #195
Studies are done all the time on vaxed and unvaxed, and this is also how new vaccines (such as the HIV vaccine) are developed. It'd be unethical indeed to leave a child unvaxed to test, but since there are enough unvaxed children, a study can still be done, and many, many such studies have indeed been done. With the same result - no higher autism rates for vaxed versus unvaxed.

WHoooa. once again this is incorrect. There is a huge rate difference between vaccinated vs non-vaccinated autistic children. I have never heard of an unvaccinated autistic child, but someone on this thread said they knew one. I'd really like to meet this child's parent to have them sign up for a new study. I believe it is the University of Arizona, (I'll have to recheck my records) is conducting a study on biological siblings who have autism where one was vaccinated and one wasn't. They can't get the study off the ground, because they can not find any non-vaccinated autistic participants.

DO NOT MAKE UP STORIES TO SUPPORT YOUR POINT OF VIEW!

If you feel you are correct in your assumptions, you should be able to post refereces of true facts instead of making up lies.

Just a small snip from link above

"I have not seen autism with the Amish," said Dr. Frank Noonan, a family practitioner in Lancaster County, Pa., who has treated thousands of Amish for a quarter-century. The Amish do not vaccinate.

"You'll find all the other stuff, but we don't find the autism. We're right in the heart of Amish country and seeing none, and that's just the way it is."

In Chicago, Homefirst Medical Services treats thousands of never-vaccinated children whose parents received exemptions through Illinois' relatively permissive immunization policy. Homefirst's medical director, Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, told us he is not aware of any cases of autism in never-vaccinated children; the national rate is 1 in 175, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"We have a fairly large practice," Eisenstein told us. "We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines.

"We do have enough of a sample," Eisenstein said. "The numbers are too large to not see it. We would absolutely know. We're all family doctors. If I have a child with autism come in, there's no communication. It's frightening. You can't touch them. It's not something that anyone would miss."

Interested Woman,

You are, indeed, correct -- NO STUDIES have been done on unvaccinated children. I know...I have been doing research re: vaccine safety issues for over a decade, as our son is vaccine injured (stated in his medical files as well).

I asked our son's mainstream pediatrician at one point, just why they hadn't conducted any tests re: unvaccinated vs. vaccinated children, and he actually tried to tell me that 'they couldn't, as there just aren't enough unvaccinated children to use.' Bull hockey -- there are plenty of unvaccinated children they could use for this research -- but the CDC, etc., won't test this group because they KNOW what the data would show.

Well, push is now coming to shove and soon, the powers that be in this country WILL HAVE to start studying the unvaccinated children because they will be forced to -- forced to by huge groups of angry parents, and well educated parents at that, who are demanding some answers as to why their once healthy and thriving children are no longer able to speak and/or function as they once did, prior to having received vaccinations (at or around the age of 18 months).

Here are some quotes from a website I have found, with the link to it after the quotes:

"I have not seen autism with the Amish," said Dr. Frank Noonan, a family practitioner in Lancaster County, Pa., who has treated thousands of Amish for a quarter-century. "You'll find all the other stuff, but we don't find the autism. We're right in the heart of Amish country and seeing none, and that's just the way it is."

If I have a child with autism come in, there's no communication. It's frightening. You can't touch them. It's not something that anyone would miss."

"Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, a Florida family practitioner with ties to families who homeschool their children for religious reasons, told Age of Autism he has proposed such a study in that group. "I said I know I can tap into this community and find you large numbers of unvaccinated homeschooled," said Bradstreet, "and we can do simple prevalence and incidence studies in them, and my gut reaction is that you're going to see no autism in this group." http://www.upi.com/ConsumerHealthDaily/view.php?StoryID=20060728-111605-3532r

"Salzburger Elternstudie (Survey of / by parents) (2001-2005) Results: Unvaccinated children -- virtually no asthma; vaccinated 1 in 10; and three to five times less Neurodermatis.......Englische Kohortenstudie (1988 - 1999) Results: Vaccinated children are up to 14 times more likely to have asthma than the unvaccinated and up to nine times more like to have skin problems. ......Langzeitstudie in Guinea-Bissau: Results The death rate for unvaccinated children is about half that of the vaccinated. .....Schwedische Studie an Waldorfschulen: Results Unvaccinated kids have a lower risk of allergies..[May 2005 Germany] Who is healthier, the vaccinated or the unvaccinated?!"

"I observed that my unvaccinated children were healthier, hardier and more robust than their vaccinated peers. Allergies, asthma and pallor and behavioral and attentional disturbances were clearly more common in my young patients who were vaccinated. My unvaccinated patients, on the other hand, did not suffer from infectious diseases with any greater frequency or severity than their vaccinated peers: their immune systems generally handled these challenges very well."--Incao's Hepatitis B Vaccination Testimony

"The conclusion of the research report was: Children who received all of the AAP recommended vaccinations were 14 times more likely to become learning disabled and 8 times more likely to become autistic compared with children who were never vaccinated." Dr. Philip Incao's testimony Re: Vaccines/Hepatitis B vaccine in Ohio House of Representatives:

Link: http://www.whale.to/m/incao.html;

Snip:

"As a private physician with no ties to any academic or government institution, I am free to give voice to my conscience without the usual constraints that group affiliation confers. In what follows I am motivated simply to express the truth as I see it, by a deep concern for the long term health of our nation’s children."

"...In 1979 the Centers for Disease Control stated: "Vaccinations are recommended and administered to millions of children and other individuals each year on the presumption (emphasis mine) that the benefits far outweigh the risks. The benefit side of the equation is straightforward: vaccinations can prevent serious disease. The risk side is not as straightforward since it includes factors that are known and others that may exist but have not yet been discovered. It is necessary, therefore, to maintain surveillance of potential risks of vaccination to continually reevaluate whether individual vaccinations are, on balance, good for people."

"The above clear statement of purpose to monitor vaccine safety has unfortunately been totally eclipsed by our nations’ enormous intellectual, bureaucratic and economic commitment to vaccination as the method to eradicate illness."

"This commitment has made it virtually impossible to achieve an open, fair and unbiased risk-benefit evaluation of any vaccination in use today. With a conflict of interest of this magnitude, the pressures that exist to maintain the momentum of our national vaccine initiative and to avoid "alarming the public" overshadow by far those voices who might question the wisdom of such a one-sided and politicized health agenda."

"In addition, severe constraints are placed on the media in the name of "responsible journalism" with the result that the American public very seldom hears both sides of the vaccination story, and comes to have an unquestioning faith in vaccinations as our greatest hope against future imagined disease plagues. In this fear-based scenario, the questioning voice of reason is drowned out amid the hysteria surrounding the emerging "killer infections" which are such a favorite media topic."

"This propagation of fear by the media and by its sources in the public health industry has resulted in a growth of power of this industry far beyond the usual checks and balances of our democracy."

"One aspect of this power is the ability of many state health departments to legally mandate a new vaccination for all children completely bypassing any discussion or deliberation in that state’s legislature. In a democracy this cannot and must not be."

Conclusion

"Like all science, medicine has radically changed many of its views over time. What seems wise and prudent today may be totally repudiated a decade or two later."

"Vaccinations are powerful medical tools which impact human immune systems to achieve the desired effect of preventing certain infectious disease manifestations."

"In the early 1900’s when diphtheria and whooping cough were life-threatening, the uncritical acceptance and implementation of vaccination was understandable and perhaps unavoidable. Today, when far more children suffer from allergies and other chronic immune system disorders than from life-threatening infectious diseases, it is neither reasonable nor prudent to persist in presuming that the benefit of any vaccination outweighs its risk."

"When the medical scientific community makes a total and one-sided commitment to any public policy, no matter how noble its intentions, then vigorous debate and fact-finding tend to be neglected."

"The facts on hepatitis B brought out by Dr. Severyn and by the special 16-page report of the National Vaccine Information Center deserve our very careful consideration. They indicate that the risk of hepatitis B vaccination outweighs its benefit for the vast majority of American children today." (Note from Kim: Our newborn was given this vaccine at 12 hours of age. He suffered with a low-grade fever (as a newborn this is very dangerous) and with jaundice. I spoke with the hospital in Denver where Ryan was born several years after his birth and asked a nurse if they were still giving this vaccine to their newborns. Her reply: NO. They were not administering this vaccine any longer to their newborns, as she stated "it was just too reactive.")

"When these facts are ignored, and when vital medical research on the safety and adverse effects of hepatitis B vaccine is left undone, then the truth suffers, our children suffer and we all suffer."

Yours,
Philip Incao, M.D.

The above really states it all. This is what I have found through my own research into vaccine safety issues. I used to run vaccine injury support groups for families with vaccine injured members (adults and children). Their stories were heartbreaking. I received emails from as far away as Australia and Japan.

I hope everyone reading this thread understands how important this issue really is. Educate before you vaccinate. Make sure you know the risk factors for YOUR child and family members. Your children's health/future depend on this...
