People being detained and "exported" by ICE

Do you have a source that confirms the previous administration allowed 20 million undocumented people in? Thank you.
I wasn’t the one you asked, but found an article stating that as of July 2023, there are approximately 11 million undocumented people living in the US.

The article states that the number of undocumented immigrants has increased in the last few years but I do not know where the idea that Biden let in 20M immigrants into the country came from (actually, I do. It probably came from Fox News)

And here’s another article that confirms about 11M undocumented immigrants currently living in the US.

ETA: found the “source” of the idea of 20M undocumented immigrants being let into the country under Biden. Not surprised at all that Vance is starting this rumor, he also started the Haitians eating cats and dogs lie over the summer.

Wife of wrongly deported Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia forced into safe house after government posts address online

“I don’t feel safe when the government posts my address, the house where my family lives, for everyone to see, especially when this case has gone viral and people have all sorts of opinions,” she told The Washington Post. “So, this is definitely a bit terrifying. I’m scared for my kids.”

It’s apparent that no matter what is posted if it’s not for allowing all undocumented ppl in the usa then it’s frowned on.

I would like to see at least 10 million ( half) if not all 20 million of what the previous administration allowed to enter. If allowed to stay not on any benefits that Americans paid into.

Jmo

People aren't saying all undocumented people should stay, they're saying that the process to deport them should be legal, humane and with just cause.

Is there no privacy laws in the US?

Poor woman, what a thing to go through at the incompetent hands of the government

This receiving emails ordering people to self deport is starting to sound like the gov is trying to rid the US not only of immigrants but anyone who has a job advising or helping immigrants.

And others just because they have a foreign sounding name, particularly latino sounding names.
It's exactly what they are doing imo. It's disgusting

It is difficult to believe any whitehouse.gov information these days. I will tell you why.

"We are opening up these new energy sources" - fact checked by me, no you are not, some of these sources have been open for quite a while
"We have made these new manufacturing deals" - fact checked by me, hey that Australian one was put in place by Biden
"Masks don't work against covid" - pardon me? they sure worked in Australia
"Social distancing doesn't work against covid" - what? it sure worked in Australia

(as per previous posts, and as per reviewing the new whitehouse.gov covid website)

What? I haven't seen anybody saying allow all undocumented people into the United States. I have only read posters say that people need to be afforded due process as is set out in the Constitution of this country. JMO

It's like most of us haven't been shouting since the beginning of this thread to simply give all humans due process. If the courts decide they need to deport them, then do so.

Research conducted by the Cato Institute says differently. Biden increased LEGAL migration, not illegal migration.
He gave people a legal pathway, so they didn't have to sneak over the border (if they passed all checks and were approved).
He also increased border enforcements. The amount of people turned back at the border increased under Biden.

But that is enough whataboutism from me. :)

However, data obtained by the Cato Institute through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) challenges this narrative. In fact, the border crisis began before Biden took office and ended before he left.

From his administration’s first day in January 2021, Biden actually increased border enforcement—arrests, detentions, and removals of border crossers all increased.

The prevailing narrative that blames Biden overlooks the real causes of the crisis: America’s robust labor market and bad immigration policies that incentivized illegal entries.

However, Trump, not Biden, mostly started those policies. Biden eventually phased out some of them; he increased legal migration, and as the labor market cooled, the problem dissipated.

Deported alleged MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego Garcia was driving convicted smuggler’s car during Tennessee traffic stop
Your point? This has nothing to do with the current situation. It’s the government trying to justify its illegal exportation of Mr Abrego García by putting out as much negative information as possible.

Another horrible story.

A US citizen who had a seizure, got into a hospital, when discharged, confused, asked a police officer (who turned out to work for border patrol) how to get to his place and ended up in a can.

just some snippets from the link report about abrego-garcia and his 'boss' and human trafficking. not so innocent, imo.

Staring nervously into a Tennessee police trooper's body camera in 2022, Abrego Garcia tried to explain exactly why he had eight other people crammed into his SUV.

He said he had been driving construction workers between jobs for the last three days, starting in Houston, Texas with their final destination being Temple Hills, Maryland, 1,400 miles away.

But the Tennessee highway patrol officer became suspicious when Abrego Garcia allegedly tried to put him 'off track' by responding to questions with questions and pretending he couldn't speak English very well.

According to a police report, there was no luggage in the black Chevrolet Suburban and all of the men gave Abrego Garcia's home address as their address as well.

Abrego Garcia was driving with an expired temporary license and he told the state trooper that the SUV belonged to his boss, Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes.

So concerned was the trooper that he suspected Abrego Garcia involved in human trafficking and arrested the nine men.

But – due to guidance form the Biden administration's FBI –Abrego Garcia was released with a warning for driving without a valid license.

Now, court and Homeland Security Department intelligence documents seen by Just The News are reportedly revealing more about that stop and Abrego Garcia's 'boss' - a fellow Salvadoran illegal immigrant and convicted human smuggler.

On December 2, 2019, a special agent of the Department of Homeland Security stopped a suspicious white Dodge Caravan minivan with New Mexico plates on a stretch of interstate I-10 in Gautier, Mississippi.

Inside the agent found nine illegal migrant men.

In the passenger seat was sat Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes – the man that Abergo Garcia reportedly named as his 'boss.'

In August 2020, Hernandez Reyes plead guilty to four counts of 'aiding and abetting the illegal transportation of an alien within the United States' and sentenced to 18 months in federal prison.

He said he had been living in Maryland, where Abrego Garcia lives, before moving to Houston, Texas, a city Abrego Garcia had reportedly said he was thinking about relocating to.

and, another link about the boss man's case

Can't have a name like Hermosillo in the US any more. Maybe people will start adjusting their names to anglicize them, like they did many years ago. Don't know what they will do about the colour of their golden skin though.

"The Muslim organisation has responded to activists’ claims that the FBI and local police carried out raids at the homes of students and former students at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

“We call into question the aggressive nature of this morning’s raids of activists’ homes, which follows the recent misuse of prosecutorial power in Michigan and throughout our country against pro-Palestinian activists,” said CAIR-MI Executive Director Dawud Walid.

“This disproportionate response further fuels the perception that Muslim and Arab students, and those who stand in solidarity with them, are being treated overly hostile by law enforcement compared to those who commit harm toward American Muslims,” he said."
