BBM

-25,000
+ POSSIBILITY of finding my child’s remains and/or fate of her final moments
+ the possibility of the perpetrator being held accountable for at least some of his ill behavior---for once in his life---
+ believing that he will be locked away in a place where he will not be able to hurt / kill another person’s child again

OR

+25,000
+ the rest of my life with no child or their remains
+ no burial place to visit
+ no provision of dignity for my child--EVEN AT DEATH
+ the thought of leaving this earth with my child being “somewhere out there”
+ the rest of my life filled with unjust guilt for not doing enough to find my daughter
+ more money to spend on everything but trying to bring my daughter’s killer to justice
+ more money to add to my bank account
+ more money to spend on everything but learning what happened to my child…MY CHILD…The one that I brought into this world but can’t seem to see her out of this world…with dignity!

IMO, this seems a rather easy choice…I don’t care if it were a million dollars…if I had it, I would do it. I find NO fault with Beth…at all!
Just curious...because the FBI was involved will we ever know where that money went? Knowing that may establish JVS's state of mind (other than the obvious) at the time of the murder.

All three attorneys on GVS said that FBI could have had him detained. They said FBI dropped the ball.

Aruba could have detained him.
It is their jurisdiction.
They were informed of the sting.
They were updated as it went.
They issued search warrants relevant to some of the ongoings.

The FBI could only ask Aruba to detain him.

We have seen many of the attorney's on these shows spout incorrect info.
Happened all the time with the Casey Anthony case where they clearly had not looked at the Florida statutes and were speaking in generalities.

John Q Kelly gave $ to Joran. Joran said that he got in argument with NH, she struck her head on rock and died. A week later Joran sent email saying he had lied.

FBI Affidavit discussion: Bernie said FBI should have grabbed him then and there, history of traveling around the world, they had probable cause.
Jim: Changed his mind after reading affidavit, should have arrested him. Fed prosecutors want everything tied up with a bow on it. They should have put him in custody and that girl might be alive. (I typed from my DVR but not word for word)

The FBI doesn't have the authority to arrest anyone. As I understand it, the US has no jurisdiction and would have to either extradite him or wait for him to be on US soil. BUT, the Aruban authorities could have detained him. I'm not of how long they could have detained him at this point, but a minimum of 30 days (I think).

And, its been stated many times already, but for some reason GVS keeps on trying to stir the pot. What's up with that?

Seriously - I wish he'd just give the CORRECT information for once and then go off and disappear. He is an awful human being and a total waste of space and I (like a lot of you!) are sick and tired of his STUPID STORIES!!!

Just throw away the key already - he is pathetic.

My understanding is that FBI did not ask Aruba to detain him. FBI could have requested that May 10th and did not.

From GVS:

FBI was in the next room and videotaped the transaction with John Q Kelly and Joran. FBI did not move.

I am working a little behind here. Are you talking about the $25,000, as in "will we ever know where the money went?"

My understanding (and with this case who knows) is that on the 10th the FBI was continuing their sting. Possibly going for higher or additional charges. They kept Aruba informed of their investigation. Aruba knew he was traveling out of the country, did not detain him, and did not inform the FBI of his plans to leave.

I think Mark Furhman gave the best information regarding the FBI and what they can and can't do. Heck, the FBI can a better statement of what they can and can't do.

I think people think the FBI are the local cops and just can arrest anyone. The FBI was in another country, they had no jurisdiction in and dealing with a foreigner of that country. Like they said, he is not a US citizen and it is not our country.

Lawyers are lawyers, most have never been in law enforcement.

I would love to see the lawyers sitting across from the FBI and I'll sit record it.

I recorded and posted the videos of the prison and they are in this thread. I am too tired to look for them.

Mark Furhman video is in this thread also.
