I don't believe the evidence has been inconsistent at all. I think in the beginning just like in many high profile cases, so many news outlets are scrambling to get information from too many different sources in addition to things being mistranslated and add in some speculating.

I think they have an airtight case because all of the evidence points directly to Joran and no one else. It is easy to say things like framed and conspiracy but there has to be facts to support it. I don't believe he was framed, I think it is just more of his lies. His confession retraction imo was to be expected because that is what he has done for five years now but I don't believe it will work in his favor this time.

I like to add that even his mother believes he is guilty this time.

This is such de je vu on Joran's confession in this case, as in the Holloway case story.

Keep track, if you can, the ever evolving stories of Joran Van der Sloot in his crime of murder in Peru.

At first it was two policemen robbed him and killed Stephany.

When that wasn't working for him, SHE asked to go to his room and when he went to get coffee, she violated him by going on his computer, so he struck her.

When that wasn't quite right, SHE hit him first, so he struck her.

When that still wasn't quite right, same as the last, but he also strangled her.

When that needed a little adjustment because he was caught going out and PRETENDING he was locked out, they were playing poker and he just happened to open an email and Stephany struck him and he protected himself by killing her.

A little more tweeking is necessary, because he was confronted with her money, id, credit cards (or, they told him they KNEW he tried to use her credit card unsuccessfully), he added in taking her money, etc. Not robbing her, just taking her money.

When confronted with her being undressed, well, ok...................I don't know why I did that?

Oh, but at the end of the day, he was actually in the middle of giving himself up to police, when they stopped him and arrested him. :slap:

Oh, but now they didn't have a right to arrest him and send him back to Peru.

Oh.........wait, wait,.................they FORCED me to confessssss.............

Oh, wait, wait, wait,...............I was FRAMED!!

Oh, no, wait, wait, wait, wait,.................It was the FBI.

OH, I shoulda' listened to my mommy.

Oh, NO! those cameras were a set-up.................yeah, that's it.

The FBI lured me here so I could be extradicted to the U.S., they filmed me and tricked me into murdering Stephany, then they forced me to run, and I cried, I paid $1000's and I was still caught.

I wouldn't have confessed if I thought I had to stay here, yeah, that's it, I did it because I was told they'd send me home to my mommy.

PS....I see there's a few around who believe this latest, or one of the versions pointing to Joran's innocence. But they did that with Scott Peterson too. Didn't do much good though. It's the JUDGE who has to be persuaded and Joran really isn't the only :liar: in the world. He's just the one in this 15 minutes. The rest of his time is waiting for him in Castro,Castro.:snooty:

In pictures 10 and 11. Who's shoes do you all think those are? At first I thought Stephany's shoes. But look at pic 11, it's hard to gauge their size but don't those look pretty large for her? I know, I know--LOL women can be short and have rather large feet. I just want to be absolutely sure before I assume they are Stephanys shoes. JMHO, and what are your thoughts?

Isn't the entrance at the lower left hand corner of the photo where the arrow is pointing, or am I reading the diagram incorrectly?

The diagram from NG shows the entrance, in the lower left hand corner, directly across from the bed.

But this diagram from the ROL police documents shows that the bed is past the bathroom against the wall to the right of the entrance. This diagram agrees with the crime scene photo of the room (Pic #16).

I want to make a clarification on a statement I had made earlier on CS photos. Yes I have seen them when they were: Cold cases or unsolved crimes. I have seen them in very old cases. You can find CS photos, and photos of deceased (famous an not famous people) all over the internet. I don't have an interest in those so I don't go look for them LOL. I can barely stand to look at Crime Scene Photos sometimes. JMHO.

I also noticed when they (on HLN) were going through the psych evaluation someone said part of it about him not handling confrontation matches up with his confession that Stephany found the e-mail and his connection to Natalee and confronted him. How do we even know yet (without the computer forensics) that there is such an e-mail? And even then there isn't any proof Stephany was on the computer. I think until there is some proof, everything he says should be taken with a grain of salt. MOO

Me too Panthera. We don't know what he defines and perceives as confrontation. It could have been something as simple as she sighed while he was talking, or she rolled her eyes or made some other gesture that was particular to her personality and he took it as an affront. All JMHO.

I do know as stated on the Cold Cases on TV that when victims are stabbed to death....their bodies roll into a fetal position.....however, with SF if she was found in a fetal position.....the PLE may have rolled her over to see what wounds were inflicted on her person.

Whatever the case may be......this poor girl suffered a death that was OVERKILL......from someone (Joran) who lost control of his senses and just killed and killed and wanted her dead.
