Just tagging onto this, I'm going to ask that if anyone is going to put photos here with graphic content like extensive blood pooling or spatter or potential victim bodies even blurred out, they put it behind a spoiler cut for the sake of myself and others who might not want to see that without choosing to. You can find it in the nest of comment options. It's the eye symbol with a slash through it.

I'm so sorry for doing this. I was just so shocked at NBC, I'd expect this from People magazine, just wanted to get it out so people wouldn't watch it. I thought all photos would look the same, because supposedly the Moscow police dept blurred everything, but I don't believe that's the case.

Edited because I double checked and there is more than one picture of a tan comforter. One is graphic with blood. Not sure how I missed it.

I looked at a picture of a tan comforter, but the only dark area seemed to be a shadow. I didn’t see blood. It was on NBC. I didn’t see anything graphic and hopefully they won’t appear. Thanks for the heads up.

The latest NBC news story showed the blurred image, and then immediately after it, showed basically the same photo without the blur...That was the only one I saw, but I assure you, if they were not blurred by MPD, the unblurred ones will quickly begin to come out...I would probably avoid the usual suspects, and you all probably know who they are...it's likely going to be the sites that are fast and loose with facts, but have great crime scene photos. 'Nuff said. JMO

...and Muffin, you did nothing wong, at all. You provided a public service, imo.

No surprise, but still infuriating. It always seemed to me like anyone who had followed the case could tell at least a few of who they were going to try to pin it on. Kaylee's ex and hoodie guy from GrubTruck video were obv ones they would go after.

Don't know for sure but all the MPD documents have Ethan lying on his back with his head at the south wall and his feet hanging off the bed to the North. So in a N-S line.

Therefore I don't understand how it matches with what they're seeing. ( They're seeing a shape which is lying differently. I know which one you mean but I am hesitant to paste it here )

I hope people are just mistaken. The MPD document descriptions are all we have but if these people are right and I was a parent, I would not be happy!

And his feet were described as hanging over the north side of the bed (the side away from the wall and towards the front window).

In blurred photos, there are white spots in different locations--if you look at them in a bigger screen, you can see the pictures of X's bed were taken with bright flash from several slightly different angles, so the location of those white spots shifts noticeably on the bed--that's from the flash, IMHO.

They were blurring the blood on the bed.

Been a busy day, so just now getting on here and looking at some of the photos...

You know how sometimes when you look at something that is so obviously horrendous, your brain focuses on one tiny irrational thing/thought? Maybe as a protective measure?

The picture of the side of the room where Xana's desk was....my brain just flipped over to "oh, her cute black and white round rug was ruined....I think she probably really loved that rug."

And Murphy under Kaylee's desk. *sigh* I'm going to go look at Murphy's insta acct and happy photos of him romping and playing with his dad and friends whenever I need a small good moment.

The calculator got me too. How many calculators have we bought over the years, that bs 100 dollar plus TI-something that our kids needed for whatever math class that they were taking… A child with their whole life ahead of them that used that calculator does not exist because of what?

I'm thinking that it's entirely possible that when XD opened the front door to grab her order, that the headlights from the DDD's car flashed into the house momentarily followed by XD swinging the door shut with a small 'bang'. Possible too that if BF heard the bang first, that it was the DDD's car door shutting after she returned to the car, followed by her lights flashing into the doorway as XD opened it.

Plenty of possibilities that are not BK related and that make sense for BF to have experienced down on the bottom floor.

do we know that she was parked in front? if so, wouldn't she have seen the house number? (it was right above the door) because we do know that she was lost, walking down the road with her flashlight looking for the house, so I'm thinking she wasn't parked in front of the house but I don't have the energy to plow through documents looking for the answer
