He's rattled and annoyed... can't sleep because of the noise?

Four college students wanted to sleep that night. Through the night.

BrianEntin is right -- the inmate's discomfort? No one cares.

JMO

In one of the recently released documents an inmate at the Latah Co. jail said the killer didn't sleep much at night anyway. Stuff some tp in your ears murderer!

Actually, barking is mentioned by both the neighbour and the roommates
(the question is, at what part of the attack did it begin):

__ told me the following: He woke up a couple of times Saturday night. He looked at the clock, saw it was 04:17 hours, and said after about 5 minutes of waking up he heard a dog barking, outside, from the direction of 1122 King Rd. __ said he was going in and out of sleep and after an hour, around 05:00 hours, he still heard the dog barking otside from the direction of 1122 King Rd. __ said his bedroom is on the far north east side of ___ Walenta and is closest to the backyard of 1122 King Rd. __ said there is a motion light outside of his window and said if it turned on he would have noticed it. __ told me he has lived in this residence since January and has not heard the dog barking outside before in the middle of the night.
Source: supplement 14.

D said she woke up at around 04:00 hours on 11/13/2022 [---] and could hear Murphy barking.
[---]
D said she hear Murphy barking a lot around 04:00 hours 11/13/2022 when Kaylee went upstairs. D said she heard Murphy go outside barking as well.

Source: supplement 42.

At around 04:00 or 04:20 hours, B heard what she thought was a firework and saw a spark on the ground from under her door. B then heard Murphy barking.
Source: supplement 89

B told me prior to hearing the firecracker she thought she heard Murphy bark, she also heard what she thought was the beer pong table moving and cups falling. The beer pong table was located in the living room which is above B bedroom.
Source: supplement 90

B stated Murphy would primarily sleep in Kaylee's room and if Kaylee was not home he would be left in the room.
Source: supplement 90

So Murphy did bark at some point. And was probably sleeping in Kaylees room and totally used to all kinds of people walking up and down the stairs. Until something alerted him. (I had forgotten he is half-poodle and that broke my heart, these are super gentle and super loyal dogs).

And what was the flash, the fireworks? I had an idea that maybe if BK was surprised by Xana when coming downstairs, could he have accidentally dropped something like a flashlight as he charged after her for an attack? Or where was Xana's phone (a danger to BK) durirng the initial confrontation? But then I realized it was the wrong floor, the floor BK never entered? Did Xana turn on the light for a second? Or did B imagine this light, as her brain tried to make sense of the noise and she just opened her eyes?

Also. WHY did BK leave his home and drive towards the house at the moment he did? If KG was indeed the main target, how did BK know that she was at 1122 at all?

at approximately 2:53 a.m. on November 13th, a white sedan, which is consistent with the description of the White Elantra known as Suspect Vehicle 1, was observed traveling southeast on Nevada Street in Pullman, WA towards SR 270. SR 270 connects Pullman, Washington to Moscow, Idaho. (supplement 136 - he is already on his way with all the gear)
B said at approximately 02:00 hours on 11/13/2022, Madison and Kaylee came home from a night out. (supplement 3)
D said she believed Maddie and Kaylee arrived home at around 01:30 or 02:00 hours on 11/13/2022. (supplement 42)
G stated at 01:45 hours on 11-13-22 he was contacted by Kaylee again and asked if he could pick her and some friends up at the Grub Truck. G arrived at the Grub Truck at around 01:49 hours. G took Kaylee and Maddie home, he stated it was a 3 to 4 minute drive from the Grub Truck to 1122 King Road.
[---] G texted Kaylee he was there and she stated they would be there in a second and said they were at order 75 and theirs was 78. Kaylee and Maddie came to the vehicle a short time later. (supplement 113)

So Kaylee and Maddie arrive home at approximately 2:00 - 2:15.
BK leaves towards 1122 at approximately half an hour later.

The video taken from a home across the street is a great source, GHI has it posted if you want to watch it hit. It helps to pin the times down.

Two things stuck out to me:
  • BK complaining that he cannot sleep because of others' actions seems like a fairly fitting punishment considering he left a town terrorized because of his actions.
  • "Who really cares?" Brian Entin asks, 3:00 minutes into a 16 minute video on the topic lol

It's called prison-not a luxury hotel. He's getting what he deserves.

Much ado about nothing, they are trying to get to him (for the sake of the media spin) and he is trying to adjust. Move along. JMOO

Nobody will ever know the answer..... but what are some theories on, what seems like a more extensive attack on KG out of the two upstairs?

....who was he multi-media following, KG or MM?

I think the rage he showed towards KG was because MM was his target and she "ruined" his plans for the night.

Inmates planned to make Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger’s life hell in prison: ‘They were waiting for him’

Kohberger is being held in solitary confinement in a restrictive unit called J block that only has 32 other prisoners, who are “the worst of the worst outside of death row,” McDonough said.

The unwelcoming neighbors decided to carry out a relentless taunting campaign against Kohberger by taking turns yelling through the vents into his cell around the clock.

“They’re utilizing the vent system. They’re kicking the doors. They’re taunting him,” McDonough said. “And they’re basically, you know, torturing him through, you know, using psychology.”

IMO KG was more awake and he wasn't expecting her. He reacted with frenzied violence.

Not unlike what he unleashed on XK.

Hard to believe it was anything but rage. Self-preservation and rage.

Honestly, this is the best thing I've ever heard. BK is getting the real torture he deserves. Wish we could send megaphones to all of his cellblock mates.

Maybe the felon learned how to manage and master his visual snow (if indeed he had it). If he carried an LED tactical flashlight, he may have used it to disable his victims, by blinding them with it.

Perhaps it was bright enough to flash under BF's door, although I wonder if the light she saw came from DD headlights.

If he had a flashlight, and turned it off as he left XK's room, he may indeed have looked right at DM, without seeing her. Temporarily blinded by his own adjustment.

JMO
Maybe the light was from the DD headlights and the sound was the car door being slammed shut.

“He had his parents saved as "Mother" and "Father" in his phone, says Barnhart, and would often call his mother first followed immediately after by his father if he did not get an answer.

"And he would go back and forth texting: 'Father, why did mother not respond? Why is she not answering the phone?" Barnhart says.

Barnhart notes that Kohberger had completely powered his phone off between 2:54 a.m. and 4:48 a.m, a move likely meant to protect himself while he committed the murders.

In the end, it was a move that proved to be incredibly revealing, she explains.

"When he powered it off, it was from a human pressing a button, and the battery was at 100 percent charged," Barnhart says.

Who talks that long to anyone?

What do you talk about?

My head hurts just thinking about it.

As a parent, he’s exhausting.

Seriously. He spoke to them for hours, and it was a regular thing. I can’t handle a phone conversation longer than a minute.

Imagine a cold blooded murderer that ambushed and slaughtered four! innocent college students in their sleep complaining about his sleep being interrupted SMDH. Cue the world’s tiniest violin playing. Speaking of which and considering the inmate’s aforementioned complaint, add tone deaf to the list of, ahem, unpleasant traits of the inmate.

After what he did/took from this world, and the poor surviving roommates, all the families, loved ones, friends, and community his heinous actions affected likely for eternity, he does not deserve to have a peaceful night’s sleep, EVER.

It’s prison not the Ritz-Carlton.
Deal with it and zip it #163214.
