Did he never notice that no one buttons their shirts all the way to the top? Unless maybe they're about to add a tie.

'Stuffed shirt' comes to mind.

Definition fits.

Who walks into a store, drinking from a water bottle? Shirt untucked. Stopped at the door. I'd love to know what he said to them. Prolly something like we don't have stores where I'm from.

GH notes the BK kept his hand in his pocket.

Who walks in with a water bottle, shirt untucked, all casual, after slaughtering four innocent people? Just a normal Sunday morning — looking for a coffee. Oh my gosh, this is just unbelievable.

Contrast that with the sad huddle outside 1122.

Heartbreaking how devastated they were, how ice cold he is.

When she heard Kaylee go upstairs (she's really hearing Xana here), the dog started barking around the time she said "someone's here." The dog continued barking in the house, but then the sound got more distant, which told her Murphy had gone outside.

Earlier in the night it appears that Dylan saw Kaylee and Murphy go upstairs, and it seems that it was at this point she heard them playing. So my guess is that Dylan went to bed at this point, and the playing she heard was well before the murders.

She falls asleep, and thinks this is the same event. But it's not.

Kaylee and the dog are playing. They go to bed. The murders begin. Xana says "someone's here", and the dog starts barking and the final murders occur.

I think the PCA wording that described DM hearing sounds of Kaylee and Murphy playing upstairs was a misinterpretation of DM’s statements that she heard them in the “main room” which I take the mean the living room. A portion of the living room shared a wall with DM’s room.

In the body cam video outside of 1122 King Rd, DM told the officer she heard them in “the main room” before they walked upstairs. In the follow-up police station interview, DM did not specify the “main room” but again said she heard them before they walked upstairs, suggesting she initially heard them on that main level.

I can imagine it might have been difficult to keep the floors straight when taking in this information due to the unusual layout of the house. Or perhaps they had a working theory when the PCA was released that led them to believe DM had actually heard noise upstairs rather than in the living room and that influenced their wording.

I do agree it’s possible DM conflated various memories and might have heard Kaylee much earlier and Xana later. However, DM had not seen Xana return home so I think it’s very possible she just assumed Xana’s voice through the wall was Kaylee’s, especially because the person she heard was with Murphy and walked upstairs with Murphy, behaviors likely more associated with Kaylee.

He looks quite fat in this pic.
What is he wearing under the shirt I wonder 🤔

I agree, IMO he looks more bulky than in his sicko thumbs-up selfie.

So, this is later in the day after the murders? He didn’t gain 20 pounds in that space of time, so I too wonder if he has something on beneath his shirt. I wouldn't think bullet-proof vest because as far as we know, he wasn’t yet a suspect and we believe he thought he’d gotten away with it at this point.

Sure, I would need a cup of coffee too if I’d been up all night stalking a house at 4 in the morning, executing four people and driving around the house again later that morning.

I’m not a Costco customer, so can someone explain to me why he wasn’t able to shop there? Do you have to show your card or something?

Yes, you must scan your membership card or digital member ID when you enter Costco.

Does this look like the same shirt he was wearing in the thumbs up selfie? I can’t tell for sure but I think so?

Aside from that day, and aside from when wearing shirt and tie, are there images of him wearing his shirts buttoned all the way up like that without a tie? Wondering if that was just a quirk of his or if he was either concealing wounds or another layer of clothing under his shirt? The pants being baggy up top could also allow for additional clothing underneath. Is it possible he was prepped to shed a full layer of identifiable clothing in an attempt to evade capture if necessary?

He looks very strung out to me. I know he needs coffee. But LOOK at his knuckles on his right hand. OMG.

What an intense stare for just trying to enter a store. It's the kind of look that'd make me uneasy if I looked up and saw that expression on someone's face that was looking at me.

His energy is off. If I saw somebody like that trying to come into the store I would likely leave.

Seriously, if I didn't know the backstory I would be getting all sorts of red flags from him. He's concealing a hand and something possibly under clothing. JMOO.

Also, wanted to add no gloves or mask or anything (not that It ultimately matters) but he's shedding DNA everywhere so clearly he wasn't self protecting yet.

Screen grab from the end of the video, enlarged, a murderer walking among us

View attachment 616459

13m mark

Two ideas on looking bulky:

It is mid November. He might be wearing thermal underwear.

Or… this is a couple hours after the thumbs up. If his torso was punched, scratched, etc, by the girls, by this time he might be feeling sore? Perhaps greased himself up with BenGay or antibiotic ointment and then pined a bath towel around himself (like moms used to do to us with Vick’s Suave).

I’m more inclined to think it’s long underwear! OMO.

He probably doesn't have a Costco card. You need one to get in the door.

(Not suggesting this- just that he might have been hoping to go to their food court without a membership and prior to 2020, and in some States, you could...)

Good points.

I agree, and would guess his Mother is in a world of hurt and needs time to grapple with it all and her son living in prison for the rest of his days. Convicted for committing the murders of 4 innocent college kids, so viciously and heinously, in cold blood breaking into their home in the dead of night and then fleeing and moving cross country back home, where his sisters became suspicious of him.

I can't imagine what it must be like for his parents to live with that knowledge, and would not blame them if they hope for some peace in their daily lives now and wish to dial back on their interactions with him.

It's understandable if his Father may be in denial as a coping mechanism and is holding on to a scenario in which his son was framed.

Maybe that's why he (and their other daughter maybe for other reasons of her own) didn't attend him giving his guilty plea to the court and sentencing.

I do recall his brave Mother was there, and was seen shaking and holding her head in her hands.

Wishing their family peace and healing. To have to accept on any level that their son and brother did this must be excrutiatingly painful to come to terms with, and their family and lives of the victims' families lying in ruins.

I hope now he is tucked away for eternity in the prison system, they will have some breathing room from him and his terrifyingly disturbed beyond hope or help personhood as the days and years go by... bye bye Bry. The only tear in my eye is for all the victims.

May your 23 hour a day "alone time" put you in a position to feel some remorse for what you decided to do. Maybe not likely, but there should be some hope of it before you die.

MOO
the rest of us and the parents(!) are safer now

I'm sure you're right that the reason he was not allowed in was because of not having the card, BUT it's interesting that he was the ONLY person that the doorperson stopped on their way in! I went back to watch again to be sure, and she didn't stop a single person on their way in, except for him. Maybe she just recognized all the others or something, but I kinda doubt it.

Just found that very interesting!

If you look carefully, all the other shoppers show their Costco card to the doorperson as they are walking in.

Ok, you're right! I had to go watch AGAIN to see it! And sure enough, almost, if not everyone just flashes their card at her as they keep walking. I thought she had to stop them to see it. So, really, Bryan might have just been able to keep walking if he flashed some similar card at her; that's how brief a look she got of everyone else's -- except for the fact that he just looks so darn odd/guilty/suspicious, imo.

Re the picture

It is not only the torso that looks bulky
but the area of hips and legs

Honestly folks,
but maybe it is the angle of CCTV.
People look strange caught on such camera hahaha
