I’m not doubting the intent of Vicpol. . their colleagues either lost their lives, were injured or had to witness the occurrence / aftermath of that day. I’m sure they would walk over broken glass in the pursuit of justice for them.

My comments were based on the fact that sometimes ‘heart’ can get in the way of ‘head’, and it can be detrimental.

Just my opinion that it’s now time to change things up a bit.

Your linked article says that Filby told his associates that the charges against him related to him skinny dipping in front of a child, but the Herald Sun understands the claims were more serious than that and could have resulted in a prison term if proven.

It also says that Amalia's guns that were confiscated from a property linked to her had not been used to kill Neal Thompson and Vadim de Waart-Hottart. The guns were taken by the police close to the start of the search for Filby.

I believe that the charges are much more serious than the "skinny dipping" story his friends have spun in the media ( I'd say Desmond never told them the true story of the charges ) .

Similarly I hope it all ends soon jezzab, and for a whole host of reasons including:

The people of Porepunka have had a totally reprehensible (and unfair) situation bestowed upon them as a result of the selfish & disrespectful behaviour of one individual. They must quickly be allowed to move on & recover from this.

I can’t imagine the torment being experienced by those young & impressionable children of DF. Every minute of every hour in this pattern does them more damage, imo.

Cost to date for this search is being suggested as well exceeding $ 20 Million!
This is miraculously being made available while the Police Services across the country are screaming for resources; while our hospitals are grossly understaffed; our mental health / child support services depleted; our people starving; our people sleeping in cars due to no available / affordable housing ….. etc etc.

No one has the right to hold a person to ransom, let alone a country !

Like you, I hope this ends soon.

Thanks for that, I was wondering why they hadn't taken the guns earlier.

The reporter from the Daily Mail said that in the video she watched (the one taken by Freeman's family member during the search warrant), she heard the police clarifying to Freeman what the search warrant was related to, and that it was for the swimming naked in front of a child incident.

That visit was way bigger than skinny dipping in front of a child.

Mali is up to her eyeballs in it. The airfield surveillance is probably watching to see if she or the video sharing son try to re-supply Filby around the airfield in person or by drone (Dezi likes drones).

The airfield might have been the agreed rendezvous site when the family split up, and the police found out, hence the constant surveillance there. The airfield is also positioned between the family bus and where Mali and the kids were originally staying with a friend.
