Maybe this

The woman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said she believed others who shared these views began to live at the Rayner Track property where Freeman allegedly shot the police officers, sparking a massive manhunt.

She described those living at the property as a “squatting” or homesteading arrangement focused on self-sufficient living. Freeman was living in a bus at the site.

She said Freeman also believed he had been mistreated by police, including during an arrest, where he claimed he had been left with spinal injuries.

“There is a feud going on with the authorities and him, and this is how it’s played out,” the woman said.

“There’s a lot of people now joining their own little communities because they’re finding their tribe.

“I can see why, based on what happened during COVID, and I know that they’ve actively been involved in the protests and stuff like that. So yeah, that’s led them to remove themselves from society.”

BBM :
Crikey!!!!!.. be a bit difficult wallopin thru the bush, on the run, carrying all his weaponry, AND ammo, with a spinal injury!!! Bushbashing in extremis.. he would be making a lot of noise under those circumstances.... he's toting about 4 guns , a couple of Glocks, ( from his victims ) a rifle, and assorted ammo clobber , which he has to keep dry, too. ..

By Mikaela Ortolan

ABC reporter Kate Meade is at the Fethertop Winery in Porepunkah, which is where police have set up a staging area.

"Normally I can see Mount Buffalo [from here]. I can look up and I can see that dense bushland," she says.

"I can't see anythnig right now, the cloud cover is low.

"Once again it's going to be a trying day for everyone out here ... participating in this manhunt."

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a top of just 9 degrees Celsius in Porepunkah today.

Revealed: The warrant that sparked a manhunt

New details are emerging about the warrant that took police to Dezi Freeman’s property in Porepunkah on Tuesday morning – the search that ended in the deaths of two officers and left a third seriously injured.

According to three sources with knowledge of the case but not authorised to speak publicly, the warrant was for alleged sexual offences against a child under the age of 16.

The alleged offending occurred within the past two years.

The new details of the warrant, coupled with the profile of Dezi Freeman, helps explain why 10 officers – including members of the sexual offences and child abuse investigation team – were enlisted to go to the Porepunkah property.”

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>
The fact the police thought you had them is a worry, the fact they sent six cops is more of a worry.
The fact they only sent 10 officers to a person's residence with a history of firearms, violence, absolute hatred for police and has declared war on LE is also a worry.

lots of old tobacco huts around there, where the tobacco hung out to dry, until that branch of agriculture was halted. I reckon he's holed up somewhere, hard to believe he's out in the weather with all his warfare stuff, dressed in tracksuit pants , soaking wet pants, by now. He can't light a fire to dry off, either.

Been a wet winter down there, the Kiewa river, the Buckland river, , the creeks are all running high and fast, he has to cross them eventually.... they'd be watching the bridges....

Hard to imagine that he was living in the bus with his wife / partner & 3 kids.

I wonder if they had separated??

I hope they are getting alot of support & are somewhere safe.

I wonder if the warrant was in relation to offending against one of his children?

That might explain why the wife and kids declined to run with him... a possibility...

That's a creepy charge, Marg.... not something your average Sov Cit would like known about themselves, they being strict upholders of the correct interpretation of all laws pertaining to any sort of behaviour, they being the ones who tell people the law, not get told it..

He'd be very angry and humiliated by that charge, once it was known. All his bluster, his legal gobbledegook,, his 'brave' protests against being stopped for speeding would look very suspect indeed.

I'll Be Your Voice is the first song I've ever written and it was inspired by the first Lockdown in Victoria, Australia in 2020. This song is an expression of my empathy and support to those who were struggling during this challenging time in history.

lyrics

Whisper, whimper, linger above
Eyes are shut, a bleeding heart
No voice no care, don't even start
Darkness you feel a mastered art

Silence, loneliness are a company
A potion and a drink are a remedy
Talking to your self and arguing some more
Will I be heard? Will somebody hear my noise?

I hear the voices in your head
Life is hard for you to comprehend
But bear in mind you're not alone
I'll be here and I'll be your voice

You, my friend will get through this
Think of the waves splashing on your feet
The sun will kiss your dreary eyes goodbye
The rain will wash away the ache in your heart

Let your soul rest on me
Let me bear the weight, let yourself be
Let the clouds show their beauty
Let the days melt away and be free...

🤮🤮🤮🤮 I don't have a lot of time for antivaxers.... and since this entire family was living off my taxes , claiming disability, they didn't feel able to reject the payment from 'the Govt.' and being able to buy rifles and ammo and so on .nah... .. let the sun kiss your dreary tears , dearie.. get a job and a haircut.,

Holding a position to get Govt out of your life, and at the same time, relying on your fellow citizens to feed and clothe you.. gtfoh...

What these “sovereign citizens” don’t realise is that their whole ideology comes from a place of immense privilege AND inconveniences tax-paying Australians doing the right thing. Who pays for the roads and public schools and hospitals? Taxpayers and the governments they hate so much. I have hope that Freeman will be found soon. Preferably immediately taken into custody.

Dezi Freeman: Porepunkah locals believe suspected cop killer is using bush tunnels to evade police hunt

Porepunkah residents believe suspected cop killer Dezi Freeman may be using old gold mining tunnels and caves in Victoria’s remote alpine wilderness to stay one step ahead of police, as the massive manhunt to capture him stretches into its third day.

Mark Bartolic, a long-time local, says the 56-year-old knows the terrain around Mount Buffalo exceptionally well and could be exploiting its hidden bush networks to avoid detection.
“There are a lot of caves here and a lot of dugouts that have been (left) from gold mining,” Mr Bartolic told the Daily Mail.

“I know caves. People know caves. I’m not even sure the police have looked under the tunnel that goes straight under Porepunkah here.”
