Harbouring a fugitive or withholding info or interfering with evidence or misleading the police etc ?

If she’s charged she won’t be locked up will she? If she’s helping Dezzy the police will need her to be free to continue.
oh they'd lock her up until she told.. they wont wait for her to lead them. dearie me, the idiocy of it all.

Agree. The police may be attempting to apply some heavy psychological pressure on dumbarse Dez with their interactions with, and comments on Mrs Freewoman to try and flush him out. It's worth a try I guess.
Mali and the kids will be his Achilles’ heal.

Video reveals accused police killer Dezi Freeman fled from police during pandemic protest

Footage shows accused double-killer Dezi Freeman fleeing police in country Victoria after they tried to arrest him for a Covid-19 offence | WATCH

Paraphrased :

  • DF has a larger than expected network of anti-vaxxers and Covid-19 deniers to draw on for support to hide across northeastern Victoria, as new video shows he has previously fled from the police, using his athleticism to evade arrest.
  • DF has connections to at least 8 towns in rural & regional Victoria
  • Two associates live in the King Valley, west of Mt Buffalo
  • DF has knowledge of the thousands of disused goldmines in the Porepunkah area.
The full video is much more interesting than the short snippet that was published in the news. It's about half an hour long. For me at least, it answered a lot of questions I had.

Dez is living his dream.. he sees himself as Colonel Kurtz... running his own war with his own brigade of seasoned warriors, veterans of many a protest standing round looking silly , fighting their 'mask war'... a gathering of low IQ blokes with a lot of time on idle hands..Dez directing and educating and leading and setting examples and all that stuff.... Dez is longing for the Apocolypse, when we will all say, oh Dezi you were right, we should have never been bowing down to COvid we should have died with our boots on, just like you will....

Awesome. Well, totally MOO, purely speculation but - all I could see was how similar his behaviour was to people I know / have known with autism. The mannerisms, black & white thinking, strong sense of justice, inability to read social cues. Even his hyperfixation (law) and ability to recall sections of the law. In my opinion only, there's no way this guy wasn't on the spectrum, and not the lower end either.

People with autism can have a strong preference for structure and logic whuch might lead to questioning rules that seem arbitrary or inconsistent. also communication differences can make interactions with authority figures appear defiant, especially if the person struggles to express disagreement appropriiately.

The man in the video, although very persistent, hyperfixated, and annoying - I can't see him hurting a fly, except by talking its ear off. So this was in 2020/2021, what happened after that? How did it get to this point / current day?

If my theory was hypothetically correct, it would explain the disability payments. All the people I've known on the spectrum to the severity that I suspect he is, have received disability payments. Some of them worked part time, too.

I guess we have to remember that some disabilities are physically invisible.

All MOO.

Killing someone by gunfire, here in Australia, presupposes a very long chain of premeditation on the fact of murder by gunshot, It's not as if it's the US where everyone whips out a Berreta and fires it at an annoying schoolmate, where gun are given as gifts for xmas, where people actually lobby to carry undercover guns... nothing like that AT ALL >

He had to think about it for weeks, months he had to construct his own gun , he had to arrange a situation where the target was on his ground he had to have a firing position worked out, because he was facing multiple police, not one, he had to have an exit plan, and an exit long term plan,.

He probably has hurt many fly in his day, he is brawler, a man who loves and lives for conflict, preferably shirtfront to shirtfront stuff the kind of oneupmanship that Dez is never going to win. .
He may well be on many a spectrum, ranging from low IQ ( a definite ) to paranoid schizophrenic, or he may be just plain stupid, and hateful, longing to kill a police person. He spoke about it many many times..

He encouraged other people to consider killing police, not once but lots of times.

All this costs money, when you are on the dole, its about 55 klms ... 110 klms round trip. Porepunkah to Wangaratta .

had this wrong.. it takes about 55 minutes, the distance is 72 klms, thats 144klms round trip.. more money.

If poor Dez was on the autism spectrum, most likely he would have spent many a productive year in a sheltered workshop, turning out kids wooden toys, tomato pickets, seed plackets, dogs toys, etc... there is one in Bright, and a few in Wangaratta, no record of him at any stage coming under that umbrella.. he could have been a somebody, the star of the show, turning out fabulous artifacts and being a big brother to the newbies coming in !!! they'd be saying, o that Dez , he's just a wonder!!!

A different thought, in the reports of what super model Desmond was wearing on the runway into the bush it was noted that as well as his matching green on green pants and rain jacket he was wearing reading glasses. How would anyone know they were reading glasses? Was he reading the warrant at some point or did someone see him reading his comics?

And meanwhile the people of Porepunkah and surrounds who earn a living from people passing through to get to the snow fields are feeling the effects of IMO DFs purported actions and those of the unthinking fools that are supporting him

They probably just mean glasses with clear lenses, not sunglasses. imo

I wondered how they knew his boots were Blundstone boots so soon, but then I thought maybe they just mean the style. (Used to be called desert boots - pull-on boots with elastic inserts in the sides.)

I suspect that Freeman’s disability relates to a diagnosed psych condition rather than a physical or intellectual impairment. With the DSP the most prevalent psych conditions that impact long term work capacity are:

- Depression and anxiety disorders
- Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Personality disorders

Freeman’s been on the pension for over 20 years which dates back to his thirties.

I’ve read a few times that Freeman described his childhood as “difficult” and that he’d overcome disadvantage.

“I felt threatened and preyed upon … Even the sight of a cop or a cop car … it’s like an Auschwitz survivor seeing a Nazi soldier,” Freeman said.”

My wild guess is that he’s diagnosed with PTSD and an anxiety disorder, prescribed psychotropic meds and has at some point (probably long ago) been to counselling.

MOO

Police body cams perhaps?

Offering a public reward for verified intel could be more cost effective, and efficient all round. I wonder if they’ll post a reward in the lead up to the first funeral on Friday.

I agree that it sounds more likely that he has a psychosocial disability - I work as a mental health practitioner and I can see signs of him being a paranoid schizophrenic and possibly delusional disorder. If he has been prescribed medication for any psych conditions, there's a high likelihood that he has recently stopped the meds or just hasn't been taking them at all for a long time. A lot of my clients don't believe they need their medication.
