Possible Kyron Sightings

Kyron vanished on the morning of 6/4. If he was abducted, IMO there is a very low possibility that the child at this event was Kyron. Whoever took him would keep him hidden. There is just too much risk involved by taking him to this "obscure " event. The safest thing,from the abdoctor's standpoint, is not to take him to ANY public place.

And also I find it unlikely, if these people were Kyron's abductors, that they would allow him to intereact with other kids,and possibly adults. What might a child who was abducted say,if he got the chance ?

The adults in question were inattentive of the child who looked like Kyron ? I would think they might be afraid he would make a run for safety ?

IMO this was not Kyron.....

But, mmif, you did the right thing by calling AMW and LE. It only takes one call sometimes...

LOL, thanks. I'm working on it. I had to laugh at myself. I posted a very angry FB post the other day, along the lines of what I'd like to do to the person who took Kyron, and left Desiree feeling guilty. Why? For trusting the wrong people? For putting her son's welfare before her desire to have him with her? I think she's an amazing mother, reading between the lines of the relationships here, always making sure the kids come first, never what she needs or wants, letting bygones be bygones (she's a better person than me, I'll tell you that). But she feels guilty for not protecting her son, and THAT makes me ANGRY. She's not the guilty party here.

But cut myself some slack? Nooooooo..... Oh, the irony.

We mothers are a strange bunch, aren't we?

I'm trying. I would rest a little easier if this little boy would just come *home*.

If I understand correctly, the poster didn't realize that Kyron was missing when she saw the boy. She only found out the next day or so. imo

It was after this event that she found out Kyron was missing. She saw him on TV.

This was Saturday June 5th. I had been gone all day Friday, did not catch the late news, and was gone before breakfast Saturday. I did not yet know a child was missing, so I didn't connect the person I saw (in a building, not a car) with Kyron until much later.

However, it's very, very interesting that LE got back to you 3 times. I would really like to know when those calls were made. Was it very early on in the case, like the 6th 7th of June, etc? Or was it early and then again later, say in July? It would just be interesting to know if they were entertaining ideas that might just have nothing to do with TH.

RNMIF - I think you should call the tip line back and reconfirm that they had someone call you two more times after the initial report... that is suspect and should be looked into. Also, do you mind sharing what this event was in Estacada on 6/5?

That press conference was when my wheels started churning that there were too many parents involved for my assumptions to be true. I think it was several days after that I called, on a Saturday.

I forget how long it took for LE to get back to me. I would look it up.... but this is one of those areas I'm nervous about giving too much detail. More than 3 days, less than a week. I think. I know I had gotten to the point where I figured my tip was useless, and I didn't expect to hear back. Then they called. And a few days later again, and a few days later, again. All in late June I'd say.

This is part of my problem, I keep assuming my tip is meaningless, so things I could have remembered, I kind of... let go, and then it comes up again. I didn't want to write down to much, because I figured LE would have more expertise in interviewing me than me trying to do it myself, and I was very afraid of corrupting my memories, so I was trying just to replay the experience in my head, and not be too specific, to enhance my recall more than any specific memory.

One I know was them. Another was certainly a mult. county agency. The other was definitely the second person calling back from a different number.

I hesitate to call them again... I know they're strapped for resources, so I'm loathe to strain those resources more without good reason. At this point I'm thinking it's more curiosity on my part, but I'll know what there is to know when everyone else does.

I'm not sure I'm ready to share the event in a public forum. If LE is keeping this under wraps... they have a reason. I'm kind of regretting sharing the city....

When did you call AMW? The reason I'm asking this, is I'm wondering if AMW contaced the other LE agency and they called you based on what AMW told them? It would be interesting to have dates so that your calls could be viewed by sleuthers in relation to what else was going on at the time (heh, that we know of anyway, LOL).

BUT, if the people who had him were NOT strangers and he trusted them. Why then would they be concerned about what he would say? Furthermore, I know that I have read about Kyron learning how to listen/take directions better (something along those lines). IF this person only knew Kyron peripherally BUT they knew that-it could have been used for the kidnappers benefit "now you know you have to call us XCX......while we are here-and by following directions like you are suppose to you will get XYZ". IF they knew that he wasn't going to 'rat them out' they would have no reason to hide.

I too feel like the sighting is probably coincidental, but at the same time do not feel that anything should be ruled out. If it did turn out to have been Kyron, maybe this would support DY's feeling that he was stashed somewhere (and not just a coping mechanism). I pray that is the case....that he is being fed and well cared for...homesick but thinking he is on a mini-vacation.

Those dates seem right to me. AMW said they have some method to getting their full report to MCSO immediately. I didn't ask for more detail on that, it's a well known org, and LE seems to work with them when it's relevant. I had called MCSO first though, and did leave a message, but was unsure what to say, so I just said I was reporting a possible sighting of Kyron Horman. LE didn't offer whether they were returning my message, or calling because of AMW, and it didn't occur to me to ask.

As to dates of their calls to me, you could safely say they all took place somewhere between 6/22 and 6/30. All three were made on weekdays, at least 2 days apart.

If so, does anybody remember the date that he was on AMW? That would narrow things down.

Not a chance. To me she looks... rounder than TH. The woman I saw had longer hair, more Desiree's length, but lighter, and strawberry blond. I would have put her somewhere between 5ft 6 and 5 ft 8, and somewhere between a size 6-10 (probably closer to the 6, but if she were on the taller end, she could be a size 10 and look very thin). She had the trophy wife kind of look (and attitude).

I'll also say this.... my gut instinct about DDS, is she's loyal. I can't for the life of me see her as knowingly and willingly engaging in a criminal act. I think there is history here going back to her feeling a need to protect TH from KH, or even knowing something about KH that TH did not want to face.

I think that is why she immediately came to TH side, and dropped everything to be with her. She's protecting her, but DDS is no criminal. Nor is she a dummy.

1. Did the Kyron looking boy touch the game? Is the game yours or was it at the location?

2. Have you seen the videos showing the children and their parents who keep getting mistaken as Kyron.
