I agree. There is no way the PD would tamper with the case. They didn't know Travis. What would be their motive?

I agree, the defense can make all sorts of allegations to fit their agenda, the only evidence they have comes from the killers mouth, if they genuinely had any evidence it would have been spilled already, please. The foggy lady's memory is surely sharp after the ptsd. pppffffftttttt!

To add to/sum up what some others have pointed out (and maybe add one new twist)....
According to this, Travis just happened to start accessing interneton the same day JA stole the gun she used in killing him. And he even continued accessing it after she had killed him. That seems credible - NOT!
And further, it means that in the course of three hours from check-out time to check-in time - so not counting any transportation time, time spent waiting at the forensics end, time spent waiting for Flores after they were done, etc. - that they were able to find and delete every single one of thousands of references to
Even though it seems rather far-fetched, it seems more likely given the timing that Jodi sent him an email with a link she got him to click on that infected his computer with malware when she started planning his murder. (Others have theorized that above.) However, if she had done that, then it seems like she would have been able to get Dworkin to find this alleged evidence at that time. i smell a rat too and its initials are JA.
This is probably Jodi talking to defense:
"I know it was there because I could have sworn I copied the files from my CD to his computer, and while I was on the phone with him during my phone-sex setup with him, I gave him the link and we were laughing at the same sex pictures together on the phone".
All I know is if files are missing, the content is also missing so there is no way to tell content.
I am not even sure if a computer keeps a running list of file names that have been deleted on certain dates.
I do think recover/backup utilities keep track of file names so that deleted files can be recovered because they really are not gone. But once a file is truly deleted from "trash" folders and such, I dont think a computer will have a running log of all files that were deleted for the entire history of the computer. That would be 1 heck of a log of informtion and just not sure computers go that far.
This is much more likely JA attempting to copy the files to his PC himself and she failed at it and that is why she is alleging they had to have been deleted. She thought she put them there.
And during the phone sex, she probably gave him a link or 2 to look at together and Travis could have faked that he actually brought it up while they were on the phone and he may not have even gone to any links she gave him on the phone.
It screams out as more false allegations from JA.

Hey everyone, Good morning  if this is true why wasn’t it brought up earlier? As far as I’m concerned it’s just more BS from the murderer and her DT. How much more is Travis’ family expected to take. Is this what CMJA is hoping for? Is this what they think will break Travis’ family? Is CMJA thinking this will make Travis’ family ask to have the DP taken away? I also think this is more of Nurmi’s delay tactics. CMJA knows her time is up, she is getting so desperate! She knows how everyone feels about her; even her own lawyer can’t stand her. I guess all we can do is wait for tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how this judge handles this new set of lies. Whatever happens tomorrow, I really really hope court is not cancelled.
I think we're getting closer to Jodi's mysterious virus/bug eating story. The date and volume of sites visited suggests malware. Either she planted it on the day of the murder or on the 28th somehow. I never knew what she was doing and thought people who said she was probably trying to plant were crazy because her defense was going to be she was never there. I think you guys called it and I always thought she was trying to explain away the virus they'd find or just show she has knowledge of Travis' computer when they did find the virus. My thought was the CD was a virus.
My question is this:
If Juan can prove this virus originated with Jodi and/or explain why previous experts missed it, does that negate its exculpatory status and an appeals court might decide even if this were found sooner it wouldn't have helped her anyway? Just spit balling?

Right and of course they wouldn't know her freakish claims at that time (she was still talking Ninjas then). Why would anyone "protect" Travis in this way? This is pure choreography at the last minute, aided and abetted by their little lapdog Kiefer.
Lowdown doesn't begin to describe MK or this carp. Nurmi can't convince even JSS to hit JM with misconduct charges, so he's gonna just make up grounds?

But I don't understand why Melendez would have missed a virus and claim there was none. I'm not suggesting anything nefarious but how did two experts miss this stuff?
I hope Juan can hire a very good independent computer expert to help him out.

FYI.....
I believe it was mentioned in the first trial that when the computer was turned on for the first time there was a warning about a virus. So they did know about it. I don't think the State could prove JA put that virus on his computer but I think JA own statements would indicate she was the only one who had access to the computer. Was he even up at 4am when she arrived or was she on the computer at that time trying to install this virus?

I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think the primary question is whether or not the alleged files are exculpatory. I think the primary problem is that if true, the DT could have impeached Flores' testimony about gun sequence and just about anything else. He would have been a throughly discredited ex-detective.
I am not a member of Facebook or Twitter. I just took a look at Keifer's Twitter and couldn't stay on for more than a minute. According to him, anything that comes out of JA's filthy mouth is a fact. And how dare we the public even question His Majesty!

Which would make M's testimony that it didn't have a virus completely baffling. Will have to review his testimony yet again.

If it was related to a virus that brings up
sites, then she could easily give that virus to Travis computer in 1 of 2 ways. The 1st way is a simple malware email link that she sent him. If he clicked on the bad link, he would get it as well.
Lets suppose Jodi herself had gotten an email with a link and she herself clicked on it and she then realized when she brought up her browswer, it had a bunch of sex websites in her favorites folder or changed her HOME WEB PAGE to a
site. Then when clicking on the site, it automtically brings up multiple sex sites in new windows. Its like an infinite loop. You click on the 1st site, and next thing you know your web browser goes crazy and it opens new web sites with more and more of them. You finally have to shut off your PC to get it to stop.
She could have sent him the same email link that infected her computer. Perhaps she did this just because she was already mad at him and wanted to begin to mess him up.
It could have even setup a new default SCREEN SAVER which was the sign to Jodi that he did indeed get infected by the same thing that infected her computer and she quizzed him about it for proof her malicious plan worked on him. Through email link.
The 2nd way is her bringing over a CD to load crap on his PC. Some PCs have trouble reading CDs created on different PCs.
The broken CD story is telling me she had trouble trying to load files from her own PC (after she killed him), and she threw it into the wall.
Or she was successful and then broke the CD to destroy the evidence of her doing it.
