This case is such a hot mess. And it's such a damn shame that Nurmi was allowed to file this PUBLICLY while he fights to have everything else filed under seal and in secret. I bet Travis's family are heartbroken and furious tonight. No wonder Nurmi looks so horrid. Look what he has to do to a good person in the name of trying to free the devil herself. Karma is quite the ***** and it looks like it's taking it's revenge on Nurmi.

If the DT can get this down and dirty, what's to stop them from creating /tampering with evidence? This DT with its total lack of integrity has clean hands? Why does no one question the lengths to which they might go?

I was thinking the same thing, then I thought..nahh couldn't be, but then...

Any real fear I have of this being true is if Det Flores turned that computer over to some pale-skinned pimply-faced junk-food tainted geekwad who just threw the JA case trying to protect TA's rep. And I'm sorry for putting this out there, but I'm a bit worried.

Isn't it interesting that Jodi's hard drive (external) was destroyed much like a cd that wouldn't load photos on Travis's computer was? Jodi said she had her laptop with her, so why not show him off of hers, if that was the case. That is the hard drive Jodi spoke about her defense didn't enter it into evidence.

Uh, I feel sick. I hope this isn't true. If it's true and actually involves child , the DP is off the table and even the conviction is in question. If it is not true, I hope KN has a damn good reason for thinking it was true before putting something like that about the victim in print.

I notice he didn't ask to file this one under seal.

Well, the good news is that those dates are mighty suspicious indeed. The bad news is that they were recovered after attempts to delete files, if this story is to believed.

If LE did delete, then the obviously suspicious activity was never investigated to see when and how 1000's of files magically appeared on his HD.

The days listed are very few for thousands of visits to sites, the time stamps the sites were accessed will be important for JM to show whether or not someone could actually visit sites that often - more likely a trojan opening pop up windows or something similar, imo.

I think it's disingenuous to blame Juan for this or claim he was behind it, though. Juan is not an expert, he relies on his guys for this stuff and if the CA trial taught us anything it's that there can be computer forensics that the state is unaware of. They have no evidence of this.

For the first time, I'm actually scared. What if this helps Jodi to walk? And that's it, she gets to murder a man and get out because of a stupid mistake in the PD. I don't know anymore...

And so clever, Nurmi always finds a way to get out only what he wants out. Suspiciously, the very evening this is filed, Keifer has the article up, clearly written very quickly, and ready to print.

Agree with EVERYTHING you just said.

It pisses me off he didn't request this to be filed under seal where he's "so concerned" about media and the jury being influenced. I hope like HELL this can be totally proven false for many reasons one being that I don't want Jodi to get the last word that Travis was a pedophile. Poor Travis is still being slaughtered even in death.

Did anyone else watch the Michael Peterson trial in NC? This reminds me of the last minute blowpoke "find" (aka the fauxpoke) choreographed right at the last minute of the trial throwing off the prosecution. It's documented in the documentary The Staircase. It was a preposterous Hail Mary that failed. This smells just the same. I put absolutely nothing past this defense team which, in my opinion, includes Michael Kiefer as an investigator by proxy, being paid by the AZ Republic.

Daryl Brewer "changed his mind" about testifying for Jodi in the penalty phase then Kiefer pulled the trigger on a tv interview where he interviewed Brewer in the shadows (Kiefer's voice but face not shown I mean). He's as dirty as they come posing as an objective journalist.

If he knew it was false, he would be in trouble for more than that. But I just can't see him risking his license for JA.

Will it be important to prove these sites were actually child sites? I noticed they were blocked out but a few of them are still readable and when I searched them the domain was not operable anymore (I couldn't read any of the ones the DT claims are clearly child sites though).

I can't bring myself to imagine the prospect of her walking.

Whatever happens next, I absolutely do NOT believe Travis Alexander was a pedophile or had the slightest bit of interest in children that way.

I KNOW she lied about catching him that day, because I've spent dozens of hours going over the timelines and testimony relating to her ugly story. If she had to lie, how can it be true? She hacked into his computer on countless occasions. It defies belief that she wouldn't have testified about seeing him with on the computer.

OMG my heart breaks for his family tonight.

He's as dirty as they come posing as an objective journalist.

I don't believe Kiefer can be considered a journalist at all ... It's a shame to which the depths he will go to discredit JM apparently even trying to help orchestrate getting a known killer to walk and be set free.

If she does walk due to this technicality I vote she should live with Nurmi or Kiefer.
