I think that's the sole motive here. KN hopes that at least one jury member sees or hears even a snippet of that and cuts CMJA some slack because Travis was ostensibly a pervert that deserved to be butchered alive. As many have said here, men (and even women) often have 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on their computers (and elsewhere). They're men, it happens. I suspect there are thousands of wives out that that would be very surprised, indeed, to see what might be in the the browser cache's of their husbands' computers, even those of many of the fine, upstanding, Mormon men. They may not overtly save the files, but the files are there, anyway, at least temporarily. That CAN happen accidentally, BTW. Have you ever guessed at a logical website name for a famous person, for instance, only to misspell it by ONE letter and end up on a page full of 🤬🤬🤬🤬? I have. That was about 13 years ago, and, I've been pretty careful about guessing website names ever since then. That particular instance was quite memorable for me because I was at WORK at the time and had left my desk for a break while waiting for the slow network to come up, so my screen was full of some major hard-core popups (before we had popup blockers), unattended, for about 15 minutes.

What place has 🤬🤬🤬🤬 got in this case? Images of CMJA's not-so-private parts were shown up close and personal in the courtroom. THAT was 🤬🤬🤬🤬. SHE was the one taking and posing for pornographic photos. The DT has negated any impact MORE 🤬🤬🤬🤬 would have. In the overall scheme of the trial, it's pretty much a non-issue at this point. They had down & dirty, free-wheeling, uninhibited sex. So what?

Of course, KN wants to HINT that there was child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found on the computer and subsequently deleted by LE, which makes no sense. If nothing else, any child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found would be SAVED by LE in pursuit of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 investigation, so it STILL would make no sense for anyone to deliberately erase any trace of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 from Travis' computer, whether or not it was adult or child in nature.

Absolutely brilliant point!!!!! What self-respecting LE would attempt to cover up child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, and any subsequent investigation, just to save a murder victim's rep?????

Hatfield, I am really naive when it comes to software, in general. What is the purpose of malware and why do people create it and send it out? Just for kicks? Do they gain something from the persons computer that they have corrupted?

I guess I really don't understand the purpose. TIA to anyone who can answer.

I've done lots of research on this subject years ago, since it has fascinated me.

There are MANY REASONS that malware/virus software is created and thrown out to the masses.

Many years ago, the early known viruses were primarily created by young very smart kids just trying to hack into secure businesses for the sheer fun of it. To look at things that were protected. They really did just have a blast at it and they got enjoyment of being inside places that were supposed to be secure.

That quickly changed over time once people realized the power of seeing databases of protected information.

Nowadays, these sorts of things are also written to get MONEY. Hackers (especially professional overseas hackers) try to gain access to bank accounts, names, addresses, social security numbers, email addresses, etc.

But there are still plenty of maliicious software created for the sheer fun of destruction. Self-propagating viruses that spread from 1 user to another and can bring down entire companies applications. People just get a sick kick out of it.

And the really scary thing, is there have been allegations that some of the Anti-Virus companies themselves have released these sort of mass attacks so people will buy their Anti-virus software to protect their PCs.
That is not as common anymore because there are enough true crazy people that like to create these and release them.

So, as you can see MANY reasons exist.

I honestly believe it was a trojan virus, but I also dont care if he looked at 🤬🤬🤬🤬 honestly...I'd be more surprised if a 20 something yr old single man did not look at 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and this will work against Jodi as the jury probably has some men on there who look at 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Does that make them deserving of being murdered?

sorry forgot to ask...was this child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or regular 🤬🤬🤬🤬 supposedly?

There's a couple sites he's claiming are "clearly" child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 sites but he doesn't actually knows this. He just suspects it based on the names. No proof.

Or woman.
I think they stated they found 🤬🤬🤬🤬 which "could" be child 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

They did a crappy job of redacting so if you look closely at the motion you can see exactly which sites they are alleging - I expect there to be pictures of the murderer herself in the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 archives!

I couldn't finish reading past the site names and dates, it was too nauseating and I knew what it would say, knowing the tack Nurmi/JA is taking at this point.

If Travis had been into 🤬🤬🤬🤬 of any sort, it would have been a longer-term interest. I think it's telling that all the sites and dates mention go to the end of the premeditation phase of JA's nefarious plan. It is also after the time JA claims she saw child "🤬🤬🤬🤬" picture on the computer, oops... actual photograph. It's so obvious to me at first glance.

This motion will set prosecution experts into a frenzy of re-examination of their evidence. This will take time, which is exactly what Nurmi wants.

For the sake of my own sanity, I'm going to opine that it's just another trick dreamed up by JA during her pro-per phase a little while back.

While not giving exact quotes, everything Nurmi wrote about the sites were equivocal, using terms such as "possibly" which leads me to believe he has to do this for his client.
I couldn't agree more.

If Travis accessed 🤬🤬🤬🤬, IMO, it suddenly wouldn't appear 8 days prior to his death.

I do think this will slow down even more, and it could be a tactic to piss off the jury.

I sure hope they see right through this manifestation of lies and deceit, because at the moment, I don't buy it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Kirk Nurmi claiming that the police purposely erased those files? How does he intend to prove that? Why the hell would they want to?

Well he's a man and apparently has fallen for Jodi and all her tales. Let's just be thankful he didn't land on the jury or someone like him didn't land on the jury otherwise we would still be working on getting her convicted.

His name is Dorian Bond

What I find curious is this:
1. The alleged 🤬🤬🤬🤬-activity after he was murdered
2. How their first expert didn't find anything and now suddenly they take a look again
Curious... Very curious...

He said one possibility for overwritten files would be a scheduled Windows defrag, which occurred when it was turned on. But this is just one possibility.

Do average folk actually do the defrag cleaning? I know how to, but have done it exactly twice in over 20 years of owning computers. Of course, I clean my toaster about once year, so maybe that's just me. ;)

The bottom line, even if 🤬🤬🤬🤬 searches, blah blah blah, the killer slaughtered Travis. I find this weird, that he only looked at 🤬🤬🤬🤬 for a few days before he was murdered. Does not make sense to me. The killer is going down and taking whoever the beast can drag down with her.

Why would the killer destroy her computer??? Makes no sense.

It's circumstantial. And at this point it is the absolute best shot he and Jodi have so expect him to hit this one harder than anything else. PD computer forensics experts receive rudimentary training. But Juan is going to need to hire someone more knowledgable and higher up than that, here, probably an FBI analyst with a specific degree in a computer or software related field.

I'm sorry but he was having all kinds of wild sex, I wouldn't be surprised if he had (regular) 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on his PC. The only thing I'm worried about is whether or not JSS will fall for the defense's "this was removed on purpose by the police to frame my client" BS and declare a mistrial and overturns the psycho's conviction.

On an older computer I had, years ago, mid 90's. I did faithfully once a week. Usually on Sunday.
This computer I have now, which is nearly 9 years old. Not once! Ha!

err in response to defrag a computer.

I asked him that, too. He says windows sometimes does it automatically. I looked it up and that's true.

I also asked him if an anti virus software would show as file overwrites. Still waiting to hear back on that one.

I think that one of the top 100 lawyers and Einstein are starting to believe their own press.

I used to but I have become slack as of late....am behind on my virus scanning as well...I update all my malware, etc. protections promptly but need to run them ASAP.

I'd say because she was doing something on her computer, hmmm like making cd's and such that would definitely show she was up to something. To coinwinkeydink for me.

The WHY part is easy: If the prosecution tampered with evidence, then JA most likely walks free.

The HOW part is more challenging, especially after both sides have had a shot at it. Whatever one of KN's fleet of 🤬🤬🤬🤬 experts can say, JM will have some expert who can rip it apart. Most likely it comes back to JA planting it as part of her premeditation, so it could backfire.

This could well backfire, but I'm willing to bet at this point that he will demand the trial be halted until they can hold hearings over whether this can be entered as evidence - of course he'll need more time for that first - and for JSS to make a ruling before the penalty phase continues. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Thanksgiving passes before another witness testifies in penalty phase II. He only needs to get 5 more jurors to bail when they realize they are going to be on the hook well past Christmas....

Question:

Has Juan responded to the defense's latest BS motion about the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ?

And has a Hearing been scheduled for this Motion ?

THANKS !!!
