I think she will be more wary of secrecy requests moving forward but is unlikely to take the time to reconsider her prior secrecy rulings (including "all sidebars to be sealed") unless someone pushes the issue.

Yes, I've had a special action order change a case in midstream. Normally the judges go out of their way to seem extra-special fair afterward, to make sure no one thinks they resent having whatever the ruling was reversed.

Now that the AZ COA has rendered their decision, will the DT keep making the secrecy requests? If they just stopped doing it, wouldn't that help move this case along? I am confused why they think this will benefit their client. TIA

Nurmi seems to have a weird sense of entitlement to me, and I don't think he'll take the COA's "suggestions" to heart and gracefully concede. I fully expect him to refuse to go on with his defense and wait for the COA's hearing/ruling. JMO

He is not.
