This whole process is unfamiliar and so confusing. If there is evidence why would it not be presented at the GUILT trial?

She also said the only weapons Travis had in his house were his fists...

So basically if Jodi is the secret witness, she is gonna be pretty irate that the cross by JM won't be a secret -oooh, that's gotta burn, lol!

If she is the secret witness, then this could be the main reason she wanted this hidden from the public. Perhaps she has been told how most people feel she failed miserably on the stand and Juan tore her to shreds. Perhaps she is finally realizing that she is not so loved by the public like she may have thought at one time.

It does make you wonder if she was isolated and filtered from reality during the time of those early post 1st trial interviews and she could have had a very wrong understanding of what people really thought of her. With her arrogance, I can see her making that mistake.

Someone finally told her the truth.

I think the only reason she's a "secret" witness is so that Nurmi and Wilmott can keep her off the stand longer. They had to know all of this would happen. Maybe they're hoping we'll get bored, HLN will go bankrupt, and their client will die of old age.

Thanks....I did not know that....so if the felon had her parents put it in, who had them take it down? Everything the defense does is with a purpose to blame the other side....but that is MOO

Because evidence that is relevant to mitigation is often not relevant to guilt. E.g., whether or not Jodi is a model prisoner.

In this phase, the rules of evidence are mostly suspended, so I don't think it would be necessary for her to testify in order for the experts to talk about what she told them.

Your memory isn't that fuzzy -- you are correct!
